| Lady Gaga’s Meat Dress Goes To Rock Hall Of Fame Posted: 15 Jun 2011 04:39 AM PDT The Rock And Roll Hall of Fame in Cleveland Ohio is going to display Lady Gaga‘s controversial meat dress which she wore to the 2010 MTV Video Music Awards. The ‘dress’ has been preserved and will be on display for one day only, this Thursday, June 16th.
The outfit caused a fuss with many, including PETA who issued this statement; “Meat is the decomposing flesh of a tormented animal who didn’t want to die, and after a few hours under the TV lights, it would smell like the rotting flesh it is and likely be crawling in maggots — not too attractive, really.” It will be added to part of its current Women Who Rock: Vision, Passion, Power exhibit, which highlights “the flashpoints, the firsts, the best, the celebrated — and sometimes lesser known women — who moved rock and roll music and American culture forward.” Rotting flesh… yum. |
| ‘Snow White And The Huntsman’ Undergoes Rewrite Posted: 15 Jun 2011 03:35 AM PDT After sparking a war of the Snow Whites, Universal Pictures has hired on Hossein Amini to rewrite the script. The film stars Kristen Stewart as the ‘fairest of them all’ as well as Charlize Theron and Chris Hemsworth.
The battle of the fairer film began when Universal upped the ante by announcing it would premiere in theaters on June 1st 2012, up from it’s original ‘late 2012′ release. This prompted rival Relativity to move their release up from June 28th to March 16th. Both films have a long way to go before either ends up in theaters, and this setback could have a major impact on how the films fair against each other with audiences. To be honest, from the looks of things, I’d be surprised if the films both get finished… I’m certainly not expected anything good to come out of this. |
| Jennifer Lopez Unsure Of ‘American Idol’ Return Posted: 15 Jun 2011 03:18 AM PDT Season 10 of American Idol had the best ratings of their existence this year, thanks if part to new judges Jennifer Lopez and Steven Tyler. When asked of her plans on whether she will return for next season, Lopez replied “I’m very on the fence about it.”
According to The Hollywood Reporter, Lopez raked in a cool $12 million for her run as judge on the show, which also allowed the singer/actress/dancer a chance to revive her career. “You get to know them,” she said. “You get to know their hopes and their dreams on camera, off camera. You’re helping them off camera, you’re helping them on camera and it’s this crazy ride you go on together.” “I had an amazing time doing it and I love it but I have a lot of other things happening, and it’s going to come down to me making a choice of what I want to do for the next year.” Do you guys want to see Jennifer back in the judges seat next season? Oscar winning actress Natalie Portman and fiance Benjamin Millepied welcome a baby boy into the family. The pair met on the set of her film Black Swan for which Millepied served as her choreographer, and announced their engagement in December. Portman either did not know, or kept well hidden the baby’s gender saying that “I'm very superstitious. I'm very Jewish that way. We don't do that." The actress has stated that once the baby arrives she will be staying away from the spotlight to focus on her family. How much time off is she planning on taking? "I'll be out of the public eye after [the baby's born]," Portman said, adding that she will be laying low for a while and will just take any future career opportunity "as it comes." The baby’s name has not yet been announced. Congratulations you two. |
| Hugh Hefner and Crystal Harris Are NOT Getting Married Posted: 14 Jun 2011 12:48 PM PDT The wedding is off for Playboy giant, Hugh Hefner and fiancé Crystal Harris. Hefner took to his Twitter to announce, “The wedding is off, Crystal has had a change of heart.” TMZ reports, the 25-year-old model left the Playboy Mansion this weekend after having a fight with Hefner.
Sources have revealed that Harris has moved her things out of the famous mansion and that the June 18th wedding has been cancelled. Harris has also been tweeting, but not about the breakup. She instead has decided to focus on promoting her new single, "Club Queen" which I'm sure Hefner helped fund. The two began dating in January of 2009 and became engaged around Christmas of the same year, he is 60 years her senior. Hef's ex and original Girl Next Door, Holly Madison had her reservations about Harris when word of the engagement became public saying, “I think it’s possible Crystal could break Hef’s heart. They could end up divorcing, and she could take half his money.” It may just be wishful thinking, but perhaps Holly and Hef could get back together. We can only hope! |

In Timberlakes new film, Friends With Benefits, the actor engaged in plenty of sex scenes with his co-star, the beautiful Mila Kunis. On the subject Timberlake says, "I'd be lying if I said it wasn't completely awkward. I couldn't tell you the number of people in the crew watching me and my bare a*s, but it was a lot… You can't be shy with comedy even when you're standing there naked." Many people have wondered why Justin hasn't recently released new music, he responded with, "Unfortunately, the business of music is what taints an artist's desire to make music…I love making music. I honestly love it. But there is a level where making music becomes a total life-sucking commitment." "For instance, to do an album and a tour, you have to be absolutely certain that whatever you have to say is from the heart, because you're going to say it a thousand times – and on nights when you don't feel like performing. You need to feel inspiration to get to a level where you're performing like that," the SexyBack singer adds. "But I haven't felt that level of conviction the past few years. And without that conviction it's crazy to put yourself out there." As for Justin's recreational activities, he goes on to say, "Absolutely [I'm a pot smoker]…The only thing pot does for me is it gets me to stop thinking. Sometimes I have a brain that needs to be turned off. Some people are just better high." For the first time I didn’t feel like Justin Timberlake was such a tool, good interview. | ‘Teen Mom’ Amber Portwood Attempts Suicide? Posted: 14 Jun 2011 11:44 AM PDT Teen Mom star Amber Portwood has been rushed to the hospital emergency room after being found unconscious in her home with a rope tied around her neck. She was found just after 12 noon today and is being treated at St. Johns Hospital in Anderson, Indiana.
Boyfriend and baby daddy Gary Shirley grew concerned following a telephone conversation with Portwood, and sent his mother over to her house to check up on her. After Gary’s mom arrived, Amber was found unconscious on a couch. A source is quoted as saying "It's believed she may have taken an overdose of some kind of pill. She also may have tried to tie a piece of rope or string around her neck." Star magazine has confirmed that Portwood was in fact admitted to the hospital’s emergency room, and that she is now conscious and stabilized. |

Baena is joined by her son, Joseph, who is the child she and the former governor of California, Arnold Schwarzenegger had out of wedlock. Mildred says her son is looking forward to building a relationship with the former governor and movie star. She revealed that she hadn't realized the truth of her son's father until her son started to resemble Swarzenegger. She explains, "It was as Joseph grew and I started to see the resemblance that I wondered – but It became more apparent as time went on." "I knew Arnold was the father, and maybe as Joseph got older and began to look like him, he [Arnold] wondered. But he never said anything to me," She added.
Apparently, one day Maria just flat out asked her. Mildred said, "She was so strong. She cried with me and told me to get off my knees. We held each other and I told her it wasn't Arnie's fault, that it takes two." Mildred ended the interview with her thoughts on her former lover, "He's a good man and I know he's suffering too. He loves Maria. I hope with time they work things out." Hmm, I don't know if I'd be that understanding if I was Maria, but that just goes to show her class and strength. | Sarah Palin Emails Written At 8th Grade Level Posted: 14 Jun 2011 08:38 AM PDT The state of Alaska released over 24,000 pages of emails sent and received on former Governor Sarah Palin‘s account. According to the U.K.’s Daily Mail, those correspondences were written at a level equal to that of an eighth grader.
Ok, so she isn’t the most articulate person on the planet… so what? As I read through the various articles I find myself wondering why on earth the state would release the emails. They have nothing to do with policy, or anything at all to do with the office she once held. What’s the big deal if she talks about her tan, or kids jumping on a trampoline. Even Ashton Kutcher and wife Demi Moore think it’s reaching… “As much as I’m not a fan of Sarah Palin I find sifting through her emails repulsive and over reaching,” Kutcher tweeted. Not to mention the fact that the majority of those emails were written on her blackberry, and who among us doesn’t write like an 8th grader or younger while on our cell phones? |

Jennifer Aniston has finally found love in the form of Justin Theroux. It’s just too bad that she had to steal him from another woman… Theroux and long time girlfriend Heidi Bivens have been together and cohabitating for the last 14 years. Until Jen came along, that is. The woman who cried foul when Angelina Jolie swooped in and stole Brad Pitt from under her nose, is no saint herself. Bivens had to vacate the home she shared with Theroux last weekend, since he has now moved on with the former Friends star. A source told the New York Post that “Heidi is heartbroken. She was completely blindsided. She and Justin had been together for years, they had a home. Then he met Jennifer and everything changed. At first he claimed he and Jen were friends.” A rep for Heidi stated that “Heidi and Justin have been together for 14 years. They met when she was 20 years old and he 24, and yes, she just moved out of their home last weekend. She has no comment.” To all Aniston fans that are sure to comment on this piece, no I am not condemning her. Personally, I believe that ‘all’s fair in love and war’ etc. People fall in love, people fall out of love. I just think it’s interesting that after making such a stink about Angie that she would go ahead and do the same thing to someone else. |
