| Dancing With The Stars Week 8 Recap (Video) Posted: 09 May 2011 08:34 PM PDT Ok, now I’m fully convinced that this show is bullsh#t! The judges are biased to the extreme, and I’m not entirely convinced the people responsible for calculating the viewer votes know how to count. That being said, here’s a quick recap of tonight’s Dancing With The Stars…
The five remaining dance couples each performed two dances; their ‘individual dance’ and their ‘instant dance’. (Not entirely sure the difference, but ok.) Mark and Chelsea – Waltz – 29/30. Instant Salsa – 26/30. Combined score of 55/60. Hines and Kym – Fox Trot – 29/30. Instant Jive – 26/30. Combined score of 55/60. Romeo and Chelsie – Tango – 27/30. Instant Salsa – 25/30. Combined score of 52/60. Kirstie and Maks – Argentine Tango – 29/30. Instant Salsa – 25/30. Combined score of 54/60. Ralph and Karina – Vienese Waltz – 25/30. Instant Cha-Cha-Cha – 21/30. Combined score of 46/60. Ok, now on to the part that kinda ticks me off… Ralph Macchio was dancing with a messed up knee and in excruciating pain. He did amazing tonight, with only about 1 moment where his knee didn’t seem strong. He and partner Karina Smirnoff were given the lowest scores of the evening? Doesn’t make sense. Especially when you consider fan fave Kirstie Alley‘s sloppy job at the Instant Salsa. COME ON JUDGES! RALPH WAS BETTER! Not only was Ralph put into last place tonight, he was REALLY judged hard. I mean really… ugh. He better not get sent home tomorrow. That’s all I’m saying… Anyone that sucked it up and danced through the pain that Ralph was in tonight, DESERVES the fan votes. |
| Ralph Macchio May Not Perform Tonight On DWTS! Posted: 09 May 2011 01:03 PM PDT Ralph Macchio may be one of the final 5 celebrity dancers left on ABC’s hit dance competition Dancing with the Stars, but will he actually be able to perform tonight? The original Karate Kid is experiencing excruciating pain right now. The actor/reality star, is suffering from a ruptured Baker’s Cyst behind his knee.
Macchio tweeted his condition a few hours ago; “Have missed days of rehearsal this week. Had a ruptured cyst back of my knee causing acute pain. Hoping to be able to perform tonight!” He is keeping positive and also tweeted “Will be rough around the edges w/o rehearse time. But performing with @Karina_Smirnoff for u guys is the hi-light of every week. Hangin in!” I hope he’s ok enough to get on the stage tonight, he’s my fave to win! And if it’s not the most perfect performance which it likely won’t be without rehearsals, I hope it doesn’t cost him the competition. I guess we’ll find out, won’t we? More to come! |

The Edge of Glory hit iTunes today for download, and no doubt it’ll top the charts VERY VERY song. I give it 24 hours max. I LOVE this song, but then again, I love everything that talented lady does. | Posted: 09 May 2011 12:35 PM PDT It’s so sad to see one of your idols fall so hard. I grew up listening to Whitney Houston, I simply adored her. Approximately 10 days ago, the singer checked herself into an out-patient treatment facility to deal with her alcohol and drug problems.
Whitney is no stranger to alcohol and drug abuse. Ever since her marriage to Bobby Brown began, so did the drug claims. No, I’m not saying that Bobby is the cause of her problems, simply that that is when the drug stories began. The out-patient treatment allows her to be out in public so long as she submits to wearing a monitor, kinda like Lindsay Lohan‘s ankle bracelet. Apparently Whitney is trying to clean herself up for a movie role. I’m gonna go out on a limb here and guess that the role that she’s referring to is Waiting To Exhale 2, which was recently green-lit. Do you think this treatment will help the troubled singer, or will she always be making headlines for drugs and alcohol? Sound off below! |
| Alicia Silverstone Gives Birth! Posted: 09 May 2011 09:35 AM PDT Adorable actress Alicia Silverstone had what I can only imagine as the best mother’s day EVER! This past Friday, May 6th, the actress checked herself into an L.A. area birthing center where she had a water birth.
The baby’s gender and name have not yet been announced, but reports say that mommy, and baby are happy and healthy and at home. While other actresses gave up their vegan diets while pregnant, Silverstone stuck it out and spent a lot time promoting her new diet book “The Kind Diet” which follows the vegan principle. The actress and her husband Christopher Jarecki confirmed the pregnancy in January amid much speculation. Congrats to the happy parents, and Alicia, Happy Mother’s Day to you! |

Bieber took to his Twitter saying, “it’s kinda lame when someone you met briefly and never worked with comments on you. I will continue to wish them luck and be kind.”  Bieber continued with, “Even last week they had me scolded on a plane in the news because i wasnt in my seat fast enough. She was right and i sat down. That’s news?” … and “I know who i am and sometimes people r just going 2 say what they want. Keep ur head up and be the man ur mama raised. #killemwithkindness” As we previously reported, in a recent interview with the French radio show “Le Grand Direct des Mdias,” Helgenberger said the teen sensation was a bit of a pain to work with during his two-episode arc on the CBS procedural. “I shouldn’t be saying this, but he was kind of a brat,” she said. “He was very nice to me, but he locked one of the producers in a closet, and he put his fist through a cake that was on the actors’ table.” What do you think … brat or not? |

The actress has been a Brand Ambassador for the cosmetics company for many years and came to lend her support at the 18th Annual event.  After the opening ceremony, Halle took part in the 5K run/walk at the L.A. Memorial Coliseum in Exposition Park. Other celebrities who were in attendance were Dancing With The Stars judge Carrie Ann Inaba and Alyson Hannigan. |
| ‘Jersey Shore’ Season 4 Production Delayed Posted: 09 May 2011 07:20 AM PDT It was reported earlier that the cast of Jersey Shore were stuck unable to begin filming in Italy. Originally it was stated that the 4th season experienced delays because their permits were pulled. But is this really the case?

| Pippa Middleton Offered $5 Million To Do Porn Posted: 09 May 2011 06:54 AM PDT The British Royal Family has been all over the news lately. It began with the wedding of Prince William and his bride Kate Middleton, and is continuing with controversy relating to her siblings. First baby brother James’s racy photos, then photos of younger sis Pippa surfaced.
And of course then comes in the offer to do porn. Who is the sleazebag behind the offers? Well, Vivid Entertainment‘s CEO Steven Hirsch of course! Pippa is gorgeous, there is no denying that. What I would like to know is what on earth would make Mr. Hirsch think that she’ be interested in working in the porn business? Of course I cannot speak for the bride’s sister, but I just can’t see her doing it. Even if she was offered a whopping $5 million bucks for just one scene. And apparently, Pippa isn’t the only Middleton sibling that Hirsch is after. He reportedly made an offer to brother James as well. To the tune of a cool $1 million. Oh Steve, just give up already… not a chance in hell this is happening dude. |
| ‘Final Destination 5′ Trailer Debuts (Video) Posted: 09 May 2011 06:30 AM PDT As if 4 previous installments weren’t enough for the makers of the Final Destination series, out pops yet ANOTHER sequel. The series was supposed to end with ‘THE Final Destination‘, the forth part… but I guess movie goers are still turning up for these films.
No, I’m not knocking the franchise, in fact, I have seen each and every one of them. They are kind of a guilty pleasure of mine. But I do have to wonder how much longer you can regurgitate the same old story before your audience just gives up on it. What can we expect from part 5? Well, the huge disaster that’s averted seems to be the collapse of a suspension bridge. And of course, as per usual, all survivors get stalked by ‘death’. Check out the trailer. I’m so glad to see the creepy as all hell Tony Todd back in this one. He hasn’t made an onscreen appearance in the franchise since part 2! The beginning of the trailer shows a chick getting some kind of Lasik looking procedure, which will undoubtedly lead to her demise. *Shudder* I can’t stand stuff that has to do with eyes… remember that scene in Hostel when the guy cut off the girl’s eye which was hanging out of it’s socket? WELL EEEEW TO THE MAX! Yuck! I know I’ll be in the theaters for this one when it’s released on August 12th, but will you be there? Tell me your thoughts on part five, in the comments section! |
| Victoria Beckham’s Star-Studded Baby Shower Posted: 09 May 2011 05:15 AM PDT Victoria Beckham had a star-studded baby shower Saturday to celebrate the upcoming birth of her first daughter. The pink-themed shower was held at the private rooftop Butterfly Bar at the Hotel Le Petit Ermitage in West Hollywood, and was hosted by Beckham’s friends Eva Longoria and hair-stylist Ken Paves (no, he’s not a celebrity).  They wrapped themselves in toilet paper. | Robert Pattinson Pretended to Know Prince William (Video) Posted: 09 May 2011 04:44 AM PDT Robert Pattinson pretty famous these days, but that wasn’t always the case for the ‘Water for Elephants’ star. Robert admitted that he pretended to know Prince William when he first arrived in the States in order to get ahead.  Robert appeared on the BBC’s ‘The Graham Norton Show‘ last week and revealed the royal trick he used when he was just starting out in Los Angeles. “When I first came to L.A., it was very easy to convince people I was a member of the royal family. I hadn’t worked for three years — I was unemployed in London — and when people asked what I’d been doing, I told people I went to RADA [Royal Academy of Dramatic Art] with Prince William,” Pattinson said. [Skip to 2:30 mark] “People would think, ‘You’re English, I completely believe you!’” he continued. Have you ever pretended to be someone you’re not? |
