Wired Music: Justin Bieber & Ludacris - ‘Baby’ Posted: 18 Jan 2010 12:18 PM PST Ludacris and I are f!@#$! done professionally. After putting out this song with Justin Bieber, we are through. You hear that Luda? Hope you and your “Baby” are happy. I’m old enough to be this kid’s mother and he’s singing so much about love?!?? What?!?? And isn’t this kid, like, everywhere? Watching these teen “heartthrobs” is like watching child porn. I’m afraid that Chris Hansen is going to be knocking down my door any moment. Listen to “Baby” here and let us know what you think. I’m still waiting to see if he’s famous after his voice drops. |
Speaking of Demi Moore’s Golden Globes Bad Hair Day Posted: 18 Jan 2010 11:51 AM PST If you thought Demi Moore was having a bad hair day, then consider Mo’Nique’s faux pas for the evening. Girlfriend didn’t shave her legs! Mo’Nique attended last night’s Golden Globes wearing a fancy dress and matching shoes, yet forgot to shave her legs? I’ve heard her say that she doesn’t shave, but for an event like this, you would think she would have taken special precautions not to be so hairy. And another thing. Why would you hike up your dress knowing that you have a forest growing on your legs? source: Mo’Nique Gets a Leg Up on the Competition - [tmz] |
Demi Moore Skips Golden Globes Because of ‘a Bad Hair Day’ Posted: 18 Jan 2010 09:03 AM PST Why wasn’t Demi Moore by husband Ashton Kutcher’s side at Sunday’s Golden Globe Awards? She didn’t like her hair! “Feeling sick and having a bad hair day!” the actress, 47, Twittered. She was wowed by how great Kutcher looked on stage as he presented best actor in a comedy series with his Valentine’s Day costar, Jennifer Garner.
Kutcher, 31, Twittered that he and Garner, 37, were supposed to have more on-stage banter, but the “show was running long so they nuetered [sic] our bit.” (Winner Alec Baldwin of 30 Rock wasn’t on hand to accept his award. Kutcher joked that he was “keeping” it. Said the actor: “If he wants he’ll have to pry it from my cold dead hands.”) |
Nicole Kidman & Keith Urban Sing Tribute to Simon Baker Posted: 18 Jan 2010 08:30 AM PST Nicole Kidman and Keith Urban performed a tribute to fellow Aussie, Simon Baker, during Australia Week's G'Day USA 2010 black tie gala at the Hollywood & Highland Center on Saturday in Hollywood, Calif. To the tune of Men At Work's "Down Under," the couple sang, "Give it up for Simon Baker, The Mentalist, CBS money maker … and his name is Simon Baker, surfer dude, home renovator." |
Drew Barrymore Forgets Boyfriend Justin Long at Golden Globes Posted: 18 Jan 2010 07:54 AM PST Red-faced “Grey Gardens” star forgot to mention beau Justin Long in her speech. Drew Barrymore’s loss for words during the Golden Globes may land her in the doghouse. “I screwed up so hard in my speech,” the red-faced star said backstage at the awards show in Los Angeles. “I think Mo’Nique said it best, you just don’t want to know or think or assume you would ever win anything.” The actress was so stunned when she was awarded Best Supporting Actress for her role in “Grey Gardens” that she forgot to mention boyfriend Justin Long in her speech. video: [cast tv] |
Taylor Lautner’s First Golden Globes Experience Posted: 18 Jan 2010 07:27 AM PST Despite the heavy downpour in Hollywood, Taylor Lautner wasn’t letting anything dampen his first Golden Globes experience. Plus, does Taylor reveal where the fourth film in the “Twilight Saga” will be shooting? |
Ricky Gervais Golden Globe Reviews Posted: 18 Jan 2010 06:41 AM PST
Ricky Gervais failed to garner rave reviews. He is the first host in 15 years for the Golden Globes. I can see why. With very little time to spare, the hosting duties didn't give him much to do. The only real moment in which I laughed was his intro for Mel Gibson. With a beer in his hand, he said: “I like a drink as much as the next man… unless the next man is Mel Gibson” - a reference to the Oscar-winner’s arrest for drink driving in 2006.
I was excited to hear that Ricky would be let loose on live tv. Although I felt disappointed. I am not the only one. ABC News dubbed him "uninspired" and "toothless" and this resounded through most media outlets. Hollywood Reporter followed those comments with a few of their own stating he was "surprisingly uninspired" and claimed his jokes "didn’t land a blow, let alone draw blood". However, some felt the opposite. TMZ called him “hysterical” while The Radar said: “British funnyman Ricky Gervais was on fire.” Honestly, he wasn’t on stage much. He barely addressed the Jay Leno/Conan debacle. Instead he took shots at an absent Angelina Jolie and a music legend. He poked fun at Paul McCartney’s recent divorce. The crowd reportedly responded with boos. He also left in around 5 bits the peacock network asked him to cut. I am guessing one of the jokes was about being able to buy your way into winning the award.
