Taylor Swift & Cory Monteith Hug On Bowling Date - Photos Posted: 24 Mar 2010 07:07 PM PDT Taylor Swift tried to play it coy and secretive while dating “Glee” star Cory Monteith, but the jig is up. Taylor may not have her mother, Andrea’s approval, but she is certainly enjoying spending time with this fella. And why wouldn’t she? He’s cute and they seem close! We spotted the duo at Pins in Los Angeles, trying to play like they are just friends. To up the friend factor, they were also joined by pal Selena Gomez. A source said, "Taylor and Cory definitely looked close – they spent most of the night chatting together and had a long hug before saying goodbye, but their separate exits seemed quite deliberate so people wouldn't think they were an item." The source said, “Taylor is actually pretending not to be interested in Cory so her mother doesn't scare him off. Taylor's figured out she better not have any serious mother-daughter conversations about her love life or the relationship will be doomed from the get-go. Taylor really likes Cory, and she's telling friends she sees real romantic possibilities with him." Another insider claimed, "Andrea has told Taylor in no uncertain terms that she must put her career ahead of dating boys. Andrea, who has a firm grip on her daughter's career and personal life, thinks Taylor has worked far too hard to let everything go to the wall for the sake of a boy." Tiger Woods Hooked Up With LeAnn Rimes Posted: 24 Mar 2010 06:50 PM PDT Gross, gross and even more gross. I don’t even know who was getting the crap end of that stick. Apparently, Tiger Woods was banging LeAnn Rimes, of all people. Well, of course he was. Is there any women who are safe from this guy? Back when LeAnn was 19-years-old, she hooked up with a 26-year-old Tiger. In 2002, before she got hitched to Dean Sherement, these two were doing the nasty. I feel icky just typing that. A source said, “They hooked up and everything. Tiger was really into her. He likes those blondes!” And she still did it, much to the dismay of her father, who apparently didn’t like the idea. Our snitch said, “Then her dad almost had a heart attack. And he made her stop seeing Tiger.” If you’re 19, then you are way old enough to do whatever you want, regardless of what your parents say about it. Do you think she was doing it for the fame? Justin Bieber’s Manager Arrested Over Twitter Posted: 24 Mar 2010 06:41 PM PDT Justin Bieber’s manager, Scott “Scooter” Braun has turned himself in to Nassau County police earlier today, to face charges over Twitter…. What? Last November, there was an incident where Justin was set to appear at Roosevelt Field Mall on Long Island. Justin was pumped to attend and sign copies of his CD, but the mall was overrun by 5,000 fans. Nassau County police received calls from concerned shoppers, fearful that they would be trampled in the onslaught. The police then decided to contact Justin’s management to cancel the event. They contacted James Roppo, who is an executive at Def Jam Records and told him to call it off. Despite their demand, someone posted this message on the teen star’s Twitter, saying, “On my way to Roosevelt Field Mall in Long Island, NY to sign and meet fans! I’m pumped. See u there.” Police said that they reached out to Roppo again to delete the tweet and post stating that the whole thing had been canceled. This did not happen. After an hour, police used Roppo’s phone to contact Scooter to let him know that it was still not officially canceled. Afterward, police say that they told Scooter that they were arresting Roppo. After that, instead of letting fans know not to show up, Scooter tweeted, “they are not allowing me to come into the mall. If you don’t leave I and my fans will be arrested as the police have just told us that.” After three minutes had passed, he tweeted again, “the event at roosevelt mall is cancelled. Please go home. The police have already arrested one person from my camp. I don’t want anyone hurt.” It was then that the crowd dissipated. They have charged Scooter with reckless endangerment and obstruction of a governmental administration. Chris Brown & Soulja Boy Fight on Twitter Posted: 24 Mar 2010 06:30 PM PDT There is a feud going on the web between rapper Soulja Boy and R&B performer Chris Brown. No, this isn’t high school crap. The Soulja Boy started the rift on Twitter by giving a remark that he has more followers than the ex-boyfriend of Rihanna. “#ListenBitch add @ChrisBrown & @BowWow followers together and you still aint half way f#ckin wit me lol.” In response, Chris noted what he has achieved in music industry, “@souljaboytellem and @bowwow what yall make in a show i make for an hour at an afterparty… jus sayin.” While Bow Wow seemed to ignore the backlash, Soulja tweeted another post apparently making a reference to his previous message, “#ListenBitch if my last tweet offended you I won.” Then, he shot down Bow Wow once again, “lol @bowwow there you go. f#ck bank accounts. f#ck followers. let’s see who new album sell the most 1st week.” The grown men have since deleted their tweets. Soulja Boy is scheduled to release a new album “The DeAndre Way” on July 28. Bow Wow has also worked on his new record but hasn’t announced its release date. The ‘Twilight Saga: Eclipse’ Official Movie Poster Posted: 24 Mar 2010 04:18 PM PDT When we left off with “New Moon”, Edward Cullen and Jacob Black were both vying for Bella Swan’s love. And now, in “Eclipse”, she’s left with a choice: Turn vamp and hook up with Edward or lead a human life with Jacob by herself? Decisions, decisions….I wonder which she’s going to choose. In the newly leaked poster, Bella is in the middle of Edward and Jacob and it has the tagline, “It all begins…with a choice”. In the second movie, she said that she would always choose Edward over Jacob. What I can’t believe is why this is so long and drawn out regarding their love? And since when are vampires brooding and vegetarian and lovey dovey? Laverne & Shirley Heads to the Big Screen Posted: 24 Mar 2010 02:25 PM PDT Another one gets resurrected! Director Garry Marshall told TV Guide this weekend that three of the stars of his Valentine’s Day may be teaming up for a big screen version of “Laverne & Shirley.” According to Marshall, Jennifer Garner and Jessica Biel would star in the film, which is being written by Jamie Foxx. There was some talk during the press junket for Valentine’s Day that Foxx thought Garner and Biel were just like the TV characters. “Jamie and I are trying to do it. He’s writing it. It’s a whole different modern day take on how they came up on the streets during difficult times. Laverne would be this very tough girl with a big ‘L’ tattooed on her arm. Jennifer Garner would play Laverne and Jessica Biel would play Shirley.” While Jamie plans to write in roles for the original sitcom stars, Penny Marshall and Cindy Williams, Garry says Jamie asked him not to reveal what those roles would be. Well it’s fairly obvious who will be cast in which role. I can see Jennifer Garner pulling this off, Jessica Biel not so much. She was on her way into a friend’s party in West Hollywood, when she took a bit of a tumble. She fell face down into the garden, but had the help of quick friends, who helped her back up. The graceful starlet apparently had way too much to drink last night and ended up faceplanting the garden. So much for trying to get everything back in order, hmmm? These photos should be the face of her new Ed Hardy campaign because you just can’t make this stuff up…and it’ll be way better than anything she can come up with for the brand. American Idol: Billboard Hits Posted: 24 Mar 2010 07:00 AM PDT We were going to be treated with the "delights" of teen idols on American Idol, but the theme was changed to Billboard #1 Hits. The hopefuls were mentored by Miley Cyrus. Smart move considering the show's target audience, but for the rest of us it was an odd combo. She would have been perfect for the Idol themed night, but it felt odd to hear her give critics over songs that are nearly 30 years old than she is. Let's start with those who didn't fare so well. Didi Benami didn't get any pats on the head from the judges. As Didi got ripped apart for her performance of Linda Ronstadt's "You're No Good," Miley sat in the background chomping on her gum. Egads. I hope the is girl doesn't go home because going on singing "you're no good" is never….well…good. Andrew Garcia was another contestant who didn't impress anyone. Even despite Miley's suggestion to put the guitar down, he managed to come across as karaoke Gokey reincarnated and singing "I Heard it Through the Grapevine." He is my pick for going home this week. And now for some goodies! Seriously, Crystal Bowersox should just be crowned the winner and everyone could be saved the trouble. Crystal sang "Me and Bobby McGee," to win more praise from the judges. She also mentioned "something big planned" for next week. Ooo…lets not get to hasty. You want us to think you are the epitome of modesty! Lee Dewyze tackled "The Letter" just like most of the male contestants before him. Not the best version cranked out by a hopeful, but compared to Tim Urban's "silly" and over the top performances that involve sliding across the stage…it was one of the better performances. Who do you think is going home? Is Tim's good looks going to get him into another week on Idol?
