‘Water For Elephants’ Trailer Debuts (Video) Posted: 15 Dec 2010 07:57 PM PST Water for Elephants, the new film starring Robert Pattinson, Reese Witherspoon and Christopher Waltz premieres April 15th 2011 nationwide. The brand new trailer for the film was released on the Apple trailers site today, and we have it for you. Check it out! Official Synopsis: "When Jacob Jankowski, recently orphaned and suddenly adrift, jumps onto a passing train, he enters a world of freaks, drifters, and misfits, a second-rate circus struggling to survive during the Great Depression, making one-night stands in town after endless town. A veterinary student who almost earned his degree, Jacob is put in charge of caring for the circus menagerie. It is there that he meets Marlena, the beautiful young star of the equestrian act, who is married to August, the charismatic but twisted animal trainer. He also meets Rosie, an elephant who seems untrainable until he discovers a way to reach her. Water for Elephants is illuminated by a wonderful sense of time and place. It tells a story of a love between two people that overcomes incredible odds in a world in which even love is a luxury that few can afford." ‘Teen Mom’ Amber Portwood Pregnant Again Posted: 15 Dec 2010 02:38 PM PST If “Teen Mom” star Amber Portwood really is pregnant again, then she may want to lay off the Snooki look with the orange super glow that she’s sporting. “In Touch Weekly” reports that Amber has another fetus taking up residence in her uterus, but doesn’t know who the baby’s daddy is. Stay classy you! What’s worse is that we already know how much of a temper this girl has….That, and she’d lost custody of her daughter Leah for a short time once already. She stepped out with her new boyfriend, Clinton Yunker, last week. “Pop Eater” reports: Despite the acrimonious nature of her relationship with Shirley, Portwood is allegedly hoping that he, and not her current boyfriend, Clinton Yunker, is the father. “She thinks they’re meant to be together,” says Star’s source. While Portwood loves being a mother, and has the gigantic stomach tattoo to prove it, she’s not ready for another child. “Amber is scared to death about what’s to come,” the source tells Star. “She adores Leah, but she doesn’t really want to be tied down with another baby.” People who want to have children should have an I.Q. test prior to being allowed to procreate. Talk about an odd couple! Perhaps she just needs a good guy who’s nice to her? And maybe, if we’re lucky, he’ll keep her away from doing any more reality shows? It doesn’t hurt to hope, right? According to a snitch close to the new couple, they “have been neighbors for years. They have a lot in common and are taking things slowly.” The couple were said to have enjoyed a nice breakfast at the Marmalade Cafe in California on Sunday morning. Michael C. Hall Cheats With Julia Stiles? Posted: 15 Dec 2010 12:03 PM PST Michael C. Hall shocked us all by filing for divorce from his wife, Jennifer Carpenter, after being married for two years. She stood by his side through the cancer he suffered from, and now they’re calling it quits with their marriage, citing irreconcilable differences, of course. According to some, perhaps Jennifer couldn’t reconcile the idea that he was hooking up on the sly…Perhaps with a co-star? Some think that Michael was knocking the boots with someone that he got close to on-screen. Lainey Gossip reports: I mentioned yesterday that there are a few more details about one of the recent splits announced in Hollywood this week. Turns out there was someone else: his love interest this season on his tv show. Their chemistry was so crazy and so evident to everyone that writer and producers, seeing it play out on set, actually cranked up their sex scenes to capture it for show. Her career has seen a resurgence since. Eventually the two fell in love. They were together, very close, at a Halloween party in New York this fall hosted by a famously controversial writer (this isn't a super important detail) and those who observed them that night are not surprised now that he's ended it with his wife. Melissa Gilbert: ‘Miley Cyrus Was Smoking Pot’ Posted: 15 Dec 2010 07:57 AM PST Melissa Gilbert may have grown up in a time without camera phones and the 24-hour news cycle, but she’s in the camp that believes Miley Cyrus knew exactly what she was doing when she allowed a friend to videotape her smoking from a bong recently. “These days, everyone with a cellphone is a paparazzo,” Gilbert told AOL News. “How high do you have to be to let a friend film you? I think she wanted to get caught.” The former star of ‘Little House on the Prairie’ and spokeswoman for The Partnership at DrugFree.org thinks Cyrus is being too reckless after smoking salvia … or whatever it was that got her so loopy that night. “That’s bull—-!” Gilbert said. “I think it was marijuana.” The 46-year old actress who played Laura Ingalls Wilder on the famed 1970s television show doesn’t think Cyrus is the ultimate problem child, but still thinks kids need to look at this incident as a valuable lesson about drug abuse. “Hopefully, these kids in the public eye like Cyrus and Heath Ledger are cautionary tales,” Gilbert said. Jon Favreau Says No To Directing Iron Man 3 Posted: 15 Dec 2010 06:28 AM PST Rumors started swirling early yesterday with word that Iron Man director Jon Favreau will pass on directing Iron Man 3. Well, it’s no longer a rumor. Favreau himself confirmed that he is not going to be involved. The Swingers actor turned director brought the first two installments of the Marvel franchise to the big screen with enormous success. Last night he took to his twitter account to confirm that he will not be returning and will instead direct Magic Kingdom for Disney. A couple of reasons for his departure have been speculated. One theory is that there was a dispute over money, the other is that he is unsure of where the project will be heading with all the Avengers storylines running through. Apparently Robert Downey Jr.‘s contract gives him director approval, so who will step in to take over the reigns? I guess we’ll see. Who do you think should direct Iron Man 3? Sound off below!
