| Amanda Seyfried in ‘Red Riding Hood’ - First Look! Posted: 12 Nov 2010 05:37 PM PST The lovely Amanda Seyfried dons the red cape in this re-telling/re-imagining of the classic fairy tale. Inside the latest issue of Entertainment Weekly, on sale now, you can find the first two official photos from the film.
The director of the first Twilight film, Catherine Hardwicke, directs an impressive cast of players in what is said to be a darker telling of the classic story. Starring alongside Seyfried are Gary Oldman, Lukas Haas, Billy Burke, Julie Christie, and Virginia Madsen. With so much talent on board for this project, you’ve pretty much guaranteed a hit right? Well, I’m not too sure of that… As a huge fan of Stephenie Meyer’s Twilight novels, I was mortified at what ‘director’ Hardwicke did with the first film. In fact I had sworn off seeing the remaining films because of her shoddy job. When I found out she’d been canned for the remaining movies, I saw a light at the end of an otherwise dismal tunnel. So I guess we’ll see what happens with Red Riding Hood when it hits theaters next March. Who knows, maybe this can be her redemption. Oh hell, I hope so… I love Gary Oldman too much to see him fail in what should be a perfect fit for him. What’s your take? do you think Hardwicke can lead the cast and make a good film here? | Child Protective Services Takes Leah Away From Amber Portwood Posted: 12 Nov 2010 12:53 PM PST CPS has removed baby Leah from the home of “Teen Mom” star Amber Portwood and have placed her with her father, Gary Shirley. Amber opened up about the incident, saying that CPS thought it would be safer for Leah to be with her dad because of all of the photographers surrounding her house.  Amber rose to notoriety after it surfaced on the MTV show that she was abusing her ex-fiancee, Gary. Amber said that she’s currently taking medications to cope with anxiety and depression and says that being away from her daughter “is the lowest of the low. Every night she’s been saying, ‘Where’s Mommy?’” She went on to say, “I feel like everything is spinning out of control, and I’m trying to put the pieces back together. | Jessica Simpson Copycats Mariah Carey Posted: 12 Nov 2010 11:22 AM PST Someone actually let Jessica Simpson in control of her new Christmas album and they probably shouldn’t have. She has just released a new song called, “My Only Wish (For Christmas Is You)” and it’s a blatant copy of Mariah Carey’s Christmas song, “All I Want For Christmas Is You.”  You can tell how much she actually ripped off of Mariah, but it’s a truly sad attempt. Listen to Jessica’s song and then Mariah’s for comparison. After hearing Mariah’s beautiful pitch and skills, how can Jessica even hope to compare? The short answer? She can’t. | Justin Bieber Injures Himself At Cleveland Show Posted: 12 Nov 2010 09:23 AM PST Justin Bieber performed in Cleveland last night and twisted his knee! The sixteen-year-old singer brought his My World tour to the mistake by the lake (I can say that, I’m from here) and injured himself during his show. The show must go on for Justin, though, because he didn’t even stop the concert. Bieber is a soldier!  He was later seen limping after the 90 minute show. He hasn’t updated anyone on his status as of yet, but we’re sure he’s going to be just fine. Reportedly, he told the local media, “I twisted my knee pretty bad.” There have been no official updates, as we’ve checked his official Facebook and Twitter accounts. | Angelina Pivarnick Fails As A Singer (Audio) Posted: 12 Nov 2010 09:10 AM PST Angelina Pivarnick should never, EVER be let near a microphone ever again! Her new song, which she tried to hide, has leaked and we’ve got the audio. The song is called, “I’m Hot” and it’s just the opposite of that. Cold, crappy and belongs in a museum for the world of suck. Seriously, believe me, if you listen to it, your ears might bleed. If you want to risk it, don’t blame us. Allieiswired takes no responsibility for actions that you take of your own free will.  Since getting kicked off of “Jersey Shore”, she has really just tried to make a new name for herself. It’s just sad that she was trying to go the way of recording artist, because that’s obviously not going to pan out for her in the near future. Poor thing, no one told her how bad she sounds. | Gwyneth Paltrow Performs ‘Forget You’ On ‘Glee’ - Video Posted: 12 Nov 2010 08:58 AM PST Gwyneth Paltrow has shocked me. I had no idea that she had any singing talent. Since I didn’t watch the CMAs, (not a fan of country music), I wasn’t privvy to this information. But the girl has talent!! She sang the censored version of Cee Lo Green’s song, “F*ck You”, “Forget You”, on “Glee” and we’ve got the sneak peek!  Check out her performance of the hit song, below: I hate to admit it, but I actually like this version of the song better than the original. She can really bust some tunes. Good for her.
