The X-Factor judge has finally admitted that he and his fiancée Mezhgan Hussainy are pretty much broken up. Recently, Cowell revealed in an interview, "We have had a break from each other, and we are still incredibly close. I’m vulnerable. It’s not on, it’s not off, it’s somewhere in the middle. I don’t know if I will ever get married, but I am happy." Apparently, Simon regrets calling Hussainy "The One" is his interview with Piers Morgan saying, “I have been pretty good about not talking about my private stuff, but I got caught up in the moment.” The couple got engaged in February of 2010, it's been two years but it looks like it may be over. What do you get the girl who has everything … how about her money back? Britney Spears is said to be getting married soon and her dad, Jamie, is getting her the gift that keeps on giving, money! According to reports, Daddy Spears wants to end the conservatorship he has over his daughter's finances and wealth. “Jamie wants to go to court in early February so Britney will be a free woman in every sense when she marries,” says a source. Apparently, Jamie intends to give Britney control of her own finances by the time she gets married to Jason Trawick on Valentine's Day. Although Britney will have control of her own income, the conservatorship will still remain in place for any business dealings. Good thinking Jamie. It's been four years since Britney's infamous public meltdown and according to a source, “Britney now recognizes that if her father hadn’t stepped in and taken the action that he had, well… Britney is now crediting Jamie for saving her life." Britney and Jason are expected to wed on the island of Maui on February 14th. |

Cavallari and Chicago Bears quarterback, Jay Cutler have released a joint statement announcing that they are expecting. “We are thrilled to announce we are expecting our first child together.” “It’s an amazing time in our life and we can’t wait to meet the new addition to our growing family.” Cavalleri and Cutler broke off their engagement last July, but rekindled their relationship in November and have now re-engaged. Looks like the love is back in full force! Congrats Kristin and Jay! |

Steven Tyler performed the national anthem during Sunday’s AFC Championship football game. Steven performed the patriotic song at Gillette Stadium in Foxboro, Massachusetts before the game between the New England Patriots and the Baltimore Ravens. Tyler showed his hometown team pride by wearing a sequined Patriots scarf, but some have complained about his rendition of the song. FOX Sports compared his Sunday night performance to Janet Jackson‘s infamous nip slip at the Super Bowl XXXVIII halftime show. “Steven Tyler far more obscene than Janet Jackson’s t*tty,” the journalist wrote on his Twitter. To me, he sang it like he would any other song … like a rock star. After the game, Tyler joined the Patriots while they celebrated their win. |

Tonight is a special Sunday edition of American Idol. The show will air right after tonight’s New York/San Francisco Football game. American Idol claims they are kicking it up a notch this year with more talent than they have had in previous season. However, ratings were down for the first two episodes by 20% from Wednesday night’s premiere – 28% from its first Thursday broadcast last year! The Voice airs February 5th right after the Super Bowl so Idol is going to have to kick it up more than a notch if they want to win the ratings war.
