| Robert Pattinson: ‘If I Were Invisible, I’d Get Really Drunk’ (Video) Posted: 21 Apr 2011 11:27 PM PDT Robert Pattinson sat down with USA Today, and actually gave one of the most relaxed interviews I’ve ever seen with the actor. One of the things he wishes? That his dog wouldn’t be afraid of doors… and not hold his pee in for too long (he likes to hold it).  Clad in a plaid button-down and jeans, and minus screaming fans, paparazzi, managers and studio minders, Pattinson let go of his shyness. The result was a very candid, and delightfully amusing interview. Robert also wants to sing and play guitar. Summit Entertainment is releasing Breaking Dawn, Part 1 this November, but Part 2 will not be released until November 2012. Meaning, no matter what other projects Pattinson takes on, the fandom and furor that surround the franchise are Pattinson’s to keep until roughly early 2013. |

The show, which is still being shopped around to the networks, would feature Lopez and hubby Marc Antony touring Latin America in search of the regions next big musical talent. Hmmm, that premise sounds familiar. Kind of like “Idol,” in fact. Only in Spanish. And called “Que Viva.” (At least that's the working title.) So the question is, if Lopez is launching her own reality series, will she stay on “Idol”? Because her contract expires at the end of the season. Of course, as previously mentioned, she's done a great job on the show, so the powers that be are sure to want her back. And frankly, if they weren't happy with her performance, why would they be so keen to give Lopez her own vehicle? It wouldn't be the first time an “Idol” judge had concurrent commitments, after all. (Think Randy Jackson and, of course, Simon Cowell.) My prediction is she'll be back on “Idol” next season, and take the Latin American world by storm. |
| Katy Perry & Kanye West Perform ‘E.T.’ On American Idol (Video) Posted: 21 Apr 2011 09:33 PM PDT Katy Perry and Kanye West performed “E.T.” on American Idol tonight, and they were awesome! Accompanied by her “extraterrestrial” dancers, Katy wore a white crown, a long cape, and a form-fitting bodysuit that flickered with pink LED lights.  Perry and West both have a history with “American Idol.” Perry chipped in as a guest judge during the early rounds in season nine, at one point threatening to throw a Coke in Kara DioGuardi‘s face. Stefano Langone, who’s been on the chopping block repeatedly, was eliminated from the competition. Seacrest called Stefano a contestant with an “amazing attitude each and every week” during the singer’s emotional send-off. |

Do you think Rupert is smoking weed or salvia?  The photo was allegedly leaked on Thursday, April 21st, and the picture was reportedly taken at a “Harry Potter” cast party. Do you think it is really him? I don’t remember Rupert being so buff. I wonder if the rest of the cast partook? |

Selena is joining Justin on the Asian part of his world tour and the two of them landed in Kuala Lumpur just a few hours ago. Local news snapped the couple once they reached the tarmac at Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA) this morning. There was massive amounts of security there, but that didn’t stop the photogs from snapping pics of the happy couple as they held hands through the terminal. Well, yesterday we told you Lindsay Lohan had kissed the chance of a role in the upcoming "Gotti: Three Generations" bio pic good-bye. Today, she said hello to a part in the movie, which is based on the exploits of New York's most illustrious crime families. But according to Variety, she won't be playing infamous mob boss John Gotti's daughter Victoria as expected. She has been cast instead as the Dapper Don's daughter-in-law, Kim Gotti. Kim is the wife of John Gotti, Jr., whose life is the basis for the film. The actresses signed to the role as part of a two-picture deal she inked with Fiore Films. Per the deal, she will also star in "Mob Street," based on a screenplay by Chazz Palminteri. “We’re very pleased to have Lindsay on-board for both of these films,” said producer Marc Fiore. “She has been very enthusiastic about the Gotti project, and after resuming discussions with her, we were impressed by her commitment to the film and felt she would be a perfect Kim Gotti.” This is the same guy that yesterday complained he was getting the run-around from Lohan's camp and said he was halting talks with the starlet because, "It just didn't work for me." Of course, he did leave the door open by adding, "maybe if Lindsay calls me up, we can talk about it." I wonder if she called him, or if she called in those "family connections"she's been bragging about. |

But that isn't the case, sources have told Us Weekly. "Bradley loves Jennifer as a friend," a friend of the couple claims. What's stopping that love from turning romantic? Apparently, Cooper's machismo. Or maybe it's his ego. "Bradley knows that by dating Jen, he’s be known as Mr. Jennifer Aniston," one of his "pals" explained. So why the sudden urge to reconnect? “They were looking at projects to work on together,” the source reported. Cooper and Aniston, 42, costarred in 2009's "He's Just Not That Into You." They were briefly linked before Cooper hooked up with Zellweger. That relationship fizzled in March, reportedly because the 36-year-old actor wasn't ready to tie the knot. |
| Nick Cannon Gives Out Home Phone Number On Radio! Posted: 21 Apr 2011 11:55 AM PDT So does this mean that Mariah Carey will be raising her twins on her own? One might speculate that she would murder her husband Nick Cannon for giving out their home phone number on the air of his 92.3 NOW morning show earlier today. On the program this morning, Nick teased that he would miss his fans and on-air family while on paternity leave from the radio station, and that to keep in touch he would give out his home number so that people could get in touch with him. Well did he do it? Damned straight he did! He even called pregnant wife Mariah on air to prove that it was his home number that was given out! He let his wife know what he’d done and warned her that she might want to unplug the phone for awhile because they would be expecting hundreds of phone calls to begin soon. Hell, I even called the number and left my well wishes for the couple. You can check out part of the broadcast from this morning on NOW 92.3′s website… Note the tone in Mariah’s voice when she answered the phone. She seemed to take her hubby’s faux pas in stride while on air, but you can bet he’ll be getting into some serious doo-doo when he gets home… |
| Kanye West’s Charitable Foundation Closes Doors Posted: 21 Apr 2011 11:52 AM PDT Four years after it was established in an effort to reduce high school drop out rates, the Kanye West Foundation has closed its doors. Why? No one knows. According to The Boombox, news of the closure broke after the charitable organization's former executive director, Joseph Collins, emailed colleagues to say he was out of a job and inform them that the phone had been disconnected.  “I am reaching out to let you know that the Kanye West Foundation (kanyewestfoundation.org) has officially closed it doors after a successful 4+ years of programming and events [sic],” Collins wrote in the email. “It has been an incredible experience working with Kanye and the board to realize his mother’s vision and I am honored to have been given the opportunity to lead the Foundation.” The organization's website is still live. According to the site, its mission is – or was – to "help combat the severe dropout problem in schools across the United States by partnering with community organizations to provide under-served youth access to music production programs." Kanye's mother, Donda West, is credited with founding the organization. She died in 2007 from complications related to a surgical procedure. The foundation reportedly raised an average of $492,000 a year primarily from companies with which West did business. Madison Square Garden, for example, dolled out $151,754 to the charity. The clothing company Karmaloop reportedly anted up $20,000 for the cause. It's unclear if West himself contributed any of his own money to the organization. While there is some speculation that Donda West's untimely death may have contributed to the demise of the foundation, no one knows for sure why the organization went belly up so suddenly. |

The always-surprising ‘American Idol‘ contestant gave a rocking performance but as he approached the judges’ table, he slowly came within inches of Lopez’ face.  In that moment, he stole a quick kiss on her temple before finishing up, as she blushed and smiled in surprise. “See now, Casey’s not playing fair,” she said. Steven Tyler was so worked up about the performance that he forgot he was on live television. “There [are] millions of people in America that are really angry, because you pissed them off because you’re so f****** good!” he shouted. I thought it was adorable — Are you a fan of Casey’s? Not far behind Casey Abrams was Stefano Langone, the contestants’ pick for the group’s biggest flirt. |
| TMZ’s Website Down – Was It Hacked? Posted: 21 Apr 2011 09:50 AM PDT So I went over to the TMZ website about 15 minutes ago, and well, it wasn’t looking the way it should. I usually use Firefox to do my web surfing, and got a message saying that TMZ was an “attack page”. What does that mean? It means that their site was hacked!
TMZ big boss Harvey Levin just tweeted “We are having technical problems with the site…should be up and running shortly #tmz”. Uh huh. Hackers, aren’t they a wonderful thing? NOT! Maybe it’s the same hackers that got into the private accounts of celebrities like Vanessa Hudgens? Hmm… I think Harvey should call in the FBI on this case as well. After all, he IS a lawyer… |
| ‘The Change-Up’ Red Band Trailer (Video) Posted: 21 Apr 2011 07:47 AM PDT Ryan Reynolds, Jason Bateman, and Olivia Wilde star in the new comedy The Change-Up, about two friends who trade places with one another after making a wish. Sound familiar? Well, it should. This is the same principle concept for Disney‘s Freaky Friday films.
I know, comparing it to Freaky Friday isn’t really a selling point. BUT this isn’t a squeaky clean Disney movie, is it? The Change-Up sees womanizer Ryan change bodies with daddy homemaker Jason, and hilarity does ensue. Just check out the trailer, but be warned… it’s the Red Band version, so expect tons of swearing and vulgarity. [Video is NSFW] The Change-Up hits theaters August 5th, and will be up against Rise of the Planet of the Apes. Who will take the box office that weekend? I don’t know, but I’ll be in line for BOTH films. |
