| ‘Dancing With The Stars’ Week One Elimination Recap Posted: 21 Sep 2010 06:05 PM PDT It’s anyone’s guess as to who’s going to be getting the boot on tonight’s elimination episode of “Dancing With The Stars”! Some of the scores are pretty close!  Santana started off the show by performing his song, “Oy Como Va!”. Starting off with the lowest scoring couples of last night’s show, Michael Bolton and Chelsie Hightower are safe. Following that, Margaret Cho and Louis Van Amstel are also safe. The Situation and Karina Smirnoff and David Hasselhoff and partner Kym Johnson are currently in jeopardy. Chris Daughtry performed his new song, “September” off of his new album, “Leave This Town”, while some of the pros commanded the dance floor. It was just revealed that Jennifer Grey and partner Derek Hough are safe, along with Rick Fox and partner Cheryl Burke. Kyle Massey and partner Lacey Schwimmer are currently in jeopardy along with Brandy and Maksim Chmerkovskiy. Santana performed again, but this time, he had special guest, India.Arie along for his song, “While My Guitar Gently Weeps”. The next couple safe are Audrina Patridge and partner Tony Dovolani. Joining them are Florence Henderson and Corky Ballas, leaving Kurt Warner and Anna Trebunskaya along with Bristol Palin and Mark Ballas left to wonder their fate. Santana performed “Photograph” by Def Leppard with Chris Daughtry next. UGH. I have no words. Coming back next week are Brandy and Maks, along with Bristol and Mark. Getting the boot this week are (drum roll) David and Kym!!! |
| Nicole Richie & Joel Madden Getting Married This Weekend Posted: 21 Sep 2010 01:58 PM PDT Nicole Richie and boyfriend Joel Madden are getting ready to make it official! Nicole has been spotted on the beach in Mexico with friends Christina Aguilera, Samantha Ronson, Charlotte Ronson, Masha Gordon and more.  The back of Christina’s shirt confirms that they were partying in the sun for Nicole’s bachelorette party on September 17th. The front of the shirt reads, “Tickle your chi chis with miss Richie”. How cute. So what’s left to do? Get married, of course!  We’re betting that they tie the knot this weekend after Joel enjoys a night out with the guys. | ‘X Factor’ Glamorizes Prostitution By Keeping Chloe Heald Posted: 21 Sep 2010 12:48 PM PDT Chloe Heald AKA Chloe Mafia is really causing quite the ruckus over her continued appearance on “X-Factor”. After it was exposed that she used to be a prostitute, viewers expected the show to get rid of her, but Simon Cowell gave her a pass onto next week’s show.  This has caused an uproar, with some claiming that by keeping her on the show, it is glamorizing prostitution. Despite boos from the audience, Simon passed her onto the next round. Afterward, on Sunday, it was alleged that she was still hooking for some payola while staying at the Premier Inn Hotel in Wembley, north London.  On one site, she reportedly said, “I want to meet guys and girls for nothing but dirty fun. I’ve just been on X Factor 2010…yes into the next round just keeping it real. I can sing, dance yes like a slut too and I’ve loads of norty outfits.” She was said to be charging roughly $387 per hour after already having appeared in trailers for the talent competition. A show spokesman says that they have no plans to kick her off the show because of the hooking, stating that she’s sticking to denying the prostitution reports.  Anti-prostitution groups are warning that the show is glamorizing prostitution by allowing her to stay on the show. Choose Life spokesperson Tessa Wright said, “Whilst we applaud any sex worker for trying to find another career, putting this girl on TV and making her an icon is not something we’d advocate. Millions of kids watch X-Factor - and, in a way, Chloe being on the show will glamorize the sex industry. The further she goes on the program the worse it will be.” What do you think??? | Posted: 21 Sep 2010 12:15 PM PDT Fresh off of his stint filming “Hot In Cleveland” as Valerie Bertinelli’s son, Joe Jonas is taking on a different role in “90210″.  He plans on playing himself on the hit show, giving Jessica Lowndes’ character Adrianna, a new love interest. He’ll be escorting Adrianna to a magazine cover party, according to reports. He’ll also offer the cover girl some advice on being in the music industry, which we all know he knows a lot about. Does that mean Adrianna is going to sing on his episode?? Does this also mean that since she’s falling for Joe that she’s going to break up with Navid? I’m not trying to rag on Joe, but if he’s trying to maintain his pure image, shouldn’t he have considered a different show? Like “Glee” maybe?    source: Jonas Heading To 90210 - [contact music] |
| Japan Doesn’t Like Paris Hilton! Posted: 21 Sep 2010 08:38 AM PDT Paris Hilton planned a business trip to Japan — but may end up flying back home after being detained at the airport for HOURS! Paris flew to Japan on business, but was questioned by immigration authorities as she got off the plane. Immigration authorities are allowing Paris to stay at an airport hotel until the matter is resolved.  [image: paris hilton's twitter] For her part, Paris hasn’t decided whether to stay or leave. Apparently there was a conflict within the ranks of those who questioned Paris, some of whom felt it was for show. An employee at the Consulate-General of Japan said,
People are indicating Paris and Nicky have not left the airport and are actually returning to the United States. |
