| Wired Exclusive: On the Set of Law & Order: Los Angeles Posted: 24 Sep 2010 09:57 PM PDT While visiting the new Law & Order: Los Angeles set, Christopher Misiano (Executive Producer) and René Balcer (Executive Producer) gave Allie Is Wired a wonderful view of what this new series is about and how viewers will feel at home with each and every episode. Even if you don’t live in the City of Angels, the realness that the cast and directors will bring to you, will keep you coming back for more.  The cast includes: Skeet Ulrich (Detective Rex Winters), Corey Stoll (Detective Tomas "T.J." Jaruszalski), Alfred Molina (Deputy DA Ricardo Morales), Regina Hall (Deputy DA Evelyn Price), Terrence Howard (Deputy DA Jonah "Joe" Dekker), and Megan Boone (Deputy DA Lauren Stanton) Executive Producer Christopher Misiano expresses that the original Law & Order “the mother ship” will be strongly felt within each episode. But, you will definitely see the upbeat pace the new cast has set. Misiano describes the vibe and feel is like your local house band the “Red Hot chili Peppers.” It’s all set in a very comfortable environment and a lot of care was taken in creating each part of the set. Doing their best replicate some exact sites down to each nook and cranny. Alfred Molina (Deputy DA Ricardo Morales), describes his character as a son of immigrants, in search of the “California promise”. Being an immigrant himself, he could relate to the character. Molina said his character was the first to go to college and graduate. Achieving his dreams of being successful. But, has a “chip on his shoulder because of his families hardships.” Molina took his characters role “close to heart” and enjoys working with the “family like” cast. Regina Hall (Deputy DA Evelyn Price) describes her role as challenging. She said that there was a “learning curve” for her, because this character is totally different than any she has portrayed in her career. Hall’s character is the distinction between law and justice. Also, acting as the active “conscious” of Molina’s character. Hall and Molina both expressed that they enjoy working together. Balcer explained that each episode will take place within various local Los Angeles neighborhoods: El Sereno, Hondo Field and Sylmar just to name a few. You will see the entire city base including some major landmarks. There will be episodes with cold cases, gangs and more issues that LAPD has to deal with on a daily basis. He and Misiano agree that the casting dynamic was very well done. Each actor chosen for each character definitely fit the part.   
You will also see a major difference in this series, as compared to other series’ Law & Order: SVU (Special Victims Unit) etc. Law & Order: Los Angeles will concentrate in the fields of Robbery and Homicide. There will also be actual Police detectives and other law enforcement personnel cast. Giving the uniqueness that “LOLA” is branding itself to be. Be sure to check out Law & Order: Los Angeles the exciting new series from Wolf Films and Universal Media Studios. Premiering on Wednesday, September 29th (10:00 p.m. ET/PT) on NBC. |
| Lauren Conrad Confirms MTV Return Posted: 24 Sep 2010 10:59 AM PDT When she was whisked away in a limo on her final episode of “The Hills”, we were sure that was the last time Lauren Conrad would appear on MTV. But we’re hearing that she has already confirmed that she’s making her return to the network.  Obviously Lauren only needed to take a break from all of the hoopla, put out a book or two and then get back to reality television. She’s expected to make her return to MTV in a new reality show! In a new interview with Ryan Seacrest, she confirmed the exciting news. Tell the truth, wasn’t she the only reason anyone watched “The Hills”? I surely wasn’t watching for Spencer Pratt and Heidi Montag’s shenanigans. Will you watch her new reality show? | Ashton Kutcher Mistress, Demi’s Friend? Posted: 24 Sep 2010 09:03 AM PDT Brittney Jones has basically become a household name since the news broke that she and Ashton Kutcher allegedly had sex. Now we’re hearing that she and wife, Demi Moore, were actually friends! Wait, what?  Brittney was bragging to friends that she hooked up with a celebrity, but kept hush hush on his identity. Now, a new source says that Brittney even claims to be friends with Demi. Somehow I doubt this one.
So, don’t believe what we read about Hollywood marriages, eh? What about the united front that Demi and Ashton have put on ever since the scandal broke? | Lindsay Lohan Back in Custody, Denied Bail Posted: 24 Sep 2010 08:33 AM PDT Lindsay Lohan is back in custody, after Judge Elden Fox shockingly denied her bail — and Lindsay could be sitting there until October 22nd! Lindsay was in court because she failed two drug tests, in one she tested positive for cocaine and the other for Adderall. Judge Fox did not hear any argument from the lawyers before making his ruling. I guess Michael Lohan was denied his freedom of speech as well. As much as he annoys me, you have to admit he have balls. He knows he’s hated, yet he still shows up. Lindsay was handcuffed in court before being taken into custody. As for Lindsay’s reaction — she was shocked when the judge remanded her into custody. Lindsay looked at her lawyer, Shawn Chapman Holly, before being taken out of the courtroom.   Both Dina Lohan and Michael Lohan were in attendance — Dina sure looks pissed, eh? |
| Jasmine Villegas Talks About Justin Bieber (Video) Posted: 24 Sep 2010 06:52 AM PDT Justin Bieber’s rumored new sweetheart, Jasmine Villegas, gushed to cameras about the teen heartthrob in a recent interview, calling him an “outgoing”, “funny”, “great” person. The 16-year-old R&B/pop singer, who was reportedly caught kissing Bieber in the backseat of a car earlier this month, raved to Tiger Beat magazine about the Canadian poster child.
