Michael Jackson’s two eldest children are scheduled to take the stage this weekend to accept the Grammy Lifetime Achievement Award for their father, Michael Jackson.

It would be the first public appearance for Prince Michael, 12, and Paris, 11, since their dramatic appearance at the memorial service 12 days after their father’s death.

Two sources close to the family said the youngest, 7-year-old Blanket, was not expected to appear, although they suggested that might change.

Contrary to some media reports, the sources said there was no plan for the children to sing or dance at the show.

The Recording Academy, which presents the Grammy Awards, will honor the late pop star with a Lifetime Achievement Award at the Special Merit Awards ceremony Saturday evening in Los Angeles.

Video of the presentation is likely to be included in Sunday night’s musical tribute to Jackson during the Grammy telecast, the sources said.

While Katherine Jackson, Michael’s mother, is expected to attend, Joe Jackson, his father, decided not to go because of his anger over the behind-the-scenes talks that led to the agreement to have the children accept the award.

I think Michael would have been, overwhelmingly proud of his children.

Glad I got to see it, I hope my wife don't read this.

Learn something from this, Katy. Change your Twitter password to something that even your friends can’t guess. And don’t go showing your hoohah in your younger days if you’re planning on becoming a huge celebrity.

Then as thousands of tweens watch the Robo-Lohan-Wannabe make a fool of herself, she went and pulled a Charles Barkley:

Katy Perry didn't get all warm and fuzzy for "American Idol." She and Kara DioSTFUALREADY had a disagreement that didn't end in kissing, making up and liking it.

On Tuesday the "I Kissed a Girl Singer" was a guest judge and showed no mercy. Sitting next to Kara, she repeatedly gave her the skank eye while she gushed over Chris Golightly. He had your standard sob story and Katy failed to let a case of the sads determine her vote. Kara dubbed him king of the day and Perry dubbed him "Lifetime Movie."

“Chris, you are one of my favorites today, if not my favorite … I think we may look back at this audition and go, ‘Wow,’” she told him. “You’re the kind of kid who has just enough talent and just enough of a story and pain and stuff that you’ve gone through in your life to really connect with it, and I think you’re only going to get better.”

Enter Perry to crush his curly haired dreams.

“This is not a Lifetime movie, sweetheart,” Perry sniped to DioGuardi. “You have to have talent!”

In her defense Simon agreed, but everyone gave him a golden ticket. Let's hope his story doesn't grow into a Hokey Danny Gokey factor that dominated his performances. Speaking of performances… the drama continued between Katy and Kara's.

But the real zinger came when DioGuardi began belting out Perry’s smash hit “I Kissed a Girl.” Within seconds, Perry interrupted, “Please stop before I throw my Coke in your face!” DioGuardi tried to played down their differences. “We used to be friends,” she said during the show. “We were, like, cool.”

Even if they would have started clawing at each other and doing some one on air weave snatchin' it wouldn't beat the level of awkward and comfort zone assault of the audition of this guy….

It seems that this mother is just trying to get her daughter’s love and approval. Why else would she get a tramp stamp just so her daughter can meet this tween singer?

Kristen Stewart Gets Denied At Bar

Kristen Stewart tried to pull the celebrity card to get into a bar over the weekend, but was brutally rebuffed by the bouncer, for being underage.

Kristen is only 19-years-old, which is two years shy of the drinking age. During her promotion of “Welcome To The Rileys” and “The Runaways” in Park City, Utah, she tried to get into the Ed Hardy Shoes Happy Hour event. A bouncer denied her entrance.

A spy said, “As they started walking in, the bouncer stopped them and asked for their IDs. When he informed Kristen that she couldn’t enter because she was underage, she and her friends seemed pretty surprised. Her friends tried to reason with the bouncer and told them that they just wanted to sit down and relax for 30 minutes but the bouncer still declined them. They huddled up for a few minutes, discussing what to do next and eventually left.”

I’m surprised she didn’t try to Dina Lohan her way in with “DON’T YOU KNOW WHO I AM?!??!” But, as we all know, this isn’t the first time she’s gotten herself a cold one.

ABC head honchos have canceled “Ugly Betty“!

ABC informed the cast and producers that the show’s fourth season would be its last and there’s not going to be a fifth.

According to The Ausiello Files, there’s plenty of time for the show to work on its series finale:

The good news is that ABC has given Betty's bosses enough time to craft a satisfying series finale. Exec producer Silvio Horta and ABC president Steve McPherson confirmed as much in this joint statement: "We've mutually come to the difficult decision to make this Ugly Betty's final season, and are announcing now as we want to allow the show ample time to write a satisfying conclusion. We are extremely proud of this groundbreaking series, and felt it was important to give the fans a proper farewell."

Just call them the latest victim of poor ratings.

Taylor Swift breaks the record for best first-week download sales by a female artist as “Today Was a Fairytale” shifts 325,000 as it set to debut at No. 1 on the Digital Songs chart and No. 2 on the Billboard Hot 100, both to be released tomorrow morning. Ke$ha’s “TiK ToK” will remain atop the Hot 100 for a sixth straight week.

“Fairytale,” form the upcoming film “Valentine’s Day,” in which Swift co-stars, gives her the best Hot 100 start of her career and equals her highest peak, established with “You Belong with Me” this past August. Unlike “Fairytale’s” quick ascent, “Belong” took 16 weeks to reach the runner-up slot.

Swift claims her first No. 1 on Digital Songs, having previously peaked at No. 2 with a pair of tracks; “You’re Not Sorry” (November 2008) and “Jump Then Fall” (November 2009). The only higher sales frame posted by one of her titles occurred during Christmas week 2008 (Jan 10, 2009, chart date) when “Love Story” moved 360,000 downloads.

The prior mark for largest first-week download sales by a female artist belonged to Britney Spears, who moved 286,000 units of “Womanizer” on the chart dated October, 25, 2008. The biggest opening week for a track among all artists was established by Black Eyed Peas’ “Boom Boom Pow” (465,000) in April 2009.

The Oscar winner and her brother, James Haven, have put together a heartfelt video tribute to their late mother, Marcheline Bertrand, who lost her battle with ovarian cancer three years ago at the age of 56.

A rep for Haven confirmed that he and his sis, who are both Bertrand’s children with ex Jon Voight, created the tribute with old home movies shot on a family trip to Hawaii in 1981.

“One place Marcheline loved was Hawaii,” reads a message at the beginning of the video. “She made many happy memories for her family there.”

Cut to Marcheline, James and a barely 6-year-old Angelina on the beach, learning how to hula, goofing around in their hotel room and enjoying other island pastimes as Israel Kamakawiwo’ole’s version of “Somewhere Over the Rainbow” plays in the background.

K-Reject said that his divorce from Britney Spears in 2006 triggered his depression along with his overeating problem.

He elaborated, “Once you get depressed, you don’t really feel like doing anything. You’re kind of discouraged about yourself and then the weight gain too, or that makes me more depressed. I mean, it’s a combination of all those things.”

Of his split with Britney, he added, “Everybody knows what happened with me and Brit. I’m not going to say that’s the total cause of it, I mean, just not being happy with myself was probably the main part of my depression.”

Methinks he’s just trying to use this crybaby nonsense as a way of landing another reality TV gig. But he says he’s happy. He said, “I think as time goes on, it keeps getting better and better and betteer. I mean, I’m really happy the way that my life is going right now. I really am. I think, you know, I have come a long way. All of us have…my whole family. It’s gotten so much better from where we were.”

Sure you’ve come a long way. If you consider that you’ve impregnated one of the richest singers on the planet. I guess you could say you’ve accomplished a lot.

Mel Gibson Interview Turns Nasty (Video)

Mel Gibson was left fuming during a recent US TV interview when the actor was quizzed over the alleged anti-Semitic rant he made when arrested for drunk driving in 2006.

When Sam Rubin, a reporter for KTLA 5 Los Angeles, suggested to Gibson that: “Some people will welcome you back, some people will say you should never come back.” Gibson became irate and demanded to know why, to which Rubin replied: “Because of what happened before. The remarks that were attributed to you.”

The 54-year-old actor, director, and devout Catholic then appeared to make reference to Rubin being Jewish by asking:

“I gather you have a dog in this fight? Do you have a dog in this fight? Or are you impartial?”

Gibson also seemed to suggest that his comments at the time were misrepresented saying: “I didn’t necessarily make those comments.”

A leaked Police report at the time of his arrest alleged that Gibson remarked “Jews are responsible for all the wars in the world” and that he had gone on to verbally abuse a female officer. The resulting outcry caused Gibson to apologize, quit drinking, and take a temporary hiatus from acting.

He is currently promoting ‘Edge of Darkness,’ a thriller co-staring Ray Winstone, and later on in the year will be seen in ‘The Beaver,’ a Jodie Foster directed film about a man with a toy beaver on his hand, who treats it like a living creature.

The photos were done by Mark Abrahams and also feature styling by Ilaria Urbinati. The theme of the issue is “How To Dress Like A Pop Star” and shows off celebrities who “wear their songs on their shirtsleeves.”

Michael Jackson's “This Is It” is a rare, behind-the-scenes look at the performer as he developed, created and rehearsed for his sold-out concerts at London's O2 Arena. Chronicling the months from April through June 2009, this film was produced with the full support of the Estate of Michael Jackson and drawn from more than one hundred hours of behind-the-scenes footage featuring Jackson rehearsing a number of his songs for the show.

In raw and candid detail, Michael Jackson's “This Is It” captures the singer, dancer, filmmaker, architect, creative genius and great artist at work as he creates and perfects his planned final London shows.

According to sources, Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie will not be attending this year’s Oscars ceremony together. And you thought their breakup was just a rumor?

According to “E! News”, don’t be expecting the couple to walk the red carpet on March 7th together, despite rumors that they haven’t actually broken up.

Howard Stern commented that he knows for a fact that the duo are no longer together. He said that he knows people and that he knows this to be fact. He also said that even though Angelina Jolie is the most beautiful woman he’s ever seen that Brad should have known better since Billy Bob Thornton, a man who has a fear of antiques and only eats orange food, said that she had too many problems for him.

You know you’re weird when Billy Bob wants nothing to do with you. And it’s telling how Brad’s brother wants him to ditch her.

A very young Lady Gaga fan, was accidentally strangled, while dancing around in her bedroom.

Megan Williams, 10, was dancing to Lady Gaga songs when she put the belt to her dressing gown around her neck. The cord, which was tied to a bunk bed, tightened as she danced around and strangled her to death.

The alarm was raised when her 15-year old brother ran downstairs to their mother Lisa saying: ‘Megan’s hanged herself.’

A coroner said the accident graphically illustrated the dangers of children playing around with cords.

Mrs. Williams said said the children tied the dressing gown to the bunk bed and would often swing from it.

“The kids also used to tie the cord to the bunk bed to swing from one bed to another. I did actually cut it down once but they just put it up again. One time I put the cord in the bin. Then they must of taken it out and put it up again.”

Her brother discovered her lifeless body hanging from the dressing gown cord and immediately told his mother.

Britney Spears Will Auction 2008 VMA Dress For Haiti

On Friday, Britney Spears was granted permission by a judge to auction off one of the dresses she wore to the 2008 VMAs to raise funds for Haiti relief. The pop singer was in court to discuss the status of the conservatorship under her father, Jamie, that has been in place for two years.

“She is very enthusiastic about making a donation for the Haiti relief,” her lawyer, Samuel Ingham, told Commissioner Reva Goetz. No additional information was given about how and where the dress will be auctioned off, or which charity would benefit from it. At the 2008 VMAs, Brit dazzled in two silver dresses and she hasn’t specified which would be auctioned.

According to The Associated Press, Spears’ father was also granted permission by Goetz to auction off various property and assets belonging to the pop star that no longer benefit the estate, much of which was from the Circus tour.

Brit reportedly did not speak at the portion of the hearing that was open to the media. It was her first status meeting since completing her tour. In the meeting, it was decided that no change would be made to Spears’ conservatorship.

Spears’ auction follows several other efforts by celebrities to raise money for Haiti. Friday night’s “Hope for Haiti” telethon raised $61 million as of this morning.

What? This is a man who wore gold lame shorts and announced to the world that he was f—king Jimmy Kimmel. This is a man who was a part of the Kevin Smith movie babies that involve Jay and Silent Bob and has "Mall Rats" on his resume. Yet, he is embarrassed by his gorgeous wife, Jennifer Garner?

Garner, who has the beauty of a 100 fairies and the patience of a Saint, revealed a little too much in her interview with Parade Magazine. Jen went into her past divorce from Scott Foley and talked about Ben's attempt to woo her.

"Well, it helped that we were both single at the time. He's a very good writer."

So did he woo you with letters?

"Don't make assumptions. I didn't say that! Okay…e-mail. He's a very persuasive writer."

She didn't mention that his pet name was Small Wonder (just a guess) or that he asked her to dress up as a Judge Judy, but he was still not happy about it.

“I do write e-mails to my wife, that is true. Sounds like the kind of thing that my wife was looking for something to say in the interview… and that's what she came up with. So, thanks for that, because now here I am, doing another interview and then they ask me about that. So, thank you honey."

Embarrassment? Really? Two words for you Benny….Reindeer Games.

American Idol Hopeful Cut After Father Squeals

Michael Lynche is no longer a hopeful for the title of American Idol. He was a part of the coveted Top 24 spots, but the singer's father spoiled his chances. Lynche, also known as Big Mike, will no longer be able to compete after his dad unwittingly shared his son's success with a local paper and thus broke the confidentiality rules.

Reportedly, he has already been replaced by one of the Top 50 qualifiers. This is the second missed opportunity for the family. Big Mike's older brother, Marque Lynche Jr., made it to the semi-finals in 2004. However, he didn't make the Final 12 round and was cut.

This is quite sad due to the fact that the Top 24 list has already leaked anyway. Let's hope he finds another opportunity. At least he doesn't have to buy his dad a Father's Day gift this year. I mean, you could milk that out for years!
