| Miley Cyrus Accuses Twitter Of Blocking Her Trending Topics Posted: 20 May 2011 11:27 PM PDT Miley Cyrus rejoined Twitter a little over a month ago, and she’s already miffed with the social networking service. After several weeks of tweeting her little heart out, she still has yet to hit the million follower mark and she’s blaming Twitter!  Miley’s currently hovering around the 977,900 follower mark, and really wants to hit one million. On Tuesday she tweeted, “I am SO close to a 1,000,000 lets make it happen by the weekend =] xxx.” Shortly thereafter, a user named MileyCyrusBz informed Miley that Twitter had somehow “blocked” the topic they’d tried to trend about Miley.  Outraged, Miley replied, “We have to get everyone tweeting that #twitteriswack because they block me as trendings! why are they being shady??!” Then she continued, “ha! if twitter is blocking me getting 1,000,000 they’ll deff block #twitteriswack They are worst than the gov. denying aliens!” Miley abandoned her 1.1 million followers in 2009, announcing that she did it for her fans. Is her not reaching one million yet, really that shocking? |

| Justin Bieber Launches Perfume For Girls Posted: 20 May 2011 04:19 PM PDT Justin Bieber has launched his first fragrance and it’s for women, named ‘Someday‘. Speaking of the fragrance, Justin told Women’s World Daily, “They really let me take the lead on the entire project, because I know my fans better than anyone—from working with the team on the development of the fragrance itself to helping to design the bottle and packaging."  Perfect… it will go along great with his nail polish line. Perfumer Honorine Blanc of Fiermenich created the fragrance as a delicious fruity–gourmand, appropriate for the age of its expected audience (girls from 14 to 18 years old). Lance McGregor designed the ultra–girly bottle with its stopper shaped as a flower of layered hearts and removable charms hanging from its neck. “Someday” will be available June 1st. |
| Blondie Releases New Single ‘Mother’ (Video) Posted: 20 May 2011 01:48 PM PDT Blondie released their first single ‘Mother’ from the new album entitled ‘Panic of Girls’, set to be available this September. This is the first single in 8 years from the group, who have recorded most of the album in Woodstock, NY.  I know the end of the world is supposed to be tomorrow, but don’t let the zombies scare you! Check out the first single from their ninth studio album below. Personally, I prefer classics like ‘Heart of Glass’ and “One Way or Another’. The new album has been recorded by original members Debbie Harry, Chris Stein and Clem Burke along with long term bassist Leigh Fox, and also features The Cars' Elliot Easton. |
| Randy ‘Macho Man’ Savage Dies In Car Accident (Video) Posted: 20 May 2011 01:08 PM PDT When word hit this morning that WWE/WWF wrestling legend Randy ‘Macho Man’ Savage died in a car crash, I have to say that a tear came to my eye. When I was little I got a chance to see him in all his over-exaggerated glory – and it was a spectacular showing.
TMZ was first to report on the story, after they spoke with Savage’s brother Lanny Poffo, who told the TMZ staff that his brother suffered a heart attack while driving with his wife Lynn, in Seminole, Florida. According to the Florida highway patrol, Savage was driving his Jeep Wrangler when he veered across the median into oncoming traffic and ended up in a head on collision with a tree. The wrestling legend was taken to Largo Medical Center where he died of his injuries. Savage was 58. Miraculously, wife Lynn who was in the passenger seat received only minor injuries, and was treated at a different hospital. One of my favorite moments in WWF history; Randy Savage and Honky Tonk Man from Saturday Night Main Event XII. The Hart Foundation interfere in the fight, and Hulk Hogan comes to his rescue. Now THAT is entertainment! R.I.P. Randy. You will be missed. |
| Lindsay Lohan Files Restraining Order Against Stalker Posted: 20 May 2011 11:11 AM PDT Lindsay Lohan has obtained a restraining order against the alleged stalker we reported about earlier. Lohan fears that the stalker will sexually assault her due to his aggressiveness over the past 2 years. TMZ reports the restraining order was issued against David Cocordan.
According to legal documentation obtained by TMZ, Lohan states that Cocordan has came to home at least 3 times, sent her over a hundred text messages and has followed her to many public appearances. [See the Legal Declaration on TMZ Here] In the declaration, it is said that Cocordan sent a text message that was so shocking and disturbing to Lohan, that she fears that he intends to sexually assault her. The LAPD is now on the case and have said that they have reason to believe Cocordan has schizophrenia among other mental problems. |
| Marion Cotillard Gives Birth To Baby Boy Posted: 20 May 2011 10:57 AM PDT Marion Cotillard, of Inception fame, and her French actor boyfriend Guillaume Canet are now parents. PEOPLE reports that Cotillard gave birth to their son, Marcel, on Thursday night in Paris, France.
A source verifies that "Mother and baby are fine," and later went on to say that the actress is "very happy." Cotillard will be costarring with Anne Hathaway and sometimes ranting, Christian Bale in the new Batman film, The Dark Night Rises in 2012. |
| Katy Perry’s Diva Demands For Concert Rider Posted: 20 May 2011 10:23 AM PDT The folks over at The Smoking Gun.com got a hold of Katy Perry‘s tour rider, and boy is she demanding! With forty five pages of demands in the document, one would almost think that she was Mariah Carey or something – Can we say diva?
For Perry’s dressing room, she requires it to be draped in soft pink or cream, with 2 egg shaped chairs – one of which must have an accompanying ottoman. There must be 2 floor lamps that are of French ornate style, and she must have a refrigerator with a glass door. Her flower arrangements must either be White and purple hydrangeas, pink & white roses and peonies, or if those are not available a then selection of seasonal white flowers to include white orchids will do. But absolutely no carnations, which is underline in the rider. What’s your problem with carnations Katy? Other ridiculous things in the concert contract include; her drivers are not allowed to look at her through their rear-view mirrors, and cannot ask for her autograph… especially while driving (well duh to the driving part). But they aren’t even allowed to look at or speak with her fans… at all.. as in can’t even ask them to move out of the way of the car. Hmm… And Princess Katy must be housed in a palatial presidential suite at a five star hotel, where her bathroom must have at least 3 separate electrical outlets, a gold toilet (I made that one up), and free breakfasts for her and her entire entourage for the duration of their stay. Kyle and Jackie had Lindsay opening up about EVERYTHING – From the show Glee, to her sexuality, to her community service.  Lindsay confessed that when she’s in Los Angeles, she doesn’t leave her house much and watches a ton of television. When asked if she watched the show Glee, she responded with no. Lohan was then asked if she would allow her music to be used on the show to which she said “well yeah, but they’ve made a lot of snarky remarks about me. Which I don’t know why, they don’t need to do that.” “I think they’re all really talented though. | Sarah Palin’s Son Gets Married! Posted: 20 May 2011 08:32 AM PDT It’s a joyous time in the life of the Palin clan. The former Alaskan Governor has been hearing wedding bells – Her 22 year old son, Track, married his long-time girlfriend and high-school sweetheart Britta Hanson, 21. Track and Britta were married in a small ceremony in Hatcher Pass, Alaska.
In a joint statement to People Magazine, the Palin’s and the Hanson’s said; “Our families couldn’t be happier! These are two hard working, humble, active, studious young adults who grew up together. We’re tickled that after two decades of friendship we proudly witnessed their marriage, knowing their new life together will be blessed.” The happy newlyweds will have a larger wedding ceremony this winter at Alyeska Ski Resort, in Alaska when friends and family from the rest of the country are able to share in the celebration. Congratulations to the happy couple! |
