The 43-year-old, Cohen, reveals that the book will be, "a memoir, of sorts, about my intersections with pop culture over the years, from growing up in front of the TV as a kid in St. Louis to my years at CBS News, all the way up to today. The stories I’ve been saving up are funny and improbable and really define who I am today.” The book is due to be released next summer from the New York publisher Henry Holt. Cohen is the man who gave the world the extremely popular 'Real Housewives' franchise and who hosts almost every reunion show on the network. There was also rumors of him being a possible replacement for Regis Philbin, when the seasoned host leaves 'Live with Regis and Kelly' in the near future. Well, looks like things have really worked out for Mr. Cohen. Congrats Andy! |

Over the weekend Lindsay was spotted at Lollapooloza in Chicago and at a Coldplay concert in Los Angeles last Wednesday. But Lindsay's next adventure will take her overseas because the ‘Mean Girls‘ star is looking to party in Europe with the Hilton sisters, Nicky and Paris. Of course Michael Lohan has something to say, so he told RadarOnline.com, “She has so much talent and so much opportunity, I hope she doesn’t take it for granted by being side tracked by the wrong people. She’s just being set up for failure.” Another source reveals Lindsay is clearly more focused on getting to Europe than completing her sentence at the Downtown Women’s Center and the Los Angeles County Coroner’s Office. “Lindsay wants to go to Europe to spend time with Paris and Nicky. Lindsay’s advisers are telling her it’s just not a good idea for her to go. But, Lindsay doesn’t have any travel restrictions on her, she can travel internationally,” says the insider. Lindsay has an enormous 480 hours to complete and yet she has only taken care of 40, she has less than a year left or it's back to the slammer. A spokesperson for the troubled star released this statement, “Lindsay takes her community service commitment very seriously and is working towards completing it in its entirety.” Mhm, I’m sure… |
| ‘The Hills’ Cast May Want To Do A Movie (Listen Here) Posted: 09 Aug 2011 04:18 PM PDT Just when you thought 'The Hills' was dead… Former ‘Hills’ cast member, Audrina Patridge has revealed to Ryan Seacrest on his morning radio show that the former cast, including herself, would be ready to hit the big screen.
“We were kind of all just so fed up with each other that we all needed a little break," confesses Patridge. "We’ve all had our break. Maybe we’ll all come back together and do a movie.” The show ended its four year run in July 2010. I'm sure these ladies are no strangers to scripts so this could definitely be a possibility. | Kim Kardashian’s Wedding Guest List Revealed Posted: 09 Aug 2011 09:27 AM PDT America’s royal wedding of Kim Kardashian and Kris Humphries is almost here and it is proving to be a star-studded event. Sources are revealing the high profile and super A-list guests invited to the wedding.
“I know Jennifer Lopez and Justin Bieber are invited,” reveals a source close to the wedding. “Will Smith and Jada will be guests, and of course Ryan Seacrest and Eva Longoria.” Oh yes, of course because who doesn't invite Ryan Seacrest and Eva Longoria to their wedding. (eye-roll) Reportedly, the invites for the wedding went out last week and some other A-listers on the list included Kanye West, Jay-Z and Beyonce. “It’s going to be a really big and plush wedding,” says the source. “Kim wouldn’t have it any other way!” Hmm Paris Hilton's invite must have been lost in the mail. | ‘Dirty Dancing’ Remake Gets GreenLight Posted: 09 Aug 2011 08:18 AM PDT
Lionsgate has just announced plans to remake the 1987 film which originally starred Jennifer Grey and Patrick Swayze. For everyone out there who hasn't seen the film, it is about two dancers, Baby (Grey) and Johnny (Swayze), who fall in love in the 60's while dancing. I'm sure it is more complex than that, but I personally haven't seen it. They have even confirmed Kenny Ortega, who choreographed the original's dance routines, as the choreographer for the new film. Ortega is also responsible for the dance numbers in the High School Musical films and in the Michael Jackson film, This Is It. “The opportunity to direct Dirty Dancing is like returning home for me,” said Ortega. “Growing up in the ’60s on the dance floor helped define me as a person and as an artist.” Who do you think should be cast for the roles of Johnny and Baby? Will the remake trend ever end? |
