First Look: Julianne Moore as Hillary Clinton (Photo) Posted: 06 Apr 2011 03:47 PM PDT Julianne Moore was cast to portray Hillary Clinton in HBO’s ‘The Special Relationship,’ before dropping out due to scheduling conflicts with ‘The Kids Are All Right.’ The role eventually went to Hope Davis, who played the former first lady opposite Dennis Quaid‘s Bill Clinton, but not before Moore completed a makeup test for the film, according to BlackBook.com. They got the part in her hair right. What do you think? It’s too bad we never got a chance to see Moore bring the role of Mrs. Clinton to life. Julianne Moore is set to play Sarah Palin in the upcoming HBO adaptation of Game Change.

Miley Cyrus Back With Liam Hemsworth Posted: 06 Apr 2011 03:05 PM PDT Since Miley Cyrus slipped that sly little tidbit in about not being single for the Australian leg of her "Gypsy Heart" tour, everyone's been dying to know who the teen star is dating. If you thought she had a new man in her life, you're wrong. Turns out she's back with former co-star Liam Hemsworth. If you'll recall, she and the Australian actor dated for more than a year after they met on the set of "The Last Song." The couple split last August, but it looks like they rekindled their romance. What sparked the reunion? Surprisingly enough, the credit goes to Tish and Billy Ray Cyrus. Their reconciliation seems to have inspired the "Hannah Montana" actress to do the same. "They started talking more at the same time Miley's parents were mending things," a source told HollywoodLife.com. "They started getting back together around Valentine's Day and are now back on as boyfriend and girlfriend." Good for Miley, I suppose. At least now she has someone's shoulder to cry on as she comes to terms with the whole inflatable sex doll fiasco. Even if she is successful in sewing the novelty item's manufacturer, Pipedream Products, she still has to live with the knowledge that thousands of "Finally Miley" doll created in her license are already in the hands of perverts around the globe. That's just icky.

‘The Hangover 2′ Trailer Gets Pulled From Theaters (Video) Posted: 06 Apr 2011 02:26 PM PDT The muchly anticipated sequel to the blockbuster comedy The Hangover hits theaters this May 26th. However, the trailer which was released last week has been pulled from theaters for not meeting with MPAA standards. The questionable scene involves a monkey, a fake wiener and teeth… The Hangover 2 is rated R and it’s trailer has been showing in front of Source Code starring Jake Gyllenhaal which is rated PG-13. Near they very end of the hilarious trailer is a moment when the boys are all in the back of a truck and the monkey is biting on a fake penis (2:18). (Actually a water bottle tucked under the man’s shorts) The revamped trailer will be back in theaters on April 15th. No word on which film(s) it will be running in front of. Are the MPAA just doing their jobs, or are they being too nit-picky? Let me know your thoughts in the comments section! source

Jersey Shore’s Italy Trip On Hold Posted: 06 Apr 2011 12:07 PM PDT It looks like the cast of MTV's The Jersey Shore won't be heading off to Italy this month as planned. All I can say is thank-freaking-god. Americans have a bad enough rap overseas, without these clowns perpetuating any more stereotypes. Unfortunately, their little "invasion" has only been delayed. Apparently, the show's producers have met resistance from Italian hotels and nightclubs who have no interest in allowing MTV's cameras – or the raucous cast members -in. (Smart move on their part. My guess is they've seen the show.) There is also the little matter of a contract dispute. Apparently, several of the controversial show's stars are holding out for more money. “Several of the housemates haven’t signed their contracts and until they do, the cast can’t go to Italy,” an insider told RadarOnline.com. Who's holding out? The Situation, JWoww, Pauly D and Snooki, of course. “The cast was meant to leave on April 18, but now with the contact troubles, they won’t be leaving until May,” RadarOnline's source reported. When that day comes, Florence better be ready. Rumor has it the Tuscan capital is the new Seaside Heights. I can just see the headlines now: Snooki Does Tuscany. My sincere sympathy to the Italians.

The 42 year-old diva looks ready to pop in the "belly-baring" pics. And basically, she is. Her twins – a boy and a girl – are due within a few weeks. Carey hasn't been shy about showing off her baby bump. Just last week, she tweeted a photo of her painted belly, bearing a pink and blue butterfly design. Meanwhile, Carey's much-younger husband, Nick Cannon, has more of a modest streak. Just yesterday, the 30-year-old former Nickelodeon star dished on his radio show about a series of "artistic" nude photos the couple took. Their intention was to display the pictures in their home as a reminder of the pregnancy, but based on what father-to-be told his "Rollin' with Nick Cannon" listeners, it sounds like he's having second thoughts. His concern, it appears, is having his kids (and their future friends) see the nudie pics. “It’s a little nasty,” he said. “I mean, have you ever seen your parents naked?” “I don’t want my naked booty out there for everyone to see!” Cannon said. Wifey doesn’t seem to mind.

Sunday marked the last bit of family quality time the Maddens will have in a while, as Joel headed to Asia for some new musical ventures. Crystal’s still got it. The actor, who’s been noticeably absent from the silver screen for a few year, joined Twitter to hype the video, calling it his “new film” on Monday. “JD Salinger once told me, “If you want to keep in touch with your audience…tweet.” Here I am. Look for my new film on @FunnyOrDie April 6.” ‘When Harry Met Sally’ fans will recognize lots of reworked scenes and dialogue from the rom-com classic. Britney Spears Debuts ‘Till The World Ends’ (Video) Posted: 06 Apr 2011 08:08 AM PDT Britney Spears debuted the video for her latest single, ‘Till The World Ends,’ last night, and it reveals a glimmer of the Spears of Yesteryear. In the video, the world is headed for destruction, with the intro stating it’s December 21, 2012, as asteroids fall from the sky. However, Spears and her group of glistening, heavy-breathing friends decide to do what they do best: dance until the world ends. Yeah, I just thought of Madonna too. As sunlight penetrates the dark sky and filters down, Spears sings, “See the sunlight / we ain’t stopping / keep on dancing / till the world ends / if you feel it / let it happen/ keep on dancing / till the world ends.” As the party continues in the warm yellow light, the video for “Slave 4 U” certainly comes to mind. Do you love it, or do you hate it? In other Britney Spears news, as far as rumors of a pending marriage, Britney told Us, “We have such a great time together!” Spears tells Us exclusively. “He makes me laugh, and we are so comfortable being ourselves.” Marriage plans? “Maybe,” she teases. “Never say never!”

Justin Bieber’s Doppleganger Sings Better (Video) Posted: 06 Apr 2011 07:21 AM PDT If it weren’t for their very different voices, we’d find it nearly impossible to tell the difference YouTube singer Dani Shay and her celebrity doppelganger, Justin Bieber. Shay, one of the most uncanny Bieber lookalikes the world has seen yet, has the Internet buzzing over this cover of Eminem’s “Love the Way You Lie” on YouTube. The resemblance to the Biebs… is uncanny. Strumming on acoustic guitar (much like Bieber himself does), Shay tackles both Rihanna and Em’s parts of the song, shifting from the heartfelt chorus to the strident verses and back. It’s probably the closest that Eminem and Bieber will come to collaborating together, and although Shay’s actual performance is not half bad, that’s the last thing that will have people talking. Would you want to actually look like the Biebs?

She’s back! Yesterday marked her 20th birthday, and she’s been tweeting all about it. “goodbye teens.. HELLO 20′s!!!” she tweeted in honor of her birthday. The actress also shared with her Twitter followers, that she got a couple of sweet treats from her nearly three-year-old daughter Maddie in celebration of the milestone. “Just got serenaded by Maddie’s preschool class- no present will top that!!!” she wrote. On Saturday, Britney Spears‘ little sis tweeted a photo of her and daughter Maddie playing dress-up with the caption, “What else do you do on your 20th birthday weekend?” Spears ended her relationship with Maddie’s father, Casey Aldridge, last fall, but continues to live in Louisiana. Happy Birthday Jamie!

Teen Pregnancy Pays – If You’re Bristol Palin Posted: 06 Apr 2011 06:19 AM PDT Apparently getting knocked up at the age of 18 can pay – if you're Bristol Palin. Palin became a cautionary tale during her mother Sarah Palin's unsuccessful bid for Vice President in 2008. (Some say her ill-timed teen pregnancy derailed her mom's campaign, but the then Alaska governor managed to do that well enough on her own.) But now it's paying off for her – literally – to the tune of $262,000. According to The Philadelphia Examiner, that's how much Palin banked in 2009 as spokesperson for The Candie's Foundation's teen pregnancy prevention campaign. (She earned about that from her appearance on “Dancing with the Stars,” as well.) Not too shabby… Others who have lent their celebrity to the cause include Hayden Panettiere, Beyoncé, Ciara, Jenny McCarthy, Vanessa Minnillo, Ashley Tisdale, Hilary Duff, Ashlee Simpson, Usher, Rachel Bilson, and Teddy Geiger. No word if any of them received similar pay outs.
