| Hugh Hefner Is Planking! (Photo) Posted: 03 Aug 2011 02:55 PM PDT In what I can only describe as one of the silliest trends to hit Hollywood, another celeb bows to the pressures of planking. Playboy magnate Hugh Hefner was convinced by new girlfriend Anna Sophia Berglund to have himself photographed whist planking on his dining room table.
Where this trend came from, or why it’s so popular is beyond me… but I must admit, I chuckled seeing Hef in this position. Unfortunately, in Hef’s case, it looks more like he keeled over and died, than planking. Way to cool the death rumors buddy. LOL |
| Lady Gaga Completes Duets Line Up with Tony Bennett (Video) Posted: 03 Aug 2011 12:27 PM PDT Today, legendary singer Tony Bennett celebrates his milestone 85th birthday. To celebrate, Tony’s just completed a spectacular recording session with both Lady Gaga and Aretha Franklin, finalizing his highly anticipated DUETS II CD.  The final 2 sessions completed a celebrated list of artists to record with Bennett over the past 4 months, including the last ever studio recording with Amy Winehouse and recordings with amongst others: Michael Bublé ; k.d. Lang; Sheryl Crow; Mariah Carey; Andrea Bocelli; Queen Latifah and Willie Nelson. Lady Gaga joined Tony for a rendition of the Richard Rodgers song, "The Lady Is A Tramp" and Bennett and Franklin collaborated on the Alan and Marilyn Bergman classic, "How Do You Keep The Music Playing." DUETS II is the follow-up to the multi-platinum CD, DUETS, released in conjunction with Tony's 80th birthday in 2006, which won him three Grammy Awards and was his best ever selling CD. Phil Ramone takes the helm once again as producer, following up on his success with the Bennett's first DUETS album. The album will be released in the UK on October 3rd to coincide with a special one-off performance at The Palladium Theatre in London. DUETS II is now available on iTunes and Amazon. |
| Ashton Kutcher’s ‘Two & a Half Men’ Character Details Revealed Posted: 03 Aug 2011 12:02 PM PDT Ever since CBS execs said that they would go ahead with production on Two and a half Men without Charlie Sheen, speculation began as to how they would make that happen. Now that Ashton Kutcher has stepped in as his replacement, details are being leaked as to just how the show’s runners are plotting to lay things out.
The show is said to begin with the funeral of Charlie’s character where all of his girlfriends will attend the service, and his house will then be put on the market. It is rumored that several celebrities will make cameos as potential home buyers, but that Ashton’s character – Walden Schmidt – will eventually take ownership of the house. Schmidt is described as an “Internet billionaire with a broken heart.” One can also assume that creator Chuck Lorre will make certain that jokes at Sheen’s expense will be included in the show. The season premiere will be a two-parter that will air over the first two weeks. You can catch Two and a half Men on CBS when it returns on September 19th. I’ll be watching, will you? |
| The Situation Will Endorse Anything, Now It’s Tuxedos Posted: 03 Aug 2011 11:05 AM PDT That's right, Jersey Shore's The Situation is now endorsing tuxedos… the man hardly even wears a shirt most of the time! Apparently, Mike has hammered out a SIX FIGURE deal to endorse a line of tuxedos.
The tux company in question is called FLOW Formal and it is a New York based company and manufacturer. "This is great for us and great for the industry," says the company's CEO Brian Weintraub. "Tuxedos have become an old man thing." And as if you expected anything less, the line is called "The Situation." It includes tuxedos, slim-fit shirts and accessories. The line is expected to launch sometime in February 2012. So all you high school kids out there get ready to get your douche-bag on at next year's prom! |

| Justin Timberlake’s ‘In Time’ Trailers (Video) Posted: 03 Aug 2011 07:31 AM PDT A new thriller by writer/director Andrew Niccol titled In Time stars Justin Timberlake and will be hitting theaters hard on October 28th. The story revolves around Will Salas, a young man from the wrong side of the tracks who is fighting to stay alive.
In a not-too-distant future when the aging gene has been switched off, people must pay to stay alive. To avoid overpopulation, time has become the currency and the way people pay for luxuries and necessities. The rich can live forever, while the rest try to negotiate for their immortality. Timberlake plays young man accused of murder when he inherits a fortune of time from a dead upper class man, though too late to help his mother from dying. He is forced to go on the run from a corrupt police force known as ‘time keepers’. The teaser and trailer have both been released and are AMAZING, check them out! Samantha Ronson‘s friends are unsurprised by her arrest and said that Ronson has been struggling with alcohol lately — “boozing more than ever” and “hitting the nightclubs A LOT harder than she used to.”  Even Lindsay Lohan, who recently completed treatment at the Betty Ford Center for substance abuse problems, has avoided contact with Ronson because she feels she’s a negative infuence. So… Michael Lohan was right about Sam? |
