People Should’ve Paid To Keep Kim Kardashian Offline

Posted: 02 Dec 2010 01:44 PM PST

Kim Kardashian and a host of other celebrities have digitally “died” to help raise money for World AIDS Day. Unfortunately for them, the charity project has gotten off to a rocky start.

Celebrities including Kim, Ellen DeGeneres, Elijah Wood, Ryan Seacrest, Alicia Keys, Lady Gaga and many others have sacrificed their digital lives to help Keep A Child Alive.

The stars pledged to stay away from Twitter and Facebook until they reached their goal of $1 million. So far, they’re running very short of the goal. Pop Eater reports:

Now that World AIDS Day (Dec. 1) is over, it looks like there’s a long way to go until we’ll be seeing any tweets or Facebook updates from Kim, Gaga, JT and other participating celebs like Ryan Seacrest, Usher, Jennifer Hudson, Elijah Wood and Serena Williams — the donations stand at just over $160,000 as of Thursday morning. Reaching the $1 million mark could stretch deep into December.

The celebs involved are asking their fans to “Buy Life” and help them reach their goals. So far, none of them have really broken their promise not to tweet, except to tweet their charity messages. Ellen DeGeneres, on the other hand, must’ve gotten antsy about the lack of social networking and has broken the rules!

She tweeted, “I'm back! What did I miss? Who's trending? Did we figure out how to teleport yet?”

I thought they had to shut up until their goals were met? Perhaps they should’ve said that folks could donate to keep Kim Kardashian quiet? Now that would’ve been somethin’!

Mila Kunis Bans Father From Lesbian Sex Scenes

Posted: 02 Dec 2010 01:19 PM PST

Black Swan starring Natalie Portman and Mila Kunis has some serious lesbian action going on…

So much so, that Kunis says she doesn’t want her father to see it!

Kunis says that the scene “wasn’t done for shock value,” and at the same time that “we weren’t looking forward to it.”

Portman was quoted having said “Um, it was awkward. You know, we were good friends before, but you do things for your work that aren’t comfortable all the time.”

When talking with her father about watching the film, Kunis said “He was like, ‘I don’t think I should see the movie.’ I was like, ‘See the movie. There’s going to be a point; get up and leave.’”

I personally don’t see what the big deal is. Gay, straight, bi… who cares? It should be a non-issue in my opinion… but if you’re ashamed of your own work… ?

Black Swan opens nationwide tomorrow.

Nothing Off Limits For Taylor Swift’s Music

Posted: 02 Dec 2010 01:17 PM PST

It’s no secret that Taylor Swift writes about her relationships in her music, so it would stand to reason that her recent love affair with Jake Gyllenhaal might be fodder for an upcoming album.

Nothing is off limits for her, right??

In the new issue of “Entertainment Weekly”, Taylor says that she’s not afraid to get person with her music. She says that she writes songs about her own pain and heartache and “help her more than anything.”

She said, “I realize there are consequences to your actions. But the reason I write songs is to help clarify how I feel and get past it. Nothing is off-limits as far as writing. You can’t have parts of your life you don’t write about.”

When asked about Jake’s saucy sex scenes in “Love And Other Drugs”, Taylor responded, “It’s a good movie.” But when the topic of her coffee runs with Jake is brought up, she clams up. She said, “I write in great detail about my personal life, but I don’t talk about it.”

Ronni Chasen Suspect Commits Suicide

Posted: 02 Dec 2010 09:13 AM PST

A man who was a “person of interest” in the murder of Hollywood publicist Ronni Chasen has killed himself, after police confronted him with a search warrant at his apartment complex last night.

The man, who went by the name of Harold, was said to be a very strange man, who reportedly bragged to neighbors about “offing” a well known publicist.

The man was approached by officers last night at the Harvey Apartments complex on Santa Monica Boulevard. When he was asked to raise his hands so that the authorities could serve him with the warrant, he pulled out a gun and shot himself in the head. He was declared dead on arrival.

“Radar Online” reports:

A neighbor told KABC-TV in Los Angeles the man was unusual, and had been bragging about killing a famous Hollywood publicist.

He said he “offed her,” according to the neighbor, “and he was gonna get paid some money — he bragged to my husband about that.”

Brandon Harrison — another resident at the apartment building — told the L.A.Times that Harold described himself to other tenants as an ex-convict who served two stints in state prison, the most recent for firearms and drug convictions. Harold vowed that he would never go back to prison, according to Harrison.

“He told me several times, ‘If it ever came back down to me going to prison, I would die first,’” Harrison said.

Check out this news coverage of the suicide:

We’re still unsure as to what this Harold guy has to do with her murder or if he had knowledge of the incident. It sounds to me like he may have done it himself and was adamant in not returning to jail for his crime.

What do you think happened?

Justin Bieber’s Mommy Cancels His Cell Phone

Posted: 02 Dec 2010 08:59 AM PST

Poor little superstar! Itty-bitty Canadian teen-pop sensation Justin Bieber is not too big a celebrity that his mommy doesn’t still punish him when he’s bad…

After he got into an argument with his mother, she canceled his cell phone on him! HA!

Bieber’s mom Pattie follows the little guy on tour to make sure he keeps his nose out of trouble.

Bieber told U.K. DJ Fearne Cotton,

“I think every parent and son argue but I love my mom, she’s awesome. I think that it’s good that she travels with me (but) sometimes I need a break because she’s with me 24/7.

“The other day she cancelled my phone plan. We just got into an argument about something stupid and then she was like, ‘Give me your phone!’ And I was like no, so then she went and cancelled it! Tough!”

Poor little bitty Baby, baby, baby, ohhhh!

Scorpion King 3 Starts Principal Photography

Posted: 02 Dec 2010 08:30 AM PST

Holy crap, that’s it.. I give up! Remakes, re-boots, and sequels, OH MY!

Universal Studios Home Entertainment just announced that they’ve begun principal photography on the latest Scorpion King installment.

Ugh…

Here’s the official statement from their press release:

A legendary hero returns to fight his most fearsome adversary as an all-new adventure unfolds in The Scorpion King 3, now shooting in Thailand. Steeped in intrigue, sorcery and romance and featuring more of the spectacular action, mindboggling stunts and astonishing plot twists that have made The Scorpion King franchise an outstanding addition to Universal Studios Home Entertainment’s groundbreaking DVD Originals™ line, The Scorpion King 3 is slated for release on DVD in early 2012.

Picking up where The Scorpion King 2: Rise of a Warrior left off, The Scorpion King 3 continues the story of Mathayus, now the deposed leader of an ancient desert empire, as he faces the most terrifying challenge of his life. The film, which began shooting on October 29 in and around Bangkok, introduces an all new cast featuring Victor Webster (“Melrose Place,” Surrogates) as Mathayus; Ron Perlman (“Sons of Anarchy,” Hellboy 1 and 2) as Horus, the powerful King of Egypt; Billy Zane (“Samantha Who?,” Titanic) as the conniving King Talus; UFC star Kimbo Slice as Zulu Kondo; Bostin Christopher as Mathayus’ comrade-in-arms Olaf (Unbreakable); WWE champion Dave Bautista as Agromael; Selina Lo (28 Weeks Later) as Tsukai; Krystal Vee (Streetfighter: The Legend of Chin-Li) as the beautiful princess Silda and Temuera Morrison (Star Wars: Episode III-Revenge of the Sith) as the ill-fated King Ramusan.

“The Scorpion King 3 raises the bar for DVD Originals, encompassing the most stunning action, visual effects and production values to date, including a cast of over 400 warriors and elephants,” said Glenn Ross, Executive Vice President and General Manager of Universal Home Entertainment Productions. “The Scorpion King saga, with its compelling characters, engaging storyline and non-stop action, is a perfect complement to Universal’s hugely popular and successful DVD Originals offerings.”

The Scorpion King 3 is directed by Roel Reine (Death Race 2). Leslie Belzberg (Crazy Heart) is the producer along with executive producers Stephen Sommers, Sean Daniel, Jim Jacks and Kevin Misher. The film’s production team includes director of photography Roel Reine, production designers Kuladee ‘Gai’ Suchatanun and Patrix ‘Pae’ Meesaiyaat and editors Radu Ion and Matthew Friedman.

As The Scorpion King 3 begins, Mathayus has lost his beloved queen and been driven from his former kingdom by a virulent plague. Now, an assassin for hire, Mathayus is dispatched by Horus, the King of Egypt, to protect his ally King Ramusan from imminent attack. In return for his services, he is promised Ramusan’s daughter Silda in marriage, as well as the legendary Eye of the Gods medallion, which imparts supernatural powers to its wearer. But to collect the reward, he will have to first rescue the princess, who is being held captive by Talus, the scheming brother of Horus. Mathayus agrees to the perilous mission, but the evil that lies in wait for him will challenge even his cunning and strength in a staggering test of courage unlike any he has faced before.

Seeing as it’s Universal Home Entertainment, it’ll be a direct-to-dvd release, as was the 2nd installment.

I don’t know about you, but without The Rock this aint The Scorpion King…

What do you think?

Britney Spears’ Team Releases Official Statement

Posted: 02 Dec 2010 08:20 AM PST

Britney Spears’ team has released their official statement over the claims from yesterday, suggesting that Jason Trawick beat her up.

They weren’t too happy that her ex-husband, Jason Alexander, made these ludicrous claims and are planning to take legal action!

Yesterday, “Star” magazine ran a cover story saying that Jason beat Britney up, causing her to suffer a black eye. In addition to that, “Radar Online” also posted two recordings of someone they’ve claimed to be Britney, talking to Jason about the incidents.

Since, Britney’s team has gone on damage control, releasing the following statement on her official website:

Every aspect of the story published by Star Magazine is completely and utterly false and Star Magazine was informed of the falsity of this story before it was published. The statements attributed to Jason Alexander are a complete fabrication as Britney has not had any form of communication with Mr. Alexander in years.

The audio recording posted on Radaronline this morning purporting to be between Britney Spears and Jason Alexander is so obviously fake as to be laughable. Suffice it to say, that Jason Trawick has never laid a hand on Britney. This is just another example of the irresponsible nature of the tabloid media relying on shoddy sources and false information for the sole purpose of selling magazines, without regard to the truth and without regard to who they hurt in the process.

These irresponsible statements are defamatory and Britney Spears’ legal team will be taking legal action against all of the appropriate parties.

TMZ also called in an audio expert, to determine that the voice on the recordings wasn’t actually Britney herself. They report:

A certified audio expert who has analyzed the purported recordings of Britney Spears speaking to Jason Alexander tells TMZ … he believes the female voice is not Britney. Arlo West, who is a certified forensic audio expert, tells us, “In my opinion, it’s not her voice in the recording.”

West, who compared the recordings with a half dozen interviews Britney has done over the years, says “Listening to the phonetics, it doesn’t appear to be authentic,” adding, “the mannerisms in her voice just don’t match up.”

Did you really think it was her on those recordings? I bet any fan could’ve told them it wasn’t her for much less than the cost of an official expert!

Juicy Couture Store Invaded By Bed Bugs

Posted: 02 Dec 2010 08:11 AM PST

According to CEO of Juicy Couture, Edgar Huber, they’ve had to close the Fifth Avenue Store because of bed bugs!

I guess fans will have to wait to get those sweatpants with “Juicy” on the butt!

Edgar sent out an email to his staff, laying out their plans to rid themselves of the infestation:

As you may be aware we have temporarily closed the 5th Avenue location due to the discovery of bed bugs.

Our top priority is to protect our associates and our customers and we are moving swiftly and aggressively to address the problem. We expect to re-open the store later in the week and will keep you updated when we have specifics around the re-opening.

At this time there have been no other locations identified with this issue but we will continue to take all necessary precautions.

The company has also issued an official statement, directing customers to their website or another location so that there’s no interruption in business:

We wanted to inform the public and our consumers that we have temporarily closed the Juicy Couture Store at 650 Fifth Avenue due to the discovery of bed bugs.

Like other major retailers recently impacted by this issue, we are moving swiftly and aggressively to address the problem. We expect the store to re-open later this week.

The people who shop and work at the store are our top priority and we are taking all necessary precautions.

There are three other Juicy Couture stores serving New York City shoppers at 860 Madison Avenue, 368 Bleecker Street, 103 Fifth Avenue and of course all merchandise is available 24-hours a day at www.juicycouture.com.

Sounds pretty gross. I hope they’re able to get rid of these pests.

Teen Mom Amber Portwood Is A Drug Addict

Posted: 02 Dec 2010 07:22 AM PST

As if I needed anymore convincing that some people should be sterilized…

Amber Portwood, famous for her turn on MTV‘s reality show Teen Mom, first gets her daughter taken away from her by authorities, now the National Enquirer uncovers her drug use.

The now 20 year old mother, and I use that term VERY loosely, has had nothing but bad press following her appearances on the show.

She’s got a nasty temper as was shown when she beat the crap out of her daughter’s father Gary, and I fear for little Leah‘s life.

The Enquirer reports that Leah nearly choked to death while Amber “was in a drug-induced stupor”.

She’s apparently stocking a pharmacy in her home! Everything from Morphine, Hydrocodone, Klonopin, Adderall and Vyvanse.

This girl should be institutionalized, have her daughter permanently taken from her, and quite possibly thrown in jail for child endangerment.

As a mother myself, I can not find any redeeming qualities to this girl. She is a terrible mother, and well, sterilization should be forced on her so she can’t endanger the life of another child.

And seriously… this tattoo is just dreadful. I had to add this in… ugh!

What do you think dear readers? Sound off in the comments section below!

Miley Cyrus Newly Leaked Nude Photo

Posted: 02 Dec 2010 06:41 AM PST

A few days ago Miley Cyrus‘ purse was allegedly stolen at an LA party, which she hosted at her new home over the weekend.

Apparently, her purse contained her iPhone and camera — and now pictures are starting to leak!

We recently reported how Miley Cyrus likes sexting with her on-again-off-again boyfriend Liam Hemsworth.

Perhaps this photo was meant for him?

The photo in question does not show Miley’s face, so there’s no way to confirm whether or not it’s her until her reps issue an inevitable statement. However, people claim it’s real.

The girl in the photo has Miley’s signature wavy extensions, and is wearing bracelets and an unbuttoned flannel shirt that Miley was photographed wearing while she was in Madrid in early November for the MTV Europe Music Awards.

The photo was confirmed to have been taken at Westin Palace Hotel in Madrid, where Miley stayed while she was in town.
