Joe Jonas Creates Song Using Only Tabloid Headlines (Video)

Posted: 29 Jun 2011 10:39 PM PDT

Joe Jonas joined Scott Mills and his BBC Radio 1 team to create and perform a brand new song using headlines from real life gossip magazines.

Sounds like a good time, doesn’t it?

With lyrics such as, “I … paint… with my boobies,” and “I’m so fat I broke the toilet, six toilets actually,” laughter ensues.

I love how he looks into the camera, when singing the chorus for a second time, “I paint with my boobies.”

Pope Benedict XVI Joins Twitter (Video)

Posted: 29 Jun 2011 09:55 PM PDT

Pope Benedict XVI has joined Twitter, sending his first tweet on Tuesday from the Vatican media's Twitter account.

It seems so surreal, doesn’t it?

The 84-year-old’s first tweet praised Jesus and directed his fans to News.va, the Catholic Church's just-launched portal for official news.

"I want to be present wherever the people are found," said Benedict.

“Dear Friends, I just launched http:http://t.co/DZoqEGz Praised be our Lord Jesus Christ! With my prayers and blessings, Benedictus XVI,” tweeted the Pope.

"I want to be present wherever the people are found.”

At the time of this report, Pope Benedict XVI has just over 9,000 followers.

It will be interesting to see how quickly that number increases.

MySpace Sells For A Mere $53 Million, Justin Timberlake Now Part Owner

Posted: 29 Jun 2011 03:15 PM PDT

MySpace has been sold to an advertising network for a mere $35 million!

News Corp. declared they were ready to sell MySpace in February, however, the media company was reportedly hoping to get at least a $100 million out of the sale.

According to MySpace, singer Justin Timberlake will take some ownership in the company and play a role in its future.

"There's a need for a place where fans can go to interact with their favorite entertainers, listen to music, watch videos, share and discover cool stuff and just connect. MySpace has the potential to be that place," Timberlake said in a statement.

"Art is inspired by people and vice versa, so there's a natural social component to entertainment."

In 2005, News Corp. bought the site for $580 million from its original owners, but MySpace's traffic has plummeted in recent years. News Corp. will still hold a 5% to 10% stake in the company.

Do you think anything will revive the social media dinosaur?

Aaron Carter Claims Michael Jackson Gave Him Cocaine

Posted: 29 Jun 2011 02:07 PM PDT

No MJ is not the name of his local dealer, he is talking about THE Michael Jackson!

In an interview exposing their relationship together, Aaron Carter tells OK! how Jackson gave him drugs and alcohol when he [Carter] was just 15 years old.

"I never talked about it… This is the first time. I do… I miss Michael… I have spent such incredible times with him. I did things with him that nobody else did… But I was also troubled about what he did to me," Aaron reveals.

Aaron goes on, "Yes, he gave me wine. I mean, I could have refused, but I was 15."

"He gave me cocaine. I felt weird about that and other stuff… We spoke afterwards, hours and hours, on the phone. I admired Michael, but his behaviour bothered me a lot. Then my mother called the police…" Carter adds.

That's so typical of Aaron Carter to try and leech of the attention of the anniversary of Michael's death.

Not to say what Michael did wasn’t wrong, but it’s just so desperate of Carter to bring it up now.

Rihanna Loud Tour – Los Angeles (Photos)

Posted: 29 Jun 2011 02:01 PM PDT

Rihanna's Loud Tour hit Los Angeles last night and thanks to Nivea's Skin2Skin, Allie is Wired had VIP tickets.

We took our giveaway winner, David, and had an absolute blast! See our pics below:

The sexy singer opened the show with 'Only Girl (In the World)' sporting long red locks, a bedazzled bikini, and neon heels. Rihanna sang hit after hit and kept the energy going all night long.

During the middle of the show, Rihanna changed into a stunning yellow gown and gave a moving performance of 'Unfaithful’ and ‘Hate That I Love You’. Her voice was on point the whole evening. We honestly couldn't believe how great she sounded!

Fun surprises included on stage shots to start the song 'Cheers (Drink to That)' and Rihanna running through the floor aisles during the 'Run This Town' and 'Live Your Life Medley'. We also spotted stars like Keri Hilson, Perez, Tristan Wilds, and Travis Barker enjoying the show.

Before the last song, Rihanna took a second to genuinely thank her fans for all of their support and segued into 'Take a Bow'. Rihanna closed the night on a flying piano with an encore of her hit with Eminem ' Love the Way you Lie' and 'Umbrella'.

Thanks again to David for taking amazing pictures and being a great date. Make sure to checkout Rihanna & Nivea's Skin2Skin challenge!

Lindsay Lohan Is Free!

Posted: 29 Jun 2011 01:15 PM PDT

After a grueling thirty-five days of intensive torture, Lindsay Lohan has been set free from her house arrest today!

The L.A. County Sheriff's Department has confirmed that Lohan was officially released at 10:20 AM.

The tracking device on Lindsay’s ankle has been removed and she will be free to leave her home whenever she wishes.

But Lindsay isn't in the clear just yet.

She is still on probation for the jewelry theft and she must complete her 480 hours of community service.

On top of that Lindsay must also enroll in a “shoplifters alternative class” (oh jeez) and undergo psychological counseling.

Hey Lindsay, you just got released from house arrest! What will you do next?

Going to Disneyland?

I think not…

The Bachelor’s Emily Maynard Dumps Brad Womack

Posted: 29 Jun 2011 12:10 PM PDT

The Bachelor's Emily Maynard and Brad Womack have called it quits.

After months of speculation that the two had split Maynard has come forward and confirmed to PEOPLE that the relationship had come to an end.

“We’re no longer engaged,” said Maynard with tears in her eyes after taping an interview with Bachelor host Chris Harrison for an episode of ABC’s The Bachelorette which airs July 11th.

By opening up about the status of the relationship, she hopes to stop “all the media speculation” so that she and her daughter, Ricki, “can move on and get back to normal.”

Maynard adds, “Just because we love each other doesn’t mean we’re right for each other.”

While Womack tells PEOPLE in a statement that “the demise of our relationship was completely my fault.”

Why would the end of the relationship be his fault?

Did Brad cheat on her?

What do you think?

Amber Rose denies allegations that she tried to steal Nicki Minaj‘s boyfriend via a series of nude cell phone pics.

Mediatakeout claims photos of the model (See PHOTOS), which leave absolutely zero to the imagination, were sent to Minaj’s boyfriend, Safaree last year.

Sounds like some nasty revenge.

“These blogs do nothing but try to ruin ppls lives I DID NOT send pics to anyones boyfriend pls stop with the lies. Its so ridiculous. smh,” tweeted Amber Rose.

She continued, “Yall been doing this to me for 3 years now it shld be illegal to write fake stories about ppl the media never wants to see anyone happy.”

I’d like to be able to tell you if the photos are real or not, but I can’t hang around long enough to study them.

Lourdes Leon, Madonna‘s daughter, and It girl Kelly Osbourne are making waves in the fashion world.

Kelly was recently chosen as the new muse for Lourdes and Madonna’s latest Material Girl collection only available at Macy’s, taking over for the controversial Taylor Momsen.

“We have both enjoyed working with Kelly and are thrilled to have her on board for the launch of the Fall 2011 collection,” said Madonna and her daughter Lola.

“I’m really enjoying being the face of Material Girl. I love being part of a brand for girls and having the opportunity to work with Lola who has an amazing fashion instinct. Added to that is the fact that Madonna has been a big influence on my style over the years,” stated Osbourne.

The campaign creative represents the quintessential New York City scene with Osbourne being photographed for a series of print ads in Times Square, Rockefeller Plaza, Soho, the West Village, Little Italy and Chinatown.

Steven Spielberg’s ‘War Horse’ Trailer (Video)

Posted: 29 Jun 2011 04:38 AM PDT

From director Steven Spielberg comes War Horse, an epic adventure for audiences of all ages.

Set in rural England and Europe during the First World War, War Horse begins with the remarkable friendship between a horse named Joey and a young man called Albert, who tames and trains him.

When they are forcefully parted, the film follows the extraordinary journey of the horse as he moves through the war, changing and inspiring the lives of all those he meets – British cavalry, German soldiers, and a French farmer and his granddaughter – before the story reaches its emotional climax in the heart of No Man’s Land.

The First World War is experienced through the journey of this horse – an odyssey of joy and sorrow, passionate friendship and high adventure. War Horse is one of the great stories of friendship and war – a successful book, it was turned into a hugely successful international theatrical hit that is arriving on Broadway next year.

The film stars Emily Watson, David Thewlis, Tom Hiddleston, Jeremy Irvine, and Benedict Cumberbatch, and will hit theaters on January 13th 2012.
