Rebecca Black Addresses Pregnancy Rumors

Posted: 16 May 2011 04:19 AM PDT

It’s funny how these things spread like wildfire… Rumors flooded my twitter timeline last nights of ‘reports’ that viral YouTube sensation Rebecca Black was pregnant. Say What?

Of course the rumors were quashed quickly enough, but how does such a rumor get started to begin with?

Apparently, ‘someone’ who posted a report on CNN’s website iReport making the claim. A photo is snapped of the singer holding a note that says “I’m Pregnant! 5/15/11″ and was said to be posted on the singers facebook page by a ‘friend’.

Wow, with friends like that… you know the rest.

CNN’s web masters quickly removed the section, but not before the story spread on twitter like a bad case of herpes.

Black took to her twitter account to address the rumor; “I thought it was May 15th…not April Fools Day. I’m absolutely NOT pregnant.”

Thank goodness!

‘Snow White’ Films Will Face-Off Next Summer

Posted: 16 May 2011 04:00 AM PDT

The two new Snow White films will be pitted against one another next summer at the box office. Both films have A-List stars, but which one will get the leg up at the box office?

Smart money is on the Huntsman, which stars Kristen Stewart, Charlize Theron and Chris Hemsworth.

Historically, when two films with similar subject matter are released simultaneously, the one that get the earlier theater date is the one that gets recognized, while the other simply falls in oblivion.

Such was the case a few years back when two films both about Truman Capote were made the same year. Capote starring Philip Seymour Hoffman did quite well, and earned the star an Oscar. No one really gave the other film (Infamous) a chance.

I guess the early bird really does get the worm in Hollywood.

The Brother’s Grimm: Snow White is set for release on June 29th 2012, which will give ‘Huntsman‘ a solid four weeks to make it’s case as the better film. Pretty sad considering they brought in heavy hitters Julia Roberts and Nathan Lane for the film.

So Kristen Stewart fans can rejoice that her Snow White will more than likely prove indeed to be the ‘fairest of them all’.

Which, if either of the Snow White films would rather see? Tell me in the comments section!
