| Angelina Jolie Pregnant Again OR Adopting Another Baby? Posted: 05 Apr 2011 05:23 PM PDT During a U.N. goodwill trip to the Tunisia-Libya border this week, Angelina Jolie was photographed showing a tattoo of a new set of map coordinates on her arm, just underneath tattoos of coordinates of the birthplaces of her six children with Brad Pitt. Back in December, Jolie told Larry King that she and Pitt are “always open” to the idea of adding another tyke to the organized chaos of their family of six, but she insisted they had “no plans at the moment.”  Yet, there’s a seventh line of coordinates. Who’s that?! A source close to Jolie warns not to read too much into her skin art, telling People magazine that all adoption speculation is false. Other reports claim it bears the longitude and latitude of Brad Pitt's birthplace, Oklahoma. |
| Angelina Jolie’s Visit Incites Riot in Tunisia Posted: 05 Apr 2011 04:40 PM PDT Angelina Jolie caused quite a stir in Tunisia today in the course of her duties as a goodwill ambassador for the United Nations Refugee Agency, UNHCR. During a visit to a refugee camp near the Tunisia/Libya border, the actress was reportedly greeted by Libyan refugees chanting, "Angelina Jolie, we want to die for you!" “The people were beyond excited to see her. There were thousands of refugees screaming her name and chanting. The crowd was closing in on her and her security detail; it was intense,” reported an X17 photographer who witnessed the event.  All that excitement, unfortunately, caused uneasiness about the star's security, and ultimately her humanitarian visit was cut short. As news spread of her imminent departure, however, the situation became even worse. "When people found out Angelina was leaving early, they had mixed reaction. Some were upset but still enthusiastic to have her there," the X17 photographer reported. "Angelina was forced to find shelter in a tent and she had to be protected by 30 military personal with machine guns. Angelina really took a risk by going all the way to the Libyan border.” After that, the plans for the rest of her trip – which included a stop at a Moroccan hospital elsewhere in Tunisia – were scrapped and Jolie returned to the nation's capital, Tunis. From there, she will return to Paris.  Jolie was on a mission to urge support for roughly 440,000 Libyans who have fled their homeland since violence began in February. Nearly half of those displaced people have found there way to Tunisia. “The international community has done well to reinforce Tunisia’s remarkable relief effort,” said Jolie, in a statement issued by UNHCR. “But with 2,000 people still crossing each day, we cannot let the funding dry up and need to sustain the momentum.” The actress has put her money where her mouth is with the effort. According to the UNHCR, The Jolie-Pitt Foundation has contributed to the evacuation effort by both paying for the cost to evacuate 177 refugees by air and purchasing an ambulance to help transport wounded Libyans from the border into Tunisia. Not only did Jolie’s visit spark near riot, but a photo of the star has tongues wagging as well. It looks like there is another entry on the list of coordinates tattooed on her upper left arm. Does it herald a seventh addition to the Jolie-Pitt clan? |
| Robert Pattinson & Kristen Stewart STILL Together! Posted: 05 Apr 2011 02:03 PM PDT Never fear, Twilight fans, rumors of a split between Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart are pure fiction, according to Celebuzz. The Daily Mirror has reported the pair is "on a break" while Pattinson makes the rounds promoting his new film "Water for Elephants," and Stewart pines away. But Celebuzz’s sources say that's not the case.  The celebrity gossip site's studio insider counters The Mirror's claim that things are "rocky" between Pattinson and Stewart because of their "hectic" schedules and the time they spend apart. "They are still together. This is nothing new, they have been apart many times before," Celebuzz's source reports. "Rob and Kristen are both very supportive of each other's careers." Despite their continued commitment to one another, there's no guarantee that Stewart will be on Pattinson's arm for the L.A. premiere of "Water for Elephants." She might have a conflict with filming for "Breaking Dawn," which is supposed to wrap sometime mid-April. |
| Vince Neil Charged With Domestic Violence For Poking Ex Posted: 05 Apr 2011 01:52 PM PDT Mötley Crüe bad boy Vince Neil is in trouble with the law once again. This time he finds himself charged with battery and disorderly conduct. The charges are a result of an incident at the Las Vegas Hilton last month, when the rocker allegedly poked his 39 year-old ex-girlfriend Alicia Jacobs in the chest with his finger. (Hard enough to bruise, according to pictures posted by TMZ.) He also hurled obscenities at Jacobs and her friends, including Las Vegas Sun columnist John Katsilometes who kindly provided a first hand account.  According to Katsilometes, Neil repeatedly shouted, "F*ck You." Funny, I didn't have him pegged as a Cee Lo Green fan. Since Jacobs is his ex, the charges are considered domestic violence. (The two reportedly split just a couple of weeks prior to the incident.) Unfortunately, it's not the first time the 50-year-old Mötley Crüe front man has been on the wrong side of the Las Vegas law. He served 10 days in the Clark County Detention Center in February as a result of a drunk driving arrest last year. Apparently, he's still on probation, which might not bode well for him when he heads to court on May 2.  His lawyer, David Chesnoff, has already told The Associated Press that his client will plead not guilty on the misdemeanor charges. But if he's found in violation of his probation, who knows what will happen. Who knew poking an ex could get you in so much trouble! |
| Heidi Montag and Danielle Staub Filming Together Posted: 05 Apr 2011 11:27 AM PDT Heidi Montag was spotted having lunch with Danielle Staub at Café Med in Los Angeles yesterday, while filming for their latest project? According to the Daily Mail, the duo was also spotted with Jake Pavelka. Details on the show are being kept under wraps, but it’s safe to assume the group was looking for publicity.  It has also been rumored that Heidi Montag has joined the fifth season cast of Celebrity Rehab and the company she’s keeping, points in that direction. (addicted to surgery?) Jake Pavelka recently danced his way from ‘The Bachelor’ to ‘Dancing With the Stars.’ He split from his chosen fiancee Vienna Girardi. And of course Danielle Staub became famous for being a lightning rod of controversy on ‘The Real Housewives of New Jersey.’ Since leaving the Bravo reality series she’s been hosting ‘Social,’ a new series on the appropriately titled WealthTV. Staub tweeted after her meeting: “Had so much fun today!!! @heidimontag it’s wine30 lol!!” Pavelka added this on his Twitter account: “Crazy fun day of shooting!” Losers… all three of you! |
| Ashley Judd Writes Book About Past Sexual Abuse (Video) Posted: 05 Apr 2011 11:22 AM PDT Hollywood A-lister Ashley Judd spoke with The Today Show to discuss her new memoir entitled ‘All That Is Bitter And Sweet‘ which chronicles her abusive childhood. The book talks about her life growing up in the musical Judd family where “there was always marijuana inside the house”.
When she was very young her parents split and her mother hooked up with a man that Judd describes as an “abusive full-blown heroin addict with a criminal record.” The memoir also recounts an event that left her scared and severely depressed. Her sexual abuse at the hands of an older man that she had known. “An old man everyone knew beckoned me into a dark, empty corner of the business and offered me a quarter for the pinball machine at the pizza place if I’d sit on his lap.” “He opened his arms, I climbed up, and I was shocked when he suddenly cinched his arms around me, squeezing me and smothering my mouth with his, jabbing his tongue deep into my mouth.” This is so disturbing, I can’t even comment. |
| Keanu Reeves Talks ‘Bill And Ted 3′ (Video) Posted: 05 Apr 2011 07:39 AM PDT Our most excellent Ted, Keanu Reeves spoke with MTV recently about the revival of a third installment of the popular Bill And Ted’s franchise. “I believe the writers are six weeks away from a draft” says Reeves, “no pressure, guys!”
HOLY CRAP! I don’t know about you guys, but I totally loved the Bill and Ted films. Excellent Adventure had me saying things like “NO WAY?”, “WAY!”. It had an excellent soundtrack, and was just plain funny as all hell. So the prospect of having a 3rd movie come out is pretty darned exciting for me. In case you’re wondering what the film will be about, Reeves didn’t divulge much, but he did say that it revolves around The Wyld Stallyns writing “the song that saves the world”. Sir Elton John let it slip this past weekend during his appearance on "Saturday Night Live' that Gaga is indeed godmother to Zachary, the son he shares with partner David Furnish. The lucky little guy was born this Christmas, but to date the legendary musician has been mum over their choice of godparent. On Saturday night, however, he unveiled the tidbit during his opening monologue, which was rife with jokes about his new parental status.  “For those of you concerned that we are unusual parents, don’t worry,” he said. “It’s not like we are the only two people involved in the child’s life. His godmother is Lady Gaga. That is true. It’s not a joke. Lady Gaga is his actual godmother, which is ironic, because I’ve always said that Mars ain’t the kind of place to raise your kids. And Gaga loves Mars. She says Mars has good schools and great discos.” Gaga herself had previously refrained from commenting, telling BBC radio 1 that it wasn't her place to make such a revelation. “I don’t really want to reveal anything,” she said. “They’re going to make many lovely announcements about their beautiful son Zachary. I’m too much of a lady to talk about that on the air.” Furnish, however, gushed earlier this year about how well suited she is for the role. “She’s all about inclusiveness and tolerance,” he said. “She believes that you can be whoever you want to be and that we don’t have to live in a world of conformity and that we can all [benefit] from individuality. That’s the best message in the world. The freedom to be who you are, do what you want and love who you want to love.” [Starts at 3:39 mark] Awwww…isn't that sweet! I'm inclined to think Lady Gaga will be the perfect fairy godmother. After all, let's face it, the whole godparent thing is less about being a moral compass these days than it is about the gift potential. I totally see Zachary as Patrick Dennis to her Auntie Mame. | Maksim Chmerkovskiy Drops Kirstie Alley On DWTS (Video) Posted: 05 Apr 2011 05:33 AM PDT On last night’s Dancing With The Stars, dancing duo Kirstie Alley and her pro partner Maksim Chmerkovskiy had a little miss-step… which led to Alley falling to the ground. When asked what happened, Maks replied, “My thigh just gave out.. it had nothing to do with her” (Alley). Hmm.
The twosome got their act together though and continued their rumba for the judges. They were praised for their ability to get back up, dust themselves off and keep going. According to the judges, they came back from the mishap better than ever. Check out video. That just had to suck for Kirstie. No doubt the situation will fuel the fire of comedians. When the competition began, Kirstie was called a ‘pig’ by comedian George Lopez. Maks and Kirstie managed to scrape up a 21 out of 30 possible points for last night’s performance. Not too shabby considering… |
