| Paula Abdul Hired as ‘X Factor’ Judge (Photo) Posted: 08 May 2011 10:03 PM PDT Paula Abdul and Simon Cowell were spotted arriving for the X Factor auditions at the Galen Centre in Los Angeles. The ‘X Factor‘ judging panel is complete, with the final chair to be filled by Paula Abdul, who just closed the deal in last-minute negotiations.  Abdul will take her seat alongside Simon Cowell, reuniting the former ‘Idol’ stars once again. Cheryl Cole and Antonio ‘L.A.’ Reid have already been named as the other ‘X Factor’ judges. Meanwhile, Pussycat Doll and former ‘Dancing With the Stars’ champ Nicole Scherzinger has been hired to host the U.S. talent competition when it premieres on Fox in September. |
| Demi Lovato Lashes Out At Cyber Bullies Posted: 08 May 2011 06:11 PM PDT Demi Lovato has lashed out at cyber-bullies. The actress recently spent a stint in rehab to get treatment for bulimia and bipolar disorder, and said people's judgmental views of eating disorders make it so hard to get better.  “I wish there wasn’t so much pressure on society to be thin. It makes recovery so much harder,” Demi Tweeted this weekend. “My heart goes out to any and all women who deal with this daily battle. I can’t stand it when people make fun of the diseases so many people struggle from.” She added: “I can’t stand it when people make fun of the diseases so many people struggle from. Not something to joke about,” Demi continued. “Along with making fun of illnesses or diseases, doing it over the internet only makes you more of a coward. Not to mention you’ve performed the act of cyber-bullying, something that is equally wrong and unacceptable.” |

Bieber played a troubled teen in a series of guest appearances on “CSI” this past winter and according to the CBS show’s star, Marg Helgenberger, he was “a brat.”  “Um. Justin Bieber wasn’t bad,” the actress said in an interview with French radio show Le Grand Direct des Medias on Friday. “He never acted before. I shouldn’t be saying this, but he was kind of a brat. He was very nice to me. But he locked one of the producers in a closet and he put his fist through a cake that was on the craft service table.” [Skip to the 2:33 mark] Sounds like he was being a little jerk to me. Somebody should have put him in time out. |
