Shannon Briggs Doesn’t Pay His Employees Posted: 17 Dec 2009 02:26 PM PST Shannon Briggs apparently doesn’t like to pay his employees. In fact, he allows them to work for several months, without seeing a dime. Doesn’t sound like a Champion to me. Briggs hired Ivy Supersonic, who is really close with Howard Stern, in March of 2009 and Kali Bowyer in July 2009, both as publicists. Both of these women worked for several months for the aspiring comeback champion, but he hasn’t paid either one of them — not a single red cent! [Ivy Supersonic photo credit: © Marty Rosengarden, ringsidephotos.com] With the heavyweight division so depleted of talent these days, it’s no wonder former titleholders always think they can rise to the top again — and make the money that goes with the opportunity. But what if you don’t pay the people who work for you? Ivy Supersonic and Kali Bowyer were both under contract by Briggs, yet he still thinks he can avoid paying them. When Ivy asked to be paid, she received several threats of physical harm and has since filed a police report. Bowyer, who quit working for the boxer for non-payment, has since received hundreds of slanderous text messages. Here’s a couple of his messages (typos fixed),
Cumulatively, the two women are owed roughly $40,000. Greg Cohen, Briggs boxing promoter, attempted to settle the situation offering Ivy and Kali $5,000 each to be paid in 3 months, or when Briggs can get around to it. Needless to say, his offer was rejected. Briggs is set to hit the ring on January 8th and it will be televised on ESPN. It’s such a shame that Ivy had to beg and plead with this guy just to get payment for three months of hard work. Listen: (Warning: Audio does contain content that is NSFW) What a tool. |
Demi Moore Called ‘Old’ & ‘Ugly’ After Tweeting Giraffe Photo Posted: 17 Dec 2009 02:23 PM PST This is just ludicrous! I mean, we all know that the “W” cover featuring Demi Moore was hacked to pieces with a Photoshop knife, but to call her ugly is just awful.
This prompted so-called fans to unleash some hate on the actress, with people tweeting, “sorrydemi that your self esteem is so low you can’t admit to a little Photoshopping. And Ghost sucked”. Another follower added, “sorry but you look old. specially your neck & cheecks at the second shot..” Demi responded, “I’m 47 how am I supposed to look?” Exactly! Girlfriend is 47 and still looks better than some 20-year-olds. Of course, she does have oodles of money to reconstruct herself like the Bionic Woman. source: Demi Moore: I’m 47, How Am I Supposed To Look? (PHOTO) - [huffington post] |
Lindsay Lohan Tweets The ‘N’ Word - Photos Posted: 17 Dec 2009 12:55 PM PST Lindsay Lohan is known for tweeting stuff and then claiming she got hacked or something, so this really doesn’t surprise us at all. Lindsay’s friends apparently tweeted the message, with her following it up with this little nugget: She has since removed the first message, of course. Like father, like daughter. So is it now acceptable for her to use the word, just because “her friend” used an “A”? Global outrage and offense in 3…..2……..1… source: [lindsay lohan's twitter] |
Robert Pattinson & Katy Perry Hooking Up? - Video Posted: 17 Dec 2009 12:44 PM PST Robert Pattinson and Katy Perry were seen last night creeping on into Dimples Supper Club in Burbank, California, together. The two reportedly got up close and personal with each other, seemingly flirting non-stop all night. RadarOnline reports:
They were on hand to celebrate a friend’s birthday at the karaoke club. A staffer there said, “She brought him here before. Every time she comes he seems to follow.” What do you think? Do they make a cute couple? Or is she better off not getting the sparkle on her girl parts? And look at her ignoring the paparazzi, she ought to be happy that she’s still relevant enough to be followed around. source: WORLD EXCLUSIVE VIDEO: Rob Pattinson And Katy Perry’s Flirty Fun At Bar! - [radar online] |
Screen Actors Guild Award Nominations Posted: 17 Dec 2009 10:41 AM PST
It’s award season! Can you feel it in the air? The Golden Globe nominations are already creating Oscar predictions, Ryan Seacrest is polishing his lifts and red carpets are being shampooed into a glory befitting of Angelina Jolies pumps. The Screen Actors Guild Awards Nominees were announced today and basically the SAG awards are actors patting each other on the back. Regardless, it’s a chance to flaunt fashionable creations and I hate to equate it to the prom, but that is pretty much what it is. I am pulling for Meryl Streep for her performance in “Julie and Julia.” I have to thank for my new favorite catch phrase of: “Hotter than a stiff cock.”
The list is super long so you can read the rest of the SAG Awards Nominations List After the Cut…

The rumor running around the net right now (besides Tiger, Love, and some random Sparklepants hook up) is that Victoria Beckham maintains her diet with strict rules that keep her at a size zero. One rumor states that she lives on Diet Coke and edamame. Another states that she works out for nearly an hour every day and limits her caloric intake to 700-900. The "designer" and wife to pro ball handler, David Beckham, is spending Christmas with Gordon Ramsay is having to breath into a paper bag at the thought of actually eating calorie packed holiday meals.
Those sassy bitches on “Cook Yourself Thin” need to school Vicky on eating French Toast made out of root veggies and tofu. Seriously though…3 bites? That is like dinner foreplay for me.
