| ‘Dancing With The Stars’ Week Eight Elimination Recap Posted: 09 Nov 2010 05:53 PM PST On tonight’s episode of “Dancing With The Stars”, the judges asked to see Kyle Massey and Lacey Schwimmer perform their Viennese Waltz again to “Good Golly Miss Molly”. It was just announced that Kyle and Lacey are safe. Of course they are, the judges loved their dance.  Taio Cruz and John Legend performed songs from their new albums. Jennifer Grey and Derek Hough are safe, leaving Kurt Warner and Anna Trebunskaya in jeopardy. This episode of the show is nothing but a bunch of fluff, with this Dance Center stuff. I am seriously bored to tears tonight. Something tells me that I could fall asleep and wake up five minutes before the show is over and still know what happened tonight. Oh the thrill! Bristol Palin and Mark Ballas are safe! WHAT?!?!? Out of Brandy and Maks and Kurt and Anna, the couple that was eliminated tonight was Kurt and Anna! What did you think of the results?? |
| Bret Michaels Denies Tish Cyrus Affair - Video Posted: 09 Nov 2010 05:21 PM PST Earlier this month, it was said that Billy Ray Cyrus filed for divorce from his wife Tish because she was hooking up with the main bandana lovin’ man, Bret Michaels. Reportedly, he asked Tish if she wanted to stay in the house and continue rockin’ his world… Until today, Bret kept mum on the topic of Tish.  Now, he has issued a firm denial on the affair rumors, silencing the tabloids who started that the two of them hooked up. Bret rebuffed the rumors, saying that he has been friends with the Cyrus family “forever”. When asked if he was banging Miley’s mom, he said, “The answer is no. It started out with me and Miley simply working on a song together. Her mom, Tish, likes ‘Every Rose Has Its Thorn’, the first concert Miley ever saw was Poison, and so they wanted to remake it for the new record.” Check out the video: He added, “When I was in the studio, Miley came in and sang on my song, a song I wrote for my album, ‘Custom Built’, and she came over and sang on that and honestly, she did a beautiful job, and that was it. | People’s Choice Awards Nominees Announced Posted: 09 Nov 2010 01:07 PM PST The People’s Choice Awards nominees list was announced today. Johnny Depp, Leonardo DiCaprio, Robert Downey Jr., Robert Pattinson, & Taylor Lautner are all competing for ‘Favorite Movie Actor’, while Angelina Jolie, Jennifer Aniston, Julia Roberts, Katherine Heigl, & Kristen Stewart are all up for ‘Fave Movie Actress’.
For the ‘Favorite Movie’ category, I noticed that only one original film made the cut. I guess that proves that the movie going public prefers remakes, reboots, and sequels to films that break new ground.
The noms for ‘Favorite Movie’ are; Alice in Wonderland, Inception, Iron Man 2, Toy Story 3, and The Twilight Saga: Eclipse, and I’m saddened that pseudo-biopic The Social Network was not nominated for this category. It was in my opinion one of the best films of the year. It was in fact nominated for ‘Favorite Drama Movie’, but then again, so was Twilight… uh huh… For a full list of nominees, check out the source link. | Demi Lovato & Wilmer Valderrama Dated Posted: 09 Nov 2010 12:11 PM PST Once Demi Lovato was scorned by Joe Jonas, she found comfort in the arms of “That 70’s Show” star She was even introducing him to her friends as her boyfriend. I guess she must not have been too hurt by Joe…  It seems like an odd pairing, considering he’s 30 and she’s only 18-years-old. But this does remind me of this blind item that was speculated on recently:
Could it be Demi? Of their relationship, a source said, “The two started seeing each other in May right after her breakup with Jonas. She would show us pictures of them together.” Another spy close to the Disney starlet said that Wilmer had been a big part of her life right up to the moment she sought treatment. | 50 Cent Joins Keenan Cahill For ‘Down On Me’ Video Posted: 09 Nov 2010 11:56 AM PST Youtube sensation Keenan Cahill has become known for his poor lip-syncing ability, but he’s been elevated to celebrity status…and he’s not even a teenager yet! 50 Cent joined the Youtube star for their rendition of the song, “Down On Me” by Jeremih. At around 1:25 in the video, Fiddy joins him and raps, while Keenan tries to look gangster.  At one point in the video, 50 lends Keenan his chain, which he later admitted as to being very heavy. The video comes from Keenan’s television debut on “Chelsea Lately”. Check out the video of their duet, below: I don’t know what it was that I just watched. Awesome or just terrible? | Introducing Disney Star Anna Margaret! Posted: 09 Nov 2010 11:39 AM PST While Miley Cyrus is just about all grown up, there’s a new Disney starlet to fill her shoes. Introducing the newest addition to the Disney team, Anna Margaret! She’s 14, does a ton of volunteer work and has a really cool single coming out. She’s the youngest singer to be signed to Hollywood Records, which is also the same label as Miley, Demi Lovato and the Jonas Brothers.  Per the official press release:

| Emma Watson Seeking Source of Topless Photo Posted: 09 Nov 2010 10:58 AM PST Emma Watson is apparently shocked that a reportedly fake image of her with just a towel around her waist is being e-mailed among her classmates at Brown University. According to the Daily Mail, Emma is trying to seek out the source of the image so she can put a stop to it. She claims the picture is a fake.  [image source] Emma’s spokesman said: “There have been a number of nude fakes over the past two months. Emma has seen them and finds them tiresome. People should know better.” This comes days after Emma gave a candid interview to Marie Claire, during which she called her friends at Brown “protective.”

| Conan O’Brien Makes His Television Return - Video Posted: 09 Nov 2010 08:44 AM PST Conan O’Brien made his return to television last night on his new show for TBS, “Conan”. Of course, in true Conan fashion, he made some super funny jabs at his previous network, NBC. In his opening skit, he shows us what it felt like when he left “The Tonight Show” and NBC. The skit details mobster-like men following him and shooting at him with guns and he ends up in the hospital…in a cast.  He then does an interview with Jon Hamm dressed as Don Draper from “Mad Men”, but is brutally rebuffed. Don said, “It says that you have absolutely no advertising experience. Plus, it’s 1965…and you’re two-years-old. Get out of my office.” He then takes a job at Burger King where he gets his butt chewed out by a customer over sweet and sour sauce. This prompts him to want to jump off of a bridge, when Larry King appears to him as an angel. He saves the day with two words, “Basic cable.” Check out the video of his opening: Too funny. | Kanye West Serenades Passengers - Video Posted: 09 Nov 2010 08:21 AM PST Now that Kanye West is basically taking full credit for launching Taylor Swift into superstardom, he’s also taking to the friendly skies — to rap for people. Kanye treated a flight full of people to an impromptu performance of his hit songs, “Gold Digger” and “The Good Life” on a flight from Minneapolis to New York City on November 5th.  A passenger aboard the flight said, “I had to pass through First Class to get my seat in Economy, and I saw Kanye sitting there with a little drink in his hand. I wouldn’t have even thought it was him, but he was sitting with a very PR-looking lady.” The passenger went on to reveal that all of the passengers freaked out when they heard Kanye take over the loudspeaker a half an hour later. He added, “He was like, ‘Yo, this is your n***a, Kanye.’ Then he couldn’t decide if he wanted to do ‘The Good Life’ or ‘Gold Digger’, so he was like, ‘I’ll just do a little bit of both.’ It was awesome…but I still have no idea how he got into the cockpit.” I know how he got in there. He told someone who he was and they gave him carte blanche to do whatever he wanted. Still, the passenger said that he was mostly surprised when Kanye departed with the rest of the passengers, instead of getting off of the flight first.
