| Fan Rushes Stage & Scares Miley Cyrus (Video) Posted: 24 Jun 2011 11:47 AM PDT Miley Cyrus got a healthy dose of terror, when a fan rushed the stage during one of her performances. While Miley was performing her song, ‘The Climb,’ a young fan jumped on stage behind her and ran down the runway before throwing her arms around the young singer.  Miley’s security guard quickly tried to throw the fan back into the crowd. Once the pint-sized Miley worshiper was back in the crowd, the security guard then focused his attention to the singer who he rushed off stage after a shocked Cyrus repeated into her microphone, “Oh my god,” twice. Miley is currently in Australia on her Gypsy Heart tour, which runs through July 2nd. |

| Lindsay Lohan Doesn’t Drink Booze, Just Tea Posted: 24 Jun 2011 07:33 AM PDT Lindsay Lohan was not sentenced to jail yesterday, due to her testing positive on an alcohol test. But, according to the test Lohan did have alcohol in her system even though Lindsay had claimed that alcohol was not a part of her life.
So where is the alcohol coming from, you ask? Lindsay claims that the test came out positive due to her drinking a fermented tea that just so happens to contain a small amount of alcohol. Long Island Iced Tea? Lohan tells friends she’s been drinking Kombucha tea again, which is the same tea that caused problems with her probation earlier this year because it's alcohol content. The company that makes the tea claims the alcohol content is less than .05%. Either way, Lindsay could be doing beer bongs and shots if she wanted to because the judge ruled she was no longer required to get tested. Cheers to you Lindsay, drink up! |
| Stella Mouzi Denies Being Mel Gibson’s Girlfriend Posted: 24 Jun 2011 07:12 AM PDT Stella Mouzi, the Greek model who has been spotted hanging out with Mel Gibson, is now denying claims that she and the actor are in a relationship, but to be honest who wouldn't? Mouzi insists that the two are close, but not in a romantic way.
“I came to the U.S. from Greece a few months ago and was charmed by the American hospitality," says Mouzi to PEOPLE. "I made many new friends including Mel Gibson, with whom I share merely a friendly acquaintance.” Mouzi has been described in the media as a fetish model and 'Greek Gothic chick,' but wants to clarify that, “I am a dancer, performance artist and a photographer – that is the extent of my professional life. It has been difficult to be the subject of false rumors, which have also been hurtful to my friends and family.” A close friend has confirmed that Gibson, 55, is not dating anyone at the moment. |
| Rihanna Sued Again Over S&M Video Posted: 24 Jun 2011 06:50 AM PDT Rihanna‘s music video for ‘S&M‘ has landed her in hot water yet again. First the singer was sued by David LaChapelle in February, claiming it copied the “composition, total concept, feel, tone, mood, theme, colors, props, settings, decors, wardrobe and lighting” of his work. Now photographer Phillip Paulus is suing the singer for copyright infringement.  Do you think the two photos above are identical? Paulus alleges that Rihanna identically replicated his series of photographs, called ‘Paperworld,’ in the video without his permission. “For legitimate reasons the use of copying Paulus’ work over a million times requires an agreement that protects the copyright and the achievements and creations of our client which has never been given by our client, neither to the artist Rihanna nor to her label Universal Music,” Paulus’ lawyer said in a statement. “According to this, the copyright laws of our client has been infringed and the worldwide million-wise exploitation of the video ‘S&M’ is unlawful.” Paulus also released a statement of his own” “Why a worldwide celebrity is not able to afford a creative director, who creates individual concepts and stagings, is incomprehensible for me,” Paulus said. “To create new things within the creative cosmos, you can only expect this to come from a real genius, there is no doubt about that.” He adds that the singer and her label should be embarrassed.”every other creative professional should realize how supremely embarrassing it is to copy the work of colleagues from the artistic world and then to be praised for it.” Are the profits so great, that the lawsuits don’t matter? |
| The ‘Jersey Shore’ To Be Recast Posted: 24 Jun 2011 06:16 AM PDT Could this be the end of Snooki? According to reports, producers of the 'Jersey Shore' are planning on recasting the MTV hit after the original guido crew wraps up filming this summer. A source tells Us Weekly, "After this group comes back from Italy and shoots season 5 this summer, that will be the end for them.”
Apparently, the new cast will be a lot cheaper and the current group will now be free to pursue other endeavors, such as spin offs and commercials. After each season ends, the original cast seems to hold out for more money so at this point MTV is ready to move on and start fresh. Reportedly Snooki, Jwoww, The Situation and Pauly D earned around $100,000 per episode to film Season 4 in Italy. Although this is the end for the original Jersey Shore, don't you fret Jersey fans the cast won't be falling into obscurity just yet. Many of the original cast (Snooki, Jwoww, Pauly D and The Situation) have already signed on to do their own spinoffs. As for Ronny, Deena, Sam and Vinny well we will just have to see. |
| Rihanna Denies Making A Confession About Chris Brown Posted: 24 Jun 2011 05:00 AM PDT Rihanna has denied a story reported by MTV Canada based on a tweet, supposedly written by the singer, regarding Chris Brown and the night he attacked her. Rihanna took to her Twitter page saying, “@mtvnewscanada are u f#cking kiddin me?????? You’re supposed to be a RELIABLE source for news on music and this is the bullsh#t u post??”  MTV Canada ran a story which quoted a tweet from Rihanna’s official Twitter page, allegedly from the singer, where she admitted she provoked Chris Brown on the night he attacked her.  Who knew Rihanna cursed like that? She reminds me of Whitney Houston, beautiful to look at — then she starts talking. Brown physically attacked Rihanna in 2009 and later pleaded guilty to assaulting her and publicly apologized for the incident. |
