| Susan Lucci Joins Cast Of Desperate Housewives? Posted: 06 May 2011 05:09 PM PDT Elizabeth Rodriguez who starred on the popular soap opera All My Children has spoken out about it’s cancellation. She was interviewed recently about her starring turn on Broadway in the play ‘The Motherf**ker with the Hat‘.
She stated in the interview that she was sad to see the long running show come to such an abrupt demise. But also gave some indication on what was to become of the show’s matriarch Erica Kane. Recent rumors claim that All My Children veteran actress Susan Lucci will once again grace our television screens come this fall. The reports claim that Lucci will move to Wisteria Lane next season, and here’s what Lucci’s former co-star had to say about those rumors; “She’s going to ‘Desperate Housewives‘ apparently. She has a contract at ABC,” Rodriguez said of Lucci. “You heard it here first. That’s what I heard!” Are you excited to see Susan Lucci back on TV as part of the Desperate Housewives gang? | Stevie Nicks To Perform On ‘American Idol’ Finale (Video) Posted: 06 May 2011 12:48 PM PDT Well, it looks like the producers are pulling out all the stops this season on American Idol. Earlier, we reported that Lady Gaga will be mentoring on next week’s performance show. Well, she’s apparently set to perform on the finale show, alongside Rock N’ Roll legend Stevie Nicks!!!!!
No one knows for sure whether or not the two awesome ladies will appear onstage together in the form of a duet, but anything is possible. I’m totally hoping that Stevie performs her newest single Secret Love, off her latest album In Your Dreams which was released this past Tuesday. Check out some awesome Stevie! Enjoy! |

Don't be alarmed, animal rights activists—little Acorn the Penguin isn't going to be living at Buckingham Palace. He'll chill with the commoner penguins at the zoo. “Hopefully the happy couple will come and see little Acorn playing in his pool very soon,” said a spokesman for the zoo, which gave the penguin to the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge as a wedding present.  As we previously reported, before it was announced yesterday, the royal couple will stop off in Los Angeles in July, following their inaugural foreign tour to Canada. |
| ‘Teen Mom’ Amber Portwood To Stand Trial (Video) Posted: 06 May 2011 12:16 PM PDT Hoping to get off lucky after refusing a plea deal in the charges against her, Amber Portwood (MTV’s Teen Mom) left the Madison Superior Court in tears. The now 21 year old found out yesterday that she will in fact need to stand trial for domestic battery charges for beating her then boyfriend Gary Shirley, that stemmed from an airing of the controversial MTV program.
After scenes from the show hit the air, many concerned citizens (nosy nancys) called child abuse hot-lines out of worry for the couple’s young daughter Leah, who bared witness to the abuse. Portwood has also faces charges of neglect of a dependent, as well as one misdemeanor charge of domestic battery. The young ‘mother’ could be seen fleeing the courthouse in tears after hearing that a trial date has been set for her felony charge of battery. The trial is set to begin on November 16th. After hearing the judges decision, she ran into the arms of on-again, off-again boyfriend Gary Shirley, who was photographed kissing her. Wait a second… isn’t there a court order in place that’s supposed to keep the two of them apart? Uh oh Amber… better be careful. You can’t afford anymore trouble in your life… |

According to reports, the Beatles legend and his longtime girlfriend Nancy Shevell are engaged to be married. “Nancy and Paul are getting married. Ring and all — very exciting.” McCartney and Shevell began dating four years ago while the singer was in the midst of his split with second wife, Heather Mills. This will be McCartney’s third marriage. He married Linda McCartney in 1969 (she died in 1998, after battling breast cancer) and Heather Mills in 2002. They separated in 2006 and their divorce was finalized in 2008. |
| Lady Gaga Mentors ‘American Idol’ Final 4 Posted: 06 May 2011 08:33 AM PDT This weeks ousting of the atrocious Jacob Lusk came way too late in the competition, and at the cost of the outstandingly more talented singers Paul McDonald, Casey Abrams, and Pia Toscano. But alas, he is FINALLY out of the competition. With only Lauren, Haley, James and Scotty left, things are heating up, and the final four will have an amazing mentor come next week!
Lady Gaga, whose video for her hit song Judas was released yesterday, will appear as mentor to the remaining contestants on the May 11th episode. The kids will be singer songs by Leiber and Stoller, who wrote most of Elvis Presley‘s hits including ‘Hound Dog’ and ‘Jailhouse Rock’. Season 6 American Idol winner Jordin Sparks will perform on the show. It was announced by Ryan Seacrest that the auditions for season 11 will begin on June 28th in St Louis, MO. To be quite honest, I kinda gave up on this season’s Idol when my favorite of the bunch, Casey was sent packing last week… BUT I will definitely be tuning in next week to check out Gaga. And for good reason. Her life and her struggles are money. As in people make tons of it off of her. And reports that she’s joining the Church Of Scientology is just going to stoke that fire even hotter.
Lindsay’s next big screen project, Gotti: Three Generations, pairs the ingenue with Hollywood heavy weight couple John Travolta, and his wife Kelly Preston. Both of whom are avid scientologists. Reports from The National Enquirer, suggest that Travolta has roped Lindsay into joining the controversial ‘faith’. Granted, rarely are reports from Enquirer proven true, but a soul as lost as Lindsay could be easy pray for the ‘church’.
