This weeks X-Factor results show opened with a joyous and energetic We Will Rock You, it closed with anger and tears. The X Factor’s final 10 acts all hoped they rocked hard enough on Wednesday to earn America’s support which, this week, differed from the judges’ opinions. After much deliberation among the judges about Astro’s immature attitude and Stacy’s poor showings the last two weeks, Simon got to cast the final vote. “I really don’t want to do this,” said Simon, looking at Astro. “I’m gonna send home Stacy,” who then went on to thank the judges and praise her journey. But… Astro’s a little brat, right? The X Factor experienced its own bit of drama this week after reports surfaced attacking Stacy Francis for allegedly having a successful music career before coming on the show and then an ousted contestant, Dexter Haygood, claimed his elimination last week was rigged. After tonight’s show, Simon addressed the controversy, “I think it’s going to help her,” Cowell said. “It does feel like she’s being picked on a bit. We never said you couldn’t have had a career in the past. It’s absurd. She never hid it from us. The public could care less.” He also adds that Francis has been dealing with setbacks her whole life and this is nothing new. “She always said somebody was always standing in her way saying, ‘You’re not good enough.’ It’s happened all her life. The public couldn’t care less.” ‘The X Factor‘ airs next Tuesday and Wednesday at 8PM ET on Fox. |
| Anne Hathaway Protests Occupy Wall Street (Photo) Posted: 17 Nov 2011 05:58 PM PST Anne Hathaway was among the crowd that gathered at Union Square for an Occupy Wall Street demonstration. Activists campaigning against corporate greed staged a high-profile march on Thursday to mark the movement’s two-month anniversary and the actress was spotted among the hundreds who descended upon Manhattan’s Union Square to demand change.  A photo of Hathaway dressed in a hooded raincoat and sunglasses was posted on Twitter by a fellow protester, who wrote, “Anne Hathaway supports students! Love!” Another fan told E News, “I did not approach her but it was clearly her. Other folks near me recognized her too but were very respectful.” Susan Sarandon, Naomi Klein, and Michael Moore are among the high-profile figures who have spent time at Occupy Wall Street protests in New York since the movement began in September. |

Demi Moore has announced she will divorce Ashton Kutcher. Like we didn’t see this one coming!
“This is a trying time for me and my family, and so I would ask for the same compassion and privacy that you would give to anyone going through a similar situation.” Never one to hold back his opinion, Ashton jumped on Twitter to say, “I will forever cherish the time I spent with Demi. Marriage is one of the most difficult things in the world and unfortunately sometimes they fail. Love and Light, AK” Love and Light? |
| Tori Spelling’s Husband Accidentally Tweets Her Breasts (Photo) Posted: 17 Nov 2011 09:50 AM PST Dean McDermott committed a major felony, when he posted a photo which shows his wife Tori Spelling‘s breasts! Dean took the photo of their son Liam goofing off for the camera, but he inadvertently snapped Tori’s breasts in the background.  No mention was made as to whether the breasts belonged to the former "Beverly Hills 90210" star or not, but he has since removed the photo. I’m guessing he’s gonna be in a bit of trouble. Just when you thought all this crap was finally over! Justin Bieber‘s alleged baby mama, Mariah Yeater apparently sent a text to a friend, begging him to erase another text message in which her mom admits someone other than Justin fathered her child. She then promises to give him a cut of the money, as soon as she scores. In the text, Yeater pleads for John to “ERASE ALL MESSAGES from my mom.” She’s mentally insane, right? “This information proves Mariah Yeater fabricated the story,” said Justin Bieber’s lawyer, Howard Weitzman. “Our independent investigation indicates Ms. Yeater never meet Justin, she has consistently identified another man as the child’s father, and Ms. Yeater and her co-conspirators hatched this scheme in order to extort money from him and to sell her story to the media.” “There have been no settlement discussions and there never will be,” Weitzman said. Bieber’s team have said they intend to sue Yeater and her lawyers for defamation. Yeater’s original lawyers have dropper her as a client, and she has retained another attorney who has said he will go forward with her paternity suit. |

A fan took the ‘Piece of Me’ singer’s lyrics way too seriously, when he actually bit Britney on the leg!  As Britney performed her provocative ‘Lace and Leather’ in Rio de Janeiro, she indulged in her customary on stage lap dance. During the racy performance, a lucky fan gets the honor of having the pop icon straddle and grind all up on him or her in front of the audience. During said regular lap dance routine, Brit has surprised fans, her boyfriend Jason Trawick, Joe Jonas [here] and ‘Jersey Shore’s Pauly D [here] with an erotic dance.
