| Erik Lingvall & Didi Snyder Launch ‘The Acting Camp’ For Aspiring Kids Posted: 04 Nov 2010 07:53 PM PDT A select group of young talent and their parents will have the opportunity to learn from some of the very finest in film and television at The Acting Camp's inaugural weekend getaway, to be held at El Capitan Canyon Resort in Santa Barbara next spring. In addition to gaining essential on-camera skills, these young actors will have the opportunity to perform prepared scenes in front of 10 top casting directors, from networks like Disney, Nick, CW and CBS.  The Acting Camp is the premier acting camp for kids, teens, and parents and is now accepting applications. With limited space available, only 64 participants will be selected for the spring camp. Applications must be received by December 13th. (Submit Here) The Acting Camp is the brainchild of Erik Lingvall, a former actor and one of the entertainment industry's most prominent talent scouts, and Didiayer Snyder, a television host and team designer on ABC's Emmy winning Extreme Makeover Home Edition.  Lingvall and Didiayer will be joined by an array of elite industry insiders, such as top youth agent Margot Menzel (clients include: Demi Lovato, Miranda Cosgrove, Taylor Lautner, Miley Cyrus), premier LA acting coach Patrick Malone (clients include: Kevin Mchale-GLEE, Michael Welch-Twilight, Kevin Alejandro-True Blood, Nolan Gould-Modern Family), and casting directors like Ruth Lambert (Wizards of Waverly Place), Harriett Greenspan (True Jackson VP), David Rappaport (90210, Gossip Girl), Krisha Bullock (iCarly, Zoey 101), Francine Maisler Casting (Hancock, Spiderman 3), Joey Paul Jenson (That's So Raven, Cory in the House) and Carol Goldwasser (Hannah Montana, I'm in the Band).
"The Acting Camp," he says, "is different from other acting programs in that we provide a very personalized and informative approach for both the child and parent, while also creating a magical weekend that allows for both to bond and learn together. This truly is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity for kids and parents to have fun while spending the weekend together and learning about how to launch a successful career in the entertainment industry," he adds. | Halle Berry Wears Prosthetics On the set of ‘Truth Or Dare’ - Photo Posted: 04 Nov 2010 02:49 PM PDT Halle Berry obviously takes her comedy roles seriously. Just take this scene from her new movie, “Truth Or Dare”. You can see from her face, that something went horribly wrong with some plastic surgery for her character. She’s sporting prosthetics to show that she’s had cheek implants and a lip job ala Lisa Rinna.  [image credit: splash news] It appears that the whole self-improvement thing has gone too far, as she was also seen sporting some ginormous boobs. It’s funny, but it also shows you that she doesn’t take herself too seriously as an actress. I may have to see this just for Halle.
Perhaps her character has all of this plastic surgery to either impress this sexy college friend or to shield herself from being identified as the embezzler. | New Michael Jackson Album Being Released Posted: 04 Nov 2010 01:02 PM PDT A couple of days ago, we heard that a new Michael Jackson album was being released, but it was contentious with his family, because some (his kids, especially) said that some of the tracks weren’t really Michael. Now, we’ve just gotten word that they are, in fact, releasing an album of new material from the King of Pop. Exciting news!  Fans will have the chance to judge for themselves whether or not it’s the real deal, as the album, titled “Michael”, is set for a planned release date of December 14, 2010. Fans can expect a new teaser for the project on MichaelJackson.com tomorrow, while his new song, “Breaking News”, will be streamed on the site on November 8, 2010, for an entire week.

| Demi Lovato’s Victim, Alex Welch - Photos Posted: 04 Nov 2010 10:37 AM PDT Demi Lovato recently checked into rehab, after allegedly having a physical altercation with one of her backup dancers, Alex Welch. Now, we’ve gotten more photos of Demi’s alleged victim. Check out another photo of Alex HERE, where you can see the bruising from this “reported” altercation.  Instead of laying the blame on Joe Jonas and Ashley Greene, Demi was really just battling her own inner demons. The fight, as it turns out, was said to be the catalyst in Demi’s decision to seek treatment.  Check out the video, below, to see Alex backing up Demi while she sings “Can’t Back Down” on “Good Morning America” in May. I hope for Demi’s sake, that Alex doesn’t plan on suing her. But don’t get your hopes up just yet! In truth, the twosome were only talking about starring in a movie together. Leo is said to have been cast as Jay Gatsby in the new adaptation of “The Great Gatsby”, while Blake is being considered for the role of his love interest, Daisy Buchanan.  A spy at the dinner said, “It was an eight person dinner”, adding that director Baz Luhrmann was also there. He’s remaking the classic movie and is seeking out his cast. Reportedly, his “whole crew was there.” The snitch added that Blake and Leo “didn’t leave together.” What would you think of them as a couple?
