| Justin Bieber Better Watch Out For Jack Vidgen (Video) Posted: 04 May 2011 12:16 AM PDT Justin Bieber has yet another young singer, ready to take away his microphone. 14-year-old Jack Vidgen, with his side-swept blonde hair, announced he'd be singing Whitney Houston's "I Have Nothing" during his audition with Australia’s Got Talent.  After hearing Vidgen’s plans to sing the Houston number, Kyle Sandilands said: "You're either gonna be amazing or dreadful – both I will enjoy.” Not gonna lie… I cried. Vidgen said in the short clip introducing his background, that he came to the show in hopes that winning will make his father with multiple schlerosis "smile". |
| Shania Twain Talks About Ex-Husband’s Affair (Video) Posted: 03 May 2011 11:38 PM PDT Shania Twain has broken her silence and says the breakup of her marriage in 2008 left her devastated. “I didn’t want to kill myself but I didn’t want to live,” a somber Shania Twain said in an interview that aired Tuesday on ‘The Oprah Winfrey Show.’ “Our lives were intertwined in every respect and I really was completely shocked.”  Twain was referring to the discovery that her then-husband Robert “Mutt” Lange was having an affair with her assistant and close friend, Marie-Anne Thiebaud. But in a twist of fate that plays out like a movie, Shania found love with the other jilted party in the affair — Marie-Anne’s ex-husband, Frédéric Thiébaud. He was the one who helped the singer get back on her feet and see the split as “a very positive thing.” “Frédéric Nicolas Thiébaud has been a true gift to me as a compassionate, understanding friend,” Shania wrote in a letter to fans on her website, “and over time, an amazing love has blossomed from this precious friendship.” Shania and Frédéric were married in a beach-side, sunset ceremony in Rincon, Puerto Rico on New Year’s Day 2011. |

So can you guess who decided to put Raquel on their team?  In spite of her nerves, Raquel gave an outstanding performance of Leona Lewis’ “Bleeding Love”. It was her mother who couldn’t contain her emotions. The Voice attracted a whopping 11.8 million viewers last week for its debut, as Christina Aguilera, Maroon 5′s Adam Levine, Cee Lo Green and Blake Shelton started picking singers in a blind audition to form teams of eight. “We definitely fight for certain contestants,” Aguilera said recently. “If we turn our chairs around at the same time, then we become on the hot seat. And there has been some pretty heated debates about who gets the person on their team. It’s pretty addicting thus far!” American Idol might be the highest-rated show on television, but after years of the same things, The Voice finally brings something new and better to the table. |

| Dancing With The Stars Week 7 Elimination (Video) Posted: 03 May 2011 07:25 PM PDT After seven weeks of mediocrity, former Playboy Girl Next Door Kendra Wilkinson finally gets her little butt voted off the island. Did I say island? Oh well, you know what I meant. I’m sure this comes as no surprise to viewers of the show, cuz well, let’s face it… she kinda sucked.
Judge Len Goodman however had some nice parting words for the dearly departed Kendra; “Some flowers bloom early, some flowers bloom late, and you’ve been a late blossoming girl. The last few weeks you’ve really come on.” Awe, how sweet… *Gag* Hey don’t get me wrong, I’ve got nothing against the girl but a dancer she is not. Even she will admit it to herself, which is a good thing. “I’ve lasted seven weeks, which is seven weeks longer than I ever thought I would last. I want to thank Louis for sticking with me and not fighting me.” Now she can go back home to her son, and to her reality show. Adios Kendra! “Baby Hank, I’m coming home for you! | The Royal Couple Heads To Hollywood Posted: 03 May 2011 08:16 AM PDT
Biographer and royal watcher, Andrew Morton posted on his website today news that the recently wed royal couple, Prince William and Kate Middleton will be traveling to Hollywood on their upcoming first overseas trip as a married couple. The trip scheduled for mid-late June and ending sometime in July will first take them to Canada, where they will spend Canada Day, July 1st. The Canadian leg of their journey seems to be the longest with stops in Prince Edward Island, Quebec, Alberta and North West Territories, and lasting approximately 9 days in total. Then they pair will jet off to the California coast, and hit tinsel-town. I suspect that they will be the most talked about couple in Hollywood once they arrive. Morton goes on to speculate that perhaps the royal couple might look up friends Victoria and David Beckham who now call Los Angeles home. | Lindsay Lohan Does Community Service Braless (Photo) Posted: 03 May 2011 07:55 AM PDT Lindsay Lohan received a call from the Downtown Women’s Center stating that there was an opening for orientation. Lindsay jumped on the opportunity to get the ball rolling with her court ordered community service. Attire of choice? A see-through black tank top that revealed her nipples!  It’s not what she’s wearing, it’s where she’s wearing it. Lindsay only completed the orientation, the actual community service will happen later this week. |

Apparently Miley, grew up listening to and was influenced by the works of Nirvana front-man and songwriter Kurt Cobain. Hmm… ok?
“I have a lot of fans that tell me that I inspire them, and make them want to follow their dreams. So on this tour, I wanna be able to do the music that inspired me, that made me wanna be here on this stage tonight.” “It’s hard to be on the road, cuz you miss your family back home, and this song is something I always sing with my little brother… This song is for him.” And with those words, she breaks into her rendition of the Nirvana hit ‘Smells Like Teen Spirit‘. We sat down to chat with the talented blonde and even got a behind the scenes look at her rehearsal with New Kids on the Block and the Backstreet Boys from last week’s result show. Peta is one of the six professional dancers that make up the amazing DWTS dance troupe. You’ve seen the troupe shake their groove thing in many of the results shows this season. Born in New Zealand and raised Australia, Peta grew up studying classical ballet for 12 years and then took to ballroom dancing. After competing professionally in the ballroom arena, she fulfilled her lifelong goal of performing on Broadway in Burn the Floor. Peta was the lead female dancer in the show from 2009 until she left in 2010 to pursue a career in film and television. You can spot her almost weekly on this season’s Dancing With the Stars. We sat down with Peta to find out what it’s like to be part of the debut dance troupe on DWTS, her pre-show rituals, and much more! | Will Ferrell Shaves Conan O’Brien’s Beard (Video) Posted: 03 May 2011 05:50 AM PDT Will Ferrell promised to shave the beard off late-night host Conan O’Brien — or red “mistake” as Ferrell called it on Funny or Die. In a hilariously drawn-out segment, Ferrell played barber for the ‘Beardpocalypse’ and shaved off O’Brien’s whiskers mid-show. "I found an error. The error that I found is your beard. That thing's a huge mistake," Ferrell said in his first shaving warning to O'Brien.  Sure, there was some other big international news on Monday, but Ferrell only had one bearded man in mind. “There is nothing else going on in this country other than the fervor to shave that beard,” he said before the shaving segment went down. “I turned on the television last night to see if people were talking about it…There were people celebrating at the White House. There were people celebrating in Times Square. Chanting ‘U.S.A.! Shave the beard!’” “Yesterday, we took care of one maniac with a beard. Today, Will Ferrell will take care of another. #Beardpocalypse,” O’Brien tweeted Monday, referring to Osama bin Laden. After Ferrell tried his best to shave off O’Brien’s beard, a professional finished up the job during a commercial break. Devotees will remember O'Brien originally grew the beard during the writer's strike. He's had the beard on-and-off since then. |
