| ‘Spider-Man’ Villain Rhys Ifans Arrested At Comic-Con Posted: 25 Jul 2011 03:49 AM PDT This weekend’s San Diego Comic-Con was a huge event jump starting anticipation for upcoming TV shows and films, and even a celebrity arrest! Actor Rhys Ifans, who recently starred in Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, as Luna Lovegood‘s bizarre father, was arrested Friday evening at the event.
A member of Ifans ‘entourage’ was denied entry and so the actor took it upon himself to shove a security guard out of the way to allow his friend passage. Rhys was there to promote his upcoming film The Amazing Spider-Man, in which he plays a villain named The Lizard. He was allowed to take part in Friday’s Q & A panel, before being placed under a citizen’s arrest by the guard who was shoved. “He was aggressive and belligerent,” Lt. Andra Brown said of the Welsh actor. “He was… berating everyone from the security staff to the United States of America.” “He was cited and released, which is a non-custodial misdemeanor arrest, but, according to him, the U.S. sucks and he doesn’t want to come back” The actor celebrated his 44th birthday on Friday, which might explain why he was said to have reeked of alcohol. |

According to sources, Winehouse had bought drugs just hours before her death at her London home. It is claimed that the singer was seen buying drugs from a well-known dealer in Camden around 10:30pm on Friday. The drugs she allegedly bought were cocaine, ecstasy and ketamine. One close source claims, "It was an ecstasy overdose. She could do cocaine until the cows come home. But this was obviously a dodgy pill." The exact cause of death is still unknown. Amy's was last widely seen by the public on Wednesday night at her goddaughter, Dionne Bromfield’s performance at the iTunes Festival where she took the stage with her. Fans all over the world are mourning the death of the fallen star. Once word spread of her death, fans and friends flocked to her home to pay tribute. Fans left pictures, alcohol, cigarettes, flowers, candles and letters outside the North London flat. Winehouse’s friend and fellow celebrity, Russel Brand, released a statement on his website saying,
One interviewer had asked Winehouse if she had any unfulfilled ambitions, she replied, "Nope! If I died tomorrow, I would be a happy girl." |
| Kristen Stewart As ‘Snow White’ – First Look (Photos) Posted: 24 Jul 2011 05:41 PM PDT New photos have been released for the new 'Snow White and The Huntsman' movie and according to the photos this is going to be nothing like the fun and colorful Disney version of the past. The photos were released today at Comic Con.
In the photo we see 'Twilight' star Kristen Stewart as Snow White, dressed in medieval armor and sporting a large shield. As we all know, this is not the only 'Snow White' film to be hitting movie theaters in the near future.
When asked how Universal's film would compare to Relativity Media's, director Joe Roth said that they were “very different pieces.” He compared ‘Snow White and the Huntsman’ to the scale of ‘Lord of the Rings’ and said that it is a "tough, rough male and female action movie." A photo of Lily Collins has also been released of her in the Snow White character. Collins would be considered more of the traditional 'princess' character, with her beautiful dress and sweet demeanor. Which do you like better?
