| Jennifer Lopez Will Make $20 Mil To Judge ‘American Idol’ Posted: 02 Aug 2011 03:57 AM PDT Triple threat Jennifer Lopez is in high demand, and as such would not consider returning for another season on American Idol without a massive pay increase… apparently it’s a done deal! The stunning beauty raked in $12 Million last season to sit in the judges chair, but got a huge raise to just over $20 Million for this upcoming season.
Unlike her fellow new Idol judge, Steven Tyler, Lopez only signed on for a one year appearance on the show. Which makes sense with all the other projects she’s got on the go. Currently, she is working on the romantic comedy What to Expect When You’re Expecting, the thriller Parker, currently in pre-production, and she has also decided to go ahead with Q’Viva, the show that will have her starring alongside estranged hubby Marc Anthony scouring the planet for the next ‘Latin Idol’. Talk about an insane schedule! When asked about her time on Idol, Lopez responded with “I had an amazing time doing it and I loved it, but I have a lot of other things happening, and it’s going to come down to making a choice of really what I want to do for the next year,” Lopez said. “We’re not really at the breaking point of ‘You have to make a decision right now!’ So I’m not. I’m really enjoying the time of just waiting — and seeing.” Well, I guess the time for waiting is over! Glad to see she decided to do the reality competition again this year, she made a great addition to the show. |

(Photo) Posted: 02 Aug 2011 03:36 AM PDT This past Sunday, Brooke Mueller took twin sons Max and Bob over to see their father Charlie Sheen at his Hollywood Hills mansion. Brooke is on a break from her new rehab treatment, and the family decided to spend the day as, well, a family.
Charlie spoke with TMZ saying; “Harmony is our goal. Sunday was a wonderful start.” Apparently once Brooke completes treatment, Charlie wants to move her into a home in his neighborhood so they can spend more time together as a family. WOW, talk about not seeing THAT one coming… |
| Lindsay Lohan’s Ex Samantha Ronson Arrested For DUI Posted: 02 Aug 2011 03:21 AM PDT In what seems to be a never ending trend in Hollywood, Lindsay Lohan‘s former gal-pal, DJ Samantha Ronson was arrested for DUI after refusing a field sobriety test on Monday morning. The 33 year old was driving back to L.A. from a gig in Vegas Sunday night at the Lavo nightclub in the Palazzo hotel.
Lilo’s former love was pulled over around 10:30AM for speeding, and when she refused to undergo a field sobriety test, was taken into custody. She was taken to a nearby police station where she took a breathalyzer and blew well over the legal limit. It is reported that Ronson was cooperative during the ordeal, and released from holding at 5:23PM Monday afternoon. When will people learn to NOT drive after drinking? I mean, really! |

The 27-year-old musician sang at a charity event for the opening of the Riverview Apartments in Jacksonville, Florida. She made the announcement before doing her set. "You are the first persons that I share this news with," Fantasia exclaims. "And I share this with you because I can relate to you. And for a while I walked around figuring out what will they say and what will they think about me. But now I tell you I don't live my life for folk." "This child that I'm carrying, God has given me this child. And I don't have to hide it from none of y'all," she added. Fantasia is already the mother of her 9-year-old daughter, Zion. | Heidi And Spencer Finally Tell The Truth… Maybe Posted: 01 Aug 2011 12:58 PM PDT Heidi Montag and Spencer Pratt have hit rock bottom and have opened up in an interview about all the mistakes made on their ill-fated quest for fame. Heidi was first introduced to fame in 2006, when the hit reality TV show The Hills premiered on MTV. Heidi then started dating Pratt during the shows second season, soon all the focus was on them and they stole the show.
In the interview, the couple first reveals what everyone already knew, that the two actually never broke up. Heidi reveals, "We've never even been apart." Not only did the two fake their break up, Spencer fake threatened to release a sex tape and Heidi fake filled a divorce. "At that point, we were pulling our last cards," Spencer reveals. "We felt the hot-air balloon losing its gas. And at that stage, our income would be selling the photo that would go along with the divorce." Spencer revealed that the couple is broke. They spent $2 million on Heidi's failed pop-music career and millions on clothing and other material things. "I probably spent a million dollars on suits and fancy clothes," admits the somewhat former fame-whore. "My whole million-dollar wardrobe—I would never wear that again. They're props. Everything we were doing, we were buying props. I bought a big blue monster truck just to drive it on The Hills for an episode. Never drove it again." Heidi spoke up saying,"I thought I was investing in myself and my brand. Like Kim." referring to Kim Kardasian, Heidi continued. "When she buys these clothes, she's investing in herself. Because she is a big brand and is likeable. I thought I had that potential. My ego got too big. To think I could be someone like that when I was the most hated girl ever."
In regards to her extensive plastic surgery Heidi said, "Obviously I wish I didn't do it, I would go back and not have any surgery. I got too caught up in Hollywood, being so into myself and my image. I don't regret anything, but if I could go back, I wouldn't do it." So, where are Heidi and Spencer now? Heidi is being showcased on the VH1 reality TV show Famous Food and still does promotional events in Las Vegas. Spencer was considering going back to USC to finish his political science degree, but knows that no one would hire him in politics. The two now live with Spencer's parents in a Santa Barbara beach house and don't pay rent. They spend most of their time watching movies and reading books. It really is kind of sad how some people abuse the fame and attention like these two did. Is this the death of Speidi? Well not unlike a case of herpes, I’m guessing these two will be back in no time. |

This is the third day in a row that Lohan has gone out and partied it up in Malibu with frienemy Paris Hilton. Lindsay and Paris were partying all night and didn't call it quits until 4 AM Sunday morning! When leaving Paris' Malibu beach home Lindsay pulled her hood up and jumped into a car that drove her home. Sounds like somebody didn't want to be seen. Although Lindsay is still on probation for theft and DUI, she doesn't seem to see the problem with partying all night. Even after Judge Stephanie Sautner warned Lohan to "go back to community service and your life will be in order," she is still seen partying more than serving her time. If Lindsay doesn't finish all her community service within the required time the judge has no problem taking action in punishing her, she will not be accepting any excuses. Get it together Lindsay. |

After only 19 days in cinemas, Harry Potter 8 has broken the record for the fastest film in history to earn over a billion dollars in revenue. Deathly Hallows 2 is the highest grossing film in the Harry Potter franchise overtaking The Philosopher’s Stone which was released in 2001 and earned an estimated $974,755,371 just narrowly missing the $1 Billion mark. It is an esteemed honor to join the $1 Billion club, as only 8 other films in history have accomplished such a feat. While on a self-imposed month off to relax with friends before working on his next album, Bieber was spotted in his underwear, hot tubbing with a buddy (also in his underwear).  What else? Bieber was pulled over by police in South Beach. While TMZ reported he called for police protection from fans, it turns out the real reason for the stop was a bit more embarrassing — the cops thought he was too young to be driving a convertible Rolls-Royce. He could barely see over the dash. In other news, Bieber made a surprise visit to girlfriend Selena Gomez‘s concert on Saturday night, but had to make a hasty exit after nearly being mobbed by fans. After word got out that Bieber was there, dozens of fans reportedly chased him as he tried to leave the venue through a back door. What are these girls chasing? (see the photo above) |

Screen legend Al Pacino‘s 21-year-old daughter Julie was arrested early in the morning on Saturday in New York City for driving while intoxicated. The arrest occurred at 1:35 AM after Julie drove her Mercedes through a DWI checkpoint on W. Houston St., in Manhattan. “She had bloodshot, watery eyes, slurred speech and the strong smell of alcohol on her breath,” says officer James Duffy, quoting the police report. “She admitted to drinking three beers and smoking marijuana prior to entering the checkpoint.” Ms. Pacino was arraigned at 5:23 PM Saturday afternoon, and was released on her on recognizance. Upon hearing the news of his daughter’s arrest, her famous father boarded a plane from Los Angeles and rushed to NYC. Pacino is currently working on a Phil Spector bio-pic in L.A. |
| Amy Winehouse Rep Denies Adoption Rumors Posted: 01 Aug 2011 06:31 AM PDT British newspaper The Mirror is reporting that at the time of her death, singer Amy Winehouse was in the process of adopting a ten year old girl from St. Lucia. Winehouse is said to have been spending most of her time living on the Caribbean island over the past two years.
10 Year old Dannika Augustine and her grandmother Marjorie Lambert both spoke with The Mirror and said that Winehouse had fallen in love with the girl and wanted to adopt her and take her to London to live as her daughter. “Amy was already my mother. I would call her mum and she would call me her daughter,” the girl told the paper. “She was the most amazing person and I was looking forward to living with her here or in London. I cannot believe she is gone. This is the worst thing that ever happened to me.” A rep for Winehouse states that while Amy may have known the little girl while vacationing in St. Lucia, that there is absolutely no truth to this story. Winehouse died last week at the age of 27. Cause of death has yet to be confirmed. |
| Miley Cyrus Gets Tattoo In Support Of Gay Marriage (Photo) Posted: 01 Aug 2011 05:38 AM PDT Singer Miley Cyrus is a huge supporter of equal rights, and has spoken out against discrimination with regards to the Gay community. Good for her! Her most recent show of support, comes in the form of a brand new tattoo that she got to show her support of Gay marriage.
Cyrus has publicly tweeted her disgust with companies like Urban Outfitters for supporting anti-gay propaganda, such as their donations to Rick Santorum‘s campaign to run for President in 2012. "If we allow gay marriage, next thing you know people will be marrying goldfish!” said Santorum. This and other similar remarks prompted Cyrus into speaking up against Santorum and Urban Outfitters, and with almost 2 million twitter followers, I’m sure her message got out there. Cyus sent out a tweet Friday evening showing off her newest ink; an equals (=) sign to show her support of gay marriage equality. This girl is totally growing on me… Kudos, Miley! |
