| Wired Exclusive: Living The Life of Jacques d’Azur’ Posted: 24 May 2010 12:53 AM PDT I was given the most amazing opportunity of flying to the Cannes Film Festival May 20th through the 22nd, and living the fabulous and exciting life of Jacques d’Azur’!  Stella Artois hosted my travels (only 10 blogs were invited), which consisted of an exhausting full two days in the air. What an honor to be one of only ten invited! Once I arrived in Cannes, I checked into my home away from home, the Le Manoir de le’Tang.       I was immediately greeted by the exceptional hotel staff, the Stella Artois ‘happy team,’ an endless supply of Stella Artois beer, and a handful of winners from the Jacques d'Azur Cannes Film Festival Weekend Getaway contest. I’m very proud to say, they are now all my friends. Now about that “living the fabulous and exciting life of Jacques d’Azur’“… Outside of this fabulous place we now were calling home, we were able to attend the screening of Naomi Watts‘ film, “Fair Game.”    We attended the after party at celebrity hotspot Eden Roc, where we saw Lindsay Lohan, Paris Hilton, Gerard Butler and some LADY who thought she was Gaga. Paris almost passed out in the bathroom and Lindsay was drinking up a storm. This was just our first day!    The next day, we spent some time at the Stella Artois beachfront lounge (usually exclusive to only Jacques d’Azur’ himself), roamed the streets of Cannes and had a fabulous dinner back at the hotel.    Then Stella Artois demanded our access to the exclusive VIP Room. Needless to say, the majority of our group closed the place down around 5:00 a.m.    Cannes, France is an amazing place… it was an experience I will never forget! |
| Brittany Murphy’s Husband, Simon Monjack, Found Dead Posted: 24 May 2010 12:00 AM PDT Just five months after the untimely death of Brittany Murphy, her husband, Simon Monjack has been found dead. The screenwriter was found in his Hollywood Hills home earlier tonight.  Seargant Louie Lozano said, “We have detectives at [the] scene. They are conducting their investigation. Once we have further information, we will provide it.” Brittany’s mother found Simon unconcious in the master bedroom at around 9:30pm and called 911. Paramedics arrived on scene, but were unable to revive him. He was pronounced DOA. So far, his cause of death is unknown. Some previously suggested that Monjack was trying to profit from his wife’s death, but he pulled her foundation website before rumors got worse. My first thought upon hearing about his death was to think that he committed suicide. This is unconfirmed, however. There have been no details surrounding his death as of yet. Maybe he died of a broken heart. In photos, they seemed to be the unconventional couple, but they appeared to be in love. The photographs that he took of her were just beautiful, as well. Now they can be together. It’s sad, really. So much controversy surrounded him upon the launch of the Brittany Murphy Foundation and maybe it all just got to him. Poor guy. | Lady Gaga Loves The Penis Rumors Posted: 23 May 2010 11:34 PM PDT In a new interview, Lady Gaga says that she loves the rumors floating around that she has a penis.  She has previously cleared up any speculation as to whether or not she’s a man or woman, but the rumors keep flowing. She doesn’t care, though, and neither do we. She gets it. It’s all about the music. She said, “I love the rumor that I have a penis. I’m fascinated by it. In fact, it makes me love my fans even more that this rumor is in the world because 17,000 of them come to an arena every night and they don’t care if I’m a man, a woman, a hermaphrodite, gay, straight, transgendered, or transsexual. They don’t care! They are there for the music and the freedom. This has been the greatest accomplishment of my life- to get young people to throw away what society has taught them is wrong. Gay culture is at the very essence of who I am and I will fight for women and for the gay community until I die.” Check out the interview, below: Good for her. She’s not bowing down to any preconceived stereotypes. That’s just what we love about her. The penis rumors, however, not so much.    Love this crazy broad. |
