Lady Gaga Takes On Gay Marriage In NYC

Lady Gaga has taken center stage in the battle for the legalization of gay marriage in New York.

She is gathering support for New York's Marriage Equality Act which passed in the Assembly last night.

At the Assembly, Dov Hikind used a picture of Gaga to support his argument against the bill.

"One of the things I love, I got to tell you. I came close to maybe changing my point of view when I started looking at all the celebrities who were telling New Yorkers what the moral, what the right thing was. And none other came close Lady Gaga," said Hikind. "When Lady Gaga got involved and told us this, we should support gay marriage, you know I said Lady Gaga. You know she is my example of how I should lead my life and how I should behave. Came close, but I didn't quite do it."

Yeah, I didn't understand that either.

But despite Hikind and others' efforts, the measure passed 80-63.

Now that the measure has passed Assembly, it has to make it to the Senate floor.

To gather support, Gaga has taken to Twitter to call on all of her New York little monsters to call their Senators to help legalize gay marriage in the state of New York.

Anthony Weiner Resigns After Cross-Dressing Photo Was Released (Photo)

New York congressman Anthony Weiner has officially resigned today after a photo of him wearing women's lingerie was released by the National Enquirer yesterday.

The scandal-magnet congressman announced at a news conference that he had decided to give up his House seat and resign.

While resigning at the press conference, Weiner was heckled by Benjy from The Howard Stern Show who was in the crowd.

Benjy yelled things like “Were you fully erect?” and “Bye bye Pervert.” Weiner remained unfazed.

The photo was captured by a college friend in 1982, when the-then 18-year-old Weiner attended the State University of New York at Plattsburgh.

The scandal began when a photo was released of Weiner’s wiener through his Twitter account.

Throughout the entire scandal Weiner has refused to resign, but this photo was the last straw.

To be honest this photo was taken when Weiner was 18 and in college, it's not like he was in lingerie last week.

We all do dumb stuff when we're young.

Dave Chappelle Returns To T.V.

Dave Chappelle is coming back to TV… bitches. (Sorry I had to)

The stand-up comedian is planning a return to television, but not in the conventional way.

Chappelle is looking to appear on a paid-subscription service like Netflix or Hulu, yet no deal has been made.

Chappelle made his infamous departure from his hugely popular Comedy Central show, ‘Chappelle’s Show‘ in 2005. He walked away from a $50 million contract for a pilgrimage to South Africa.

Moving to a streaming service like Netflix or Hulu would allow Chappelle much more creative control than he claims he had at Comedy Central.

Recently Chappelle has been working the L.A. comedy circuit, but it may not be going so well.

"It was really depressing. He was talking about the past, about the show," said a comedy circuit veteran who saw Chappelle's set at The Comedy Store in L.A.

Well we will just have to see what happens for Dave and his new possible show.

Hugh Hefner‘s runaway-bride says the decision to call off Saturday’s nuptials was a big relief.

“For a while, I’d been having second thoughts about everything, so I haven’t really been at peace with myself lately,” Harris, 25, told Ryan Seacrest Wednesday morning on his KIIS-FM radio show “It was all just happening too fast for me.”

Jennifer Aniston and her new man, Justin Theroux, are flaunting their love all over New York.

The two were spotted both wearing matching gold rings on their wedding fingers and matching gold watches.

This publicity stunt comes on the tails of news that the two are now living together at Jen's home in Los Angeles.

A source tells Us Weekly, "He's living at her place in L.A. and she's introducing him as her boyfriend." This is a big step for Aniston who hasn't come forward with any relationship since her break up with John Mayer in 2008.

Theroux was romantically connected to costume designer, Heidi Bivens for 14 years, but rumors are swirling that Jen pulled an 'Angelina' and stole Theroux from Bivens who just moved out of the NYC apartment they shared last weekend.

Well Jen, you lose them how you get them so you better hold on to him tight.

Poor Crystal Harris.

Through tears, a newly single Harris confides to ET, that although she is “relieved,” she feels her biggest regret in breaking the engagement was that she “disappointed everybody.”

“It happened so fast,” she says of her decision to marry Hefner, admitting that the glamorous whirlwind of fame played a large part in what may have been a hasty decision.

“Hef asked me to marry him in front of three cameras and a photographer. I thought it was something I wanted.”

She can push out as many tears as she wants… just don’t push out any more music. That crap is just awful!

If Selena Gomez‘s newest single “Whiplash” sounds a bit like Britney Spears, that’s because Spears co-penned it herself.

The track didn't make it onto Britney's latest album, Femme Fatale, but it will be featured on Selena's upcoming album, When The Sun Goes Down.

The 18-year-old entertainer is planning on performing a tribute to Britney during her upcoming concert tour.

Inmate Admits To Shooting Tupac Shakur

Convicted murderer Dexter Isaac who is currently serving a life sentence has fessed up to shooting rapper/actor Tupac Shakur in 1994.

Isaac has also implicated Game‘s manager, Jimmy “Henchmen” Rosemond who is the founder of Czar Entertainment for masterminding the whole thing.

In an interview with AllHipHop.com yesterday, Isaac said he wanted “to apologize to his [Tupac's] family and for the mistake I did for that sucker [Rosemond].”

“In 1994, James Rosemond hired me to rob 2Pac Shakur at the Quad Studio,” said Isaac, who is currently doing time in Brooklyn, N.Y.’s Metropolitan Detention Center. “He gave me $2,500, plus all the jewelry I took, except for one ring, which he wanted for himself. It was the biggest of the two diamond rings that we took. He said he wanted to put the stone in a new setting for his girlfriend at the time, Cynthia Ried. I still have as proof the chain that we took that night in the robbery.”

While Tupac did survive the ‘robbery’ by Isaac in November of 1994, it was the catalyst for the east/west coast rivalry that ultimately ended the lives of both Shakur and Biggie Smalls.

Isaac went on to say “Now I’m not going to talk about my friend Biggie’s death or 2Pac’s death, but I would like to give their mothers some closure. It’s about time that some one did, and I will do so at a different time. Jimmy, you and Puffy like to come off all innocent-like, but as the saying goes: You can fool some of the people some of the time, but you cannot fool all of the people all of the time. Mr. Rosemond, I ask you: Are you going to flip on Puffy when the feds get you? To save yourself like you have done in the past?”

Wow, so Sean P Diddy Combs is involved in all this? Talk about your conspiracy theories…

Selena Gomez Eats Too Much Junk Food (Video)

Selena Gomez eats too much junk food … and she’s blaming that for her recent hospitalization.

During an interview with the Kidd Kraddick radio show in Texas, Selena said it was an overload of junk food that caused the malnourishment.

“I do eat. The problem is I don’t eat right. I love everything that’s possibly not good for me.”

What’s her favorite guilty pleasures?

“I love M&Ms, Kit Kats, Snickers and Goobers at the movies.”

Selena also talks about Justin Bieber, her new movie, 'Monte Carlo', that's in theaters July 1st — and about her upcoming 3rd album 'When the Sun Goes Down', scheduled to drop June 28th.
