 Monday is NATIONAL Pi Day! In honor of the special day, Morton's Steakhouse is offering their signature key lime pie for $3.14. YUM! See locations here. When: March 14, 2011  Start your St. Patty's celebrations early at the second annual St. Patrick's Day Festival in Hollywood. The festival, $50, is all you can drink and eat. You'll find Irish sausages, beer and even entertainment from Irish dancers. Green beer anyone? When: March 12, 2011 Taking the day off to celebrate the luck of the Irish? Head over to Casey's Irish Pub at 6:00am for drinks and fabulous pub food. I wouldn't expect anything less from Casey's Irish Pub on St. Patty's Day! When: March 17, 2011 starting at 6:00am Lola's Restaurant will be serving Irish inspired drinks and dishes for St. Patty's Day. You'll find green beer, $5 pints of Guinness, $7 corn beef and cabbage tacos and much much more. Delicious! When: March 17, 2011 starting at 6:00am Head over to Pig 'N Whistle at noon on the 17th for a St. Patty's Day Beer Festival. Drink specials include $3 draft beers and $5 cocktails. | Justin Timberlake & Jessica Biel Split After 4 Years Posted: 11 Mar 2011 12:12 PM PST After four years together, former NSYNC-er Justin Timberlake and actress Jessica Biel have broken up. According to ‘sources close to the couple’ the split was amicable and mutual. But I smell BULLSH!T!
Apparently, the pair have been on shaky ground since Jessica threw Justin a surprise birthday party for him in January. At the party, Jessica gave a mushy-mushy speech to honor her man. His response to the toast? 'Yeah bitches!' HE SAID WHAT? WOW, way to be insensitive to the woman that loves you dude. SO not cool! So anywho, my guess is that he wasn’t into her anymore, and eventually she got the hint and bailed. But that’s just my theory. |
| ‘Twilight’ Cast Evacuated Due To Tsunami Warning Posted: 11 Mar 2011 11:48 AM PST Earlier today, Japan was rocked by a devastating 8.9 magnitude earthquake which caused massive damage and took many lives. The resulting tsunami warnings have people on the Pacific coast of North American on alert as well.
In Vancouver, Canada, news reports speculate that tsunami waves may hit the shores and reach up to six feet high. Because of the warnings, the cast and crew of Twilight: Breaking Dawn have closed up shop and headed to higher ground. Actress Tinsel Korey who plays Emily in the franchise tweeted this earlier in the day:
I hope they all made it out alright. I’m sure that everyone made it out of the area ok, otherwise we’d have heard about the ‘end of twilight’ or something of the sort. |
| Charlie Sheen’s House Raided By Police Posted: 11 Mar 2011 11:27 AM PST Yesterday, police searched Charlie Sheen‘s home looking for weapons and ammunition. The only thing found was an old rifle from the 1800′s and a couple of bullets. The search came as a result of someone (person unknown) calling police and informing them that Charlie had a gun.
According to a restraining order held by Sheen’s ex Brooke Mueller, he is not allowed to possess weapons. Charlie and some friends sat outside in the backyard while the search of the house was going on. After the police concluded their search and left, the actor tweeted “#fastball; the LAPD were AWESOME. Absolute pros! they can protect and serve this Warlock anytime!!! c”. Earlier speculation that the actor would be placed under a 5150 psychiatric hold are false. |
| Johnny Knoxville To Star In ‘The Three Stooges’? Posted: 11 Mar 2011 09:15 AM PST The film making team of Peter and Bobby Farrelly are moving ahead with a big screen modernization of the classic comedy trio The Three Stooges! Larry, Moe, and Curly are gonna make you howl with laughter. So who’s in the running to star in the flick?
Why Johnny Knoxville of course! The king Jackass himself is currently in talks to star as Moe Howard in the upcoming comedy. I can’t tell you how funny it’ll be to see Knoxville in that ridiculous haircut of Moe’s! It was originally reported that heavyweights Benicio Del Toro, Sean Penn and Jim Carrey had their eyes on starring as the infamously funny trio. But it seems likely that with Knoxville starring that the film makers are looking to generate a younger movie going crowd. The Three Stooges will hit theaters sometime in 2012 |
| Jon Cryer Responds to Charlie Sheen (Video) Posted: 11 Mar 2011 08:33 AM PST Last night on twitter, Conan O’Brien posted a snippet from the latest episode of his talk show. The snippet had Charlie Sheen‘s Two and a Half Men co-star Jon Cryer responding to Sheen’s allegations of Cryer being a troll… Too funny!
Earlier this week, Charlie Sheen took pot shots at his onscreen brother, calling him a “turncoat, and a troll”. All because Cryer did not contact Sheen regarding his recent dismissal from the hit sitcom. Since the show’s indefinite hiatus, Cryer has appeared on Ellen Degeneres’s show pretending to be an intern. At least Jon can laugh at himself. That’s always a good thing. |
