| Miley Cyrus’ New ‘Can’t Be Tamed’ Promo Shots Posted: 03 May 2010 09:49 PM PDT Miley Cyrus is letting go of her little girl Disney image and is ruffling some feathers as she does her best Ke$ha impression. We’ve got three new promo shots for her upcoming video, “Can’t Be Tamed”, for your viewing pleasure!  Miley is certainly growing up, but will her younger fans continue to follow her if she continues to get sexier? Here’s a brief snippet of the video: The video will make its premiere on E! News at 7pm and 11:30pm on May 4th! The video appears to be a little on the sexy side for someone who’s only seventeen, don’t you think? I think she’s a bit young for a video like this. But her mom and dad must approve…which doesn’t say much. I mean, these two Hollywood parents are probably in her back pocket anyways.  Considering what they’ve allowed their younger daughter, Noah, to do, it’s really not that surprising. She’s sang along with Ke$ha’s song, “Tik Tok” on video, video chatted in the wee hours of the morning and even showing up to an event dressed in hooker boots. | ‘Dancing With The Stars’ Week Seven Recap Posted: 03 May 2010 06:19 PM PDT “Dancing With The Stars” is on and they’re opening tonight’s show with Erin Andrews and Maksim Chmerkovsiy doing the Quickstep.  Their dance is cute and lively and more importantly, Maks didn’t take his clothes off. It’s a travesty! They scored a total of 27 points. Next up are Chad Ochocinco and Cheryl Burke doing the Viennese Waltz. It was a decent enough performance, but I don’t believe it was worthy of the 10’s that they were seeking. Bruno said that Chad was a gentle giant and that he was graceful. The other judges agreed and gave them a total of 25 points. Nicole Scherzinger and Derek Hough are up next, doing the Viennese Waltz. It was a sweet dance that Nicole dedicated to her aunt, who has Down’s Syndrome. The judges ate it up, giving them a total score of 27 points. Pamela Anderson and Damian Whitewood are dancing next, doing the Waltz. The dance was sweet and sensual, with Len saying that she needed to tone her upper body. The judges gave them a total of 24 points. Niecy Nash and Louis Van Amstel are dancing the Quickstep. I love Niecy, she’s such a crackup. Their Quickstep was a bit slow, but got better as it went on. The judges loved it, with Cari Anne calling it her best dance. They scored a total of 25 points. Evan Lysacek and Anna Trebunskaya are dancing the Argentine Tango next. I was so mesmerized by the dance and its hotness, that I had to wait until it was over to type this. They scored a total of 30 points! Hot! In the team dances, Team Gaga is up first, doing the Cha Cha Cha. The team includes Pamela and Damian, Nicole and Derek and Chad and Cheryl. They’re dancing to a butchered version of Lady Gaga’s “Telephone”. This version should be outlawed. Pam really messed up her dance, making the rest of the team look bad. Other than that, Chad, Cheryl, Nicole and Derek really cleaned up nicely. They scored a total of 27 points. Team Madonna are dancing next, to Madonna’s “Holiday” and Evan tore it up! I just love these white lacy dresses, they are so cute! They scored 24 points total. Who do you think is going home tomorrow night? My vote is for Pam to go. Thoughts? |

While in town on his comedy tour, Conan O'Brien visited the Twitter headquarters, entertaining employees and leaving a few gifts behind.  He thanked them for saving his life. "Twitter – Thanks for saving my ass. Your friend, Conan," read a placard. Conan also drew a picture of himself, sans beard. He’s finally returning to TV soon!  Last night, Conan did his first television interview since his departure from the Tonight Show on 60 Minutes. He was walking along with his friend, Babybird star, Stephen Jones, when a man approached him with a bottle. So, Captain Jack Sparrow looks him in the eyes and tells him to back off, and he does!  The two had just left a recording studio in Los Angeles, when Stephen was approached by the would-be robber with a broken bottle. A source said, “It was an extremely scary moment. This guy looked off his head. Johnny looked him straight in the eyes and told him to back off.” After Johnny swooped in, the crazed man backed off. The snitch said, “The guy was okay. He looked at Johnny and said, ‘I ain’t stealing from Captain Jack’ and put the bottle down. Johnny gave him a few bucks and told him to straighten up his life.” You can’t steal from Captain Jack, numbskull. | Ke$ha’s “Tik Tok” Gets Simpson-ized - Video Posted: 03 May 2010 11:25 AM PDT
Talk about random! For “Fox Rocks” week, everyone’s favorite dysfunctional cartoon family, The Simpsons, decided to celebrate by replacing their intro/couch gag with their own interpretation of Ke$ha’s hit “TiK ToK.” Last nights show didn’t open with the familiar angelic harmonizing and swooping shot over Springfield we all know and love. Instead, we got Lisa Simpson jumping out of bed and grabbing Milhouse's glasses, complete with Groundskeeper Willie brushing his teeth with a bottle of Jack! Once Lisa establishes that she has woken up feeling like P. Diddy, the whole cast of characters joins in on the charade of lip-synching and roleplaying that match the lyrics of the song.
I have mixed feelings about last night’s tweaked opening. On the one hand it was clever and entertaining. On the other, it means that Ke$ha has earned a spot in TV history becoming the first musician to watch her song replace the iconic “Simpsons” theme and opening credits, something she is a long ways away from earning. She is basically a poor man’s Lady Gaga and has an uncanny resemblance to John Travolta…..

| Lady Gaga’s Expensive ‘American Idol’ Performance Posted: 03 May 2010 07:10 AM PDT Lady Gaga will perform on next Wednesdays’ “American Idol” results show, but not before demanding - and receiving - $250,000 for appearing on the show.
Apparently the singer was worth the price. She pre-taped her performance of "Bad Romance" on the piano with a transition into her current hit "Alejandro” after this weeks Top 6 elimination night. Fans can expect to be shocked - her costume is provocative to say the least.
Gaga began the performance sitting at the piano for a slowed-down take on “Bad Romance.” That tune then morphed into a raucous version of “Alejandro.” The angel shot flames from its wings during each utterance of “Alejandro” in the chorus. [OK!] |
