"Usher requested a table next to Rihanna," said an insider. "She arrived before Usher, with her bodyguards. Then a bit later Usher and his entourage arrived." If you think about it — they both only have one name, but together they are two. |

Charlie Sheen learned that defeat actually was an option in court today. The former “Two & a Half Men” star lost his custody battle with estranged wife Brooke Mueller for primary placement of their 2 yr old twins, Max and Bob. Sheen and Mueller faced off before L.A. Superior Court Judge Hank Goldberg where Sheen's lawyer, Mark Gross, lobbied that Mueller was unfit to care for the children. Her recent erratic behavior – hocking jewelry at a pawn shop, soliciting urine samples and refusing a drug test – and her decision to enter rehab over the weekend gave Sheen's legal team the ammunition they needed to petition the court. After all, that drug test Mueller refused was one of the conditions of the custody agreement the couple reached in March – which gave her primary custody plus $55,000 a month in support. TMZ reported that Mueller arrived first to the L.A. court where the custody hearing took place, followed shortly thereafter by Sheen. Members of the press were cleared from the courtroom not long after the proceedings began, however, when Goldberg announced that sensitive “questions of abuse” would be discussed. A source inside the courtroom told RadarOnline the judge decided in Mueller's favor. She will be allowed to keep primary custody of the two boys. The kids will stay with her mother, Moira Fiore, while she completes rehab at an undisclosed facility. Mueller, who the source described as "unsteady on her feet" and "glassy-eyed" was smiling broadly as she exited the courthouse. She had no comment for the media. Sheen departed for the airport directly from the courthouse. Destination? Chicago, to continue his "My Violent Torpedo of Truth/Defeat is Not an Option" tour. (If he had won custody, he intended to take the boys on tour with him, despite ex-wife Denise Richards‘ offer to take care of them in his absence.) No word whether Sheen saw the twins while he was in town. They reportedly spent the day in the park with their nanny while their parents duked it out in court. |
| ‘Boardwalk Empire’ star Paz de la Huerta Charged With Assault Posted: 19 Apr 2011 11:12 AM PDT
The charges were filed against the "Boardwalk Empire" star by the Manhattan District Attorney's Office in a New York courtroom earlier today, TMZ reports. She faces two counts of 3rd degree assault, 4th degree criminal possession of a weapon, attempted assault and harassment. She is due back in court on May 19. During the proceeding, the judge also handed down a temporary restraining order against de la Huerta, which prohibits her from all contact with Swetra. Including on Facebook! It all stems from an encounter the two had at the Standard Hotel on March 22, when an inebriated de la Huerta took offense at comments her model rival made about her intoxication. (Swetra was reportedly jealous that a male friend was hitting on the HBO starlet.) De la Huerta threw a drink at the former reality star and then socked her in the face. Swetra, who was comforted by pal Lindsay Lohan while de la Huerta was ushered out by security, pressed charges. De la Huerta apparently made matters worse by running her mouth about Swetra during her time in the clink. Prosecutors told the judge she said, "I’m a REAL actress — HBO! She’s a publicity seeker, a FAKE actress." |
| Demi Lovato Admits She Began Cutting Herself At Age 11 Posted: 19 Apr 2011 10:22 AM PDT Demi Lovato has been a cutter since she was 11 years old. The 18-year-old revealed this startling detail on "20/20" while talking about the time she spent in a treatment facility last year, TMZ reports.  She signed herself into the treatment center last November, ostensibly to obtain treatment for "emotional and psychological issues." Since completing her treatment, however, she has opened up about her real reasons for entering the facility – namely her struggles with bulimia and cutting. Lovato said she became a cutter at age 11, self-mutilating her wrists as "a way of expressing my own shame, of myself, on my own body.” “I was matching the inside to the outside," she tried to explain. "And there were some times where my emotions were just so built up, I didn’t know what to do. The only way that I could get instant gratification was through an immediate release on myself." Earlier this month, she also opened up about her battle with bulimia in an interview with Seventeen. Why does she feel compelled to speak candidly about these painful topics? Lovato says she hopes that by sharing her story, she can help “open up the eyes of so many young girls” who face similar issues. It’s tragic, really, that someone so young could feel that kind of pressure. |

The very pregnant actress demonstrated the latter during an interview with ET correspondent Samantha Harris. The two were discussing Hudson's upcoming film, "Something Borrowed," when talk turned to babies. Hudson is pregnant with her second child, her first with her British rocker boyfriend, Matthew Bellamy. One of Harris' first questions was if the expectant mother knew the sex of her new baby. The expectant mother replied in the negative, but offered to try deducing that tidbit of information through a traditional technique called pregnancy dowsing. This age-old practice involves suspending a pendant over the belly. The pendulum like movement of the suspended object is interpreted to reveal whether or not the unborn baby is a boy or a girl. Hudson told Harris the method proved accurate during her first pregnancy, when she gave birth to a baby boy. Ryder, her son with ex-flame Chris Robinson, is now 7. This time the reading indicated the gender to be female. Hudson also told Extra's Renee Bargh she believes her second child will be a girl. “It seems like my family female lineage… she’s just wild in there, just dancing all over,” she said. If her prediction is right, older brother Ryder may be disappointed. He's apparently hoping for a little brother, not a sister. On her new curves: On being pregnant: “Something Borrowed,” in which Hudson co-stars with Ginnifer Goodwin and John Krasinski, opens in theaters May 6. |

In the book, ‘A Helluva High Note,’ DioGuradi opens up about a family friend’s son who repeatedly molested her when she was only 11. “On one particular day, he took me into the back shed of his house and put his hands all over my breasts and vagina,” she writes. “I remember freezing and not knowing what to do.” DioGuardi, whose new Bravo show ‘Platinum’ debuts next month, also reveals how a well-known producer date raped her after dinner. “Within a few hours, he was on top of me, pumping, sweating, and speaking to me in Spanish, not a word of which I could understand,” she writes. The former ‘Idol’ judge said she never told anyone for fear it would affect her career. DioGuardi also reveals in her book that a “hugely successful artist” sexually harassed her a few years later. She was invited on a three-day songwriting trip but instead of actually writing songs, “the trip’s activities consisted of watching Russian porn, scavenging around the kitchen for food [and] leering at two strippers … as they performed sex acts in the living room.” She also discusses her struggles with getting pregnant during her final season of ‘Idol.’ She ended up asking the producers to let her out of her contract. “I wanted a child and there was no way I could get pregnant under the stress of eighteen-hour work days and live TV,” she writes. “I had undergone three unsuccessful rounds of IVF during Season 9.” Funny how these stories surface when books are coming out. |

On dating: Although he just reunited with an ex, he cockily refers to his tweet-mates Kendall Jenner and Selena Gomez as "girls for the future." My eye, though," he ads, "is set on Miley." On modeling: Patrick's doing it to "inject some capital" into his clothing company, Project360, and to "get comfortable infront of the camera." But modeling "isn't going to be my permanent job. There's a lot of other things I want to do." On growing up in a political family: "I want to have fun in life. No, politics isn't on the list." Is Patrick living up to his parents expectations? "My mom raised me with the idea of doing public service, and I definitely want to go in that direction. But I also want to follow in my dad's entrepreneurial footsteps." Who was that mystery woman? None other than Victoria Secret model Candice Swanepoel. "[S]he met Zac for the first time at the Roxbury that night," a source close to the uber-thin lingerie model told Allie Is Wired. According to the source, who claims to be a friend of Swanpoel's, the two were introduced by a mutual friend. While other sources have said there was no PDA between the two, this one claims there were some very public displays by the end of the night. Swanepoel made headlines just a few days later when photos from a Victoria's Secret swimwear shoot in L.A. revealed the South African beauty had lost a startling amount of weight. | Beyonce’s ‘Girls Who Run The World’ Leaks (First Listen!) Posted: 19 Apr 2011 07:32 AM PDT Photos of Beyonce on the set of her latest music video turned up online last week, and now her new tune, ‘Girls (Who Run the World),’ has found its way onto the internet. The song is reportedly the lead single from B’s as-yet-untitled fourth solo studio album.  Beyonce is notoriously secretive when it comes to her tunes and is probably less than thrilled that the track leaked online. [via dlisted] Francis Lawrence, who’s directing the video, admitted as much about the photo leak from the set. “She would probably have me shot if I said anything,” he told MTV. “Some stuff spilled out, but she wasn’t happy about it, so I’ve been sworn to secrecy.” What do you think of her new track? |
| Debbie Gibson & Tiffany Will Tour Together! (Photos & Video) Posted: 19 Apr 2011 05:58 AM PDT When I was a kid in the 1980′s (yes, I’m old) there were two teen pop-tarts tearing up the charts; a talented singer song-writer Debbie Gibson, and her equally talented contemporary, Tiffany. For those of you not old enough to remember, let’s just say they were the Britney and Christina of their time.
The dueling divas were always pitted against each other for album sales and MTV airtime play, much the way their two modern versions have been. But the feud, if there was one, has long since past, and the lovely grown up songstresses have teamed up to offer 80′s fans and nostalgia buffs a chance to recapture their youth. (It’s electrifying!)
