| Posted: 22 Dec 2009 08:38 PM PST After several proclamations by the band and himself that he was dropping out of Aerosmith for a couple of years, we’ve just learned that frontman Steven Tyler is entering rehab.  He has entered a rehab facility to treat his addiction to prescription painkillers. In a statement, Tyler said, “With the help of my family and team of medical professionals I am taking responsibility for the management of my pain and am eager to be back on the stage and in the recording studio with my bandmates Joe Perry, Joey Kramer, Tom Hamilton and Brad Whitford.” In another statement, he said, “I wish to set the record straight and say that I have read reports of a rumored two year hiatus and want to be clear that this is completely false and I will enthusiastically be writing, recording and performing with Aerosmith as soon as things are handled.” And there you have it! | Britney Spears’ Conservatorship Extended Posted: 22 Dec 2009 08:26 PM PST The judge in Britney Spears’ conservatorship case has extended her dad’s watch on the singer for an unspecified amount of time.  The judge didn’t say exactly how long the conservatorship would last, but it’s expected to last anywhere from six months to another fully year. Jamie Spears will continue to receive his $16,000 a month stipend for keeping Britney from flashing her goodies to the world, while co-conservator, Andrew Wallet, was also granted a payment of $174,569.10 for his services to date. | Christina Aguilera Rearends Another Car Posted: 22 Dec 2009 07:31 PM PST Christina Aguilera has been involved in a car accident tonight, after her assistant rearended another vehicle.  In West Hollywood, Christina was riding shotgun in her Range Rover when they hit another car. Per the above photos, you can tell that it wasn’t a total loss. Also, no one has come forward to complain of any injuries as a result of the accident. I guess someone felt that this might reignite her failing career??? I kid, I kid…or do I? | Lindsay Lohan Cuts Herself For the Holidays - Photos Posted: 22 Dec 2009 03:36 PM PST On Sunday, Lindsay Lohan was spotted prancing around on a beach in Santa Monica for a photo shoot. She was seemingly happy and in a good mood.  While you may not see anything wrong with this photo, there’s something more going on here. Maybe her father’s “real” proclamation that he’s joined Twitter has caused her to lash out at herself?  On the beach, she was seen wearing this one-piece blue bathing suit, which showed a fair amount of boobage. Up close, however, you can see fresh scars from her cutting sessions. | Brad & Angelina In New York For The Holidays - Photos Posted: 22 Dec 2009 03:12 PM PST Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie took their rainbow nation of kiddies, sans the twins, to Cafe Metro earlier today.  The happy couple, along with their four oldest children, appeared to be having a great time at the local cafe, which is near her movie location. Brad is unfortunately still rockin’ the mountain man look, while the kids are sporting some gigantor earmuffs on their small noggins. Seriously, doesn’t Zahara’s muffs look bigger than her head? | Posted: 22 Dec 2009 02:17 PM PST Brittany Murphy charmed her way into our hearts as Tai in the teen classic “Clueless”, was crazy in “Girl, Interrupted” and was an aspiring model in “8 Mile”.  She was taken from us way too early, at only 32. She was a budding singer, an immensely talented actress, and a good-hearted, kind person. I loved her in all of her movies, she seemed to really dive into her roles and make them so believable. Like many of you, I still can’t believe she’s gone at such a tender, young age. Her death seemed somewhat suspicious, but due to her heart condition, it’s understandable. Her husband and family are devastated at this tragic loss, as are we. She had plans for a baby in the coming new year and we were looking forward to her musical career. She will be sorely missed. RIP Brittany Murphy, we’ll always remember you “Rollin’ with the homies”. Miley Cyrus has been skipping around Ireland on part of her tour. Of course her stigma of Britney Spears-ish wannabe sex symbol came up. The reporter asked about her "raunchy" style and basically asked why she felt she needed to strut around half naked.
This is true. Strippers everywhere are nodding in agreement. She continues to explain the skimpy and sometimes provocative outfits.
Egads. Someone reprogram this girl with better PR crafted responses. Saying ‘my shows are only enjoyable if I am wearing a leather corset and spandex panties’ is probably not a good idea. |
