| Ronnie James Dio Has Passed Away Posted: 16 May 2010 11:28 PM PDT Popular heavy metal singer Ronnie James Dio has passed away on Sunday, May 16th. It is a tragic day in the world of music to have such a loss. He was only 67.  Ronnie experienced stomach cancer, which he had announced on his official website last year. His wife made the announcement on November 25, 2009:
Ronnie was credited with the “devil horns”, which has been a sign in metal circles for ages now. His grandmother used to make the sign to ward off the evil eye. Dio recorded music with Rainbow, Black Sabbath, Heaven and Hell, Dio, Elf and a score of others. On May 4th, it was announced that Heaven and Hell were canceling their summer tour due to Ronnie’s poor health. Yesterday, his wife, Wendy Dio announced his passing:

| Miley Cyrus To Perform On Wednesday’s ‘Dancing With The Stars’ Posted: 16 May 2010 10:31 PM PDT Miley Cyrus is one of the acts slated to perform on Wednesday’s results show for “Dancing With The Stars”.  The teen queen will perform her newest song, “Can’t Be Tamed” on the show May 19th. Afterward, we will be treated to a performance by Sarah McLachlan, doing a medley of “Loving You Is Easy” and “Angel”. We’re down to the top four on the dancing competition. After having eliminated Niecy Nash, it has come down to Evan Lysacek, Nicole Scherzinger, Chad Ochocinco and Erin Andrews, who are all going to the semi-finals. It’s the couple’s last chance to wow all of us before three are chosen to pass on to the finals on May 24th and 25th. Who are you rooting for? | Lindsay Lohan Throws Fit, Claims She’s Fine Posted: 16 May 2010 09:27 PM PDT Lindsay Lohan must think she’s actually more relevant or important than she actually is. On Saturday night, the troubled actress headed out to 10ak and started some drama.  She wanted a table that was already occupied by New York Rangers player Sean Avery, Aaron Voros and his girlfriend Jessica Stam. Lindsay reportedly “wanted to be at their table near the DJ”, but didn’t actually want to sit with them. She claimed that Aaron was her ex-boyfriend and didn’t want to be near him. But still, she tried to get them kicked out and was refused by bouncers. A spy said, “There was total drama for absolutely no reason.” Lindsay recently talked to Hollywood TV about “traffic school” and claimed that she’s fine and in compliance. She also said that she was off to Cannes to announce her role in the movie about Linda Lovelace. Think she’ll be in Cannes when her court date is upon her? | Greyson Michael Chance Signs To Interscope Records Posted: 16 May 2010 12:13 PM PDT Twelve-year-old Youtube singing sensation, Greyson Michael Chance just got swooped up by Interscope Records. Sources have revealed that head honcho Jimmy Iovine got in to sign Greyson before anyone else could even meet him.  Greyson grew in popularity after performing Lady Gaga’s hit song, “Paparazzi” in front of his school. You could tell that the girls started to go a little crazy for him even then. Afterward, Ellen DeGeneres had the young star on her show Thursday afternoon, performing the same song. Prior to his performance, he talked to his inspiration, Lady Gaga. | Justin Bieber and Miley Cyrus ‘Hang Out’ Posted: 16 May 2010 08:45 AM PDT Calm yourself Bieber fans! They're just friends. During an appearance on “The Ellen DeGeneres Show,” the Biebermeister insisted he was “just hanging out” with his fellow teen star, after the two of them were snapped on their way to dinner at Ari-Ya at the Beverly Center in LA.  “Like, I’m dating around, hanging out with girls, but not really dating,” the 16-year-old told DeGeneres. In other words, he’s a playah! In other Miley Cyrus news, here’s her commercial for the 2010 MuchMusic Video Awards. Catch the show on June 20th, when Cyrus will co-host and perform. |
