Nick performed the song at a recent concert and after seeing his cover on YouTube, Gaga took to her Twitter page and posted a link to video, along with her stamp of approval. “Swoon! Nick Jonas singing The Edge of Glory,” Gaga tweeted. “On my way to press conference in Taichung, listening to it. So dreamy! X,” Gaga gushed. Jonas tweeted back to her, “@ladygaga the pleasure is all mine. That is a beautiful song. Keep inspiring the world.” How cute! Do you like his version of the song? |
Selena Gomez Says, ‘It’s Nobody’s Business’ (Audio) Posted: 05 Jul 2011 01:09 PM PDT Selena Gomez joined the “Johnjay and Rich” syndicated radio show this morning to play her new single and talk about her new movie. During the interview, the topic turned to the recent picture of Selena and boyfriend Justin Bieber that’s been circulating the internet; the one where Justin is massaging Selena’s foot. Basically, Selena said the fact that the picture made it to the internet is “unfortunate” and it “creeps her out.” As the interview continued, one of the hosts (Johnjay) asked Selena, “Isn’t this what you always wanted?” Selena replies yes, but this aspect is a drawback that she doesn’t enjoy, but she realizes that it’s a part of the job. Then Selena is asked WHY she’s annoyed by the picture, as there is seemingly nothing controversial about it. Selena replies, “Because it’s nobody’s business and it’s extremely invasive.” [See post to listen to audio] She continued to say that it’s aggravating that people take her picture wherever she goes. The person was sitting in front of them, holding up a camera. Not rocket science. |

Posted: 05 Jul 2011 09:12 AM PDT That's right! The bi-winning warlock, Charlie Sheen is set to be the next ‘Roastee’ at the next Comedy Central Roast. In a statement released by Sheen, the actor discloses, "You could say I’ve been providing kindling for this Roast for a while … It’s time to light it up. It’s going to be epic." Clearly, some obvious targets for the 'Roasters' will be: Charlie's coke addiction, his porn star family, winning, tiger's blood, and the other ridiculous aspects of this once respectable star’s life. The Roast will be taped in Los Angeles on September 10 and will air on Comedy Central on the 19th. Not so coincidentally, this just so happens to be the same night the new “Two and a Half Men,” starring Ashton Kutcher is set to premiere. A rep for Comedy Central released a statement saying, “Charlie has assured us that nothing will be off limits in this Roast… which scares even us." For a guy who is used to be fried, I wonder how he will take being roasted. …WINNING! |
Meet The Next Rebecca Black (Video) Posted: 05 Jul 2011 08:48 AM PDT Rebecca Black should know, the internet moves fast and has a short memory. The person responsible for Black, Patrice Wilson of Ark Music Factory, has already discovered his next teen viral sensation, named Lexi St. George. But Patrice isn't planning on stacking Lexi up to his label's breakout star. "I don't want people comparing and saying she's the next Rebecca Black," Wilson told Gawker. "With this project, it's a bit of a different thing. We wanted to make something everybody could like, whether the older or younger generation… I don't anticipate that people are going to dislike this video. I hope people give her a chance and not say I don't like ark music factory so I don't like this song." Stop with your nonsense, seriously. |
Justin Bieber’s Vanity Fair Cover Bombs Posted: 05 Jul 2011 08:22 AM PDT Justin Bieber covered Vanity Fair's February issue, and it is on track to become the worst-selling issue in 12 years — It’s almost like box office poison! The Bieber’s cover has only sold 246,000 copies. If that number holds true, the Bieber’s cover will be Vanity Fair's biggest bomb since Will Smith graced a July 1999 cover for the movie, "Wild, Wild West." WWD reports that Bieber wasn’t just bad for Vanity Fair. He didn’t sell well last year for issues of Teen Vogue and People. Despite Bieber’s negative impact, Adweek reports that Vogue is having a great year. One big seller: March’s Lady Gaga issue. I think it’s time to take a hint … poor Bieber. |
Paris Hilton Swaps Spit With ‘Hangover’ Director Posted: 05 Jul 2011 07:12 AM PDT Paris Hilton only recently broke up with her boyfriend Cy Waits, and she’s already swapping spit with director of The Hangover, Parts I and II, Todd Phillips. Does she have no shame? The couple were spotted on Thursday night, inside Beacher’s Madhouse at the Roosevelt Hotel in Hollywood. TMZ’s sources report that this wasn’t the first time they kissed. Todd was also spotted at Hilton’s pre-July 4th party on Friday, where the two not “only had eyes for each other,” but they also treated partygoers with some serious displays of affection. [SEE PHOTOS]. Talk about being pretty high-up on our list of unlikely hook-ups. What was he thinking?! The socialite has dated a string of men which include fashion model Jason Shaw, singer Nick Carter, Greek shipping heir Paris Latsis, another Greek shipping heir, Stavros Niarchos III, Good Charlotte guitarist Benji Madden, ‘The Hills’ star Doug Reinhardt and then Waits. I’m sure the list will go on and on. image (top): TMZ |
