With an 80s rewind theme in full swing, the remaining contestants were ready to rock, but first, special guests from The Bangles performed a collection of their greatest hits to kick off the show, and lemme tell you, they’ve still got it. | Selena Gomez Receives Death Threat Posted: 17 Oct 2011 06:41 PM PDT Selena Gomez has been seriously threatened, the LAPD is involved and Selena has obtained a restraining order. Thomas Brodnicki has been named as the individual involved and allegedly told his psychiatrist he was planning on killing Selena.  Selena and her lawyer claim Brodnicki was picked up for mental evaluation last month after he allegedly threatened to “scratch people’s eyes out on the street.” Brodnicki allegedly made the threats against Gomez during his mental evaluation. According to a request filed Oct. 13 in Los Angeles Superior Court, the starlet states that she does not know Thomas Brodnicki, but has been told that he traveled from Chicago to Los Angeles to meet her. |
| Disney Star Mitchel Musso Busted For DUI Posted: 17 Oct 2011 10:11 AM PDT
According to law enforcement, Musso was pulled over at 3:45 AM Sunday after he failed to slow down while police officers were directing traffic due to an unrelated accident. When cops pulled over Musso's 2007 black Mercedes Benz a strong odor of alcohol detected. The actor, who also stars on Disney's 'Pair of Kings' and 'PrankStars,' failed a sobriety test and blew well above .08 when given the breathalyzer test. Oh and I forgot to mention, Mitchel Musso is only 20 YEARS OLD! He was booked on suspicion of DUI and his bail was set at $5,000. Am I the only one that smiles when a Disney star messes up? | Justin Bieber Premieres ‘Mistletoe’ (Audio) Posted: 17 Oct 2011 09:58 AM PDT Justin Bieber's holiday album, Under The Mistletoe is set to drop November 1st, but today Justin released a sneak peek of the album with the first single, "Mistletoe." Justin was excited to debut the first single and said that he thinks the holiday album is "my best album yet."  "I worked with Boyz II Men. I worked with Usher. I worked with The Band Perry. I worked with a lot of cool people on the album and it turned out really well," he says. Another artist Justin collaborated with for the album was Mariah Carey, the two will be doing a rendition of Mariah's holiday hit "All I Want For Christmas Is You." "It was an honor for her to allow me to do the song with her." Here is the track list to “Under The Mistletoe”: 1. Who’s the fattest of them all? From Kelly Osbourne to Christina Aguilera, this is the latest growing knockdown with some pretty heavy words straight from the Fashion Police. Let me slim it down for ya. After Christina’s not so flattering ensemble at the Michael Jackson tribute concert, her g-factor has created quite the controversy and here’s the skinny: On Friday, E! Fashion Police’s Kelly Osbourne dishes on the good, the bad, and the ugly in a case of he said she said and she wasn’t alone. Kelly reveals, “She called me fat for years. I was never that fat.” Looks like “Lady Marmalade got into the peanut butter again,” remarksJoan Rivers. With measurement made by George Kotsiopoulos, he says, “I’m looking at this and thinking, ‘Well, she’s put on weight. This just isn’t flattering.’ But this is just a crappy outfit, regardless. No matter what shape your body is in, it’s just bad.” [She is] “still probably a size 2/4.” However, Kelly agrees to disagree, “Trust me, I’m a 2/4. That is not a 2/4.” Who’s hungry now? | Giuliana Rancic Announces She Has Breast Cancer (Video) Posted: 17 Oct 2011 08:16 AM PDT
Giuliana Rancic has announced that she has breast cancer. Rancic discovered a tumor during a mammogram, while she was going through another round of in-vitro fertilization in an effort to get pregnant. “Through my attempt to get pregnant for the third time, we sadly found out that I have early stages of breast cancer. It’s been a shock. A lot of people have been asking, we saw that you went and got IVF, are you pregnant? But sadly, we’ve had to put that off.” The E! News host made the emotional announcement on NBC’s Today show. Rancic will undergo surgery this week and then have six weeks of radiation therapy. “I still want this baby … because this baby has saved my life,” she told People. “I truly feel God was looking out after me … If I had gotten pregnant later down the line, I could have been a lot sicker.” She also says her husband, Bill Rancic, has been “unbelievable. So really, what’s there to hide? The woman in the photos who appeared to be Lopez was seen at the right hand of Cooper on Saturday, so say the papparazzos. What’s more is that this isn’t their first engagement. In fact, the couple (can I say that?) had what they called a “professional meeting” last month at Per Se in New York City, way to mix business with pleasure. So what was this, just another weekend business affair? Even though they say they are not official, rumor has it that “they are definitely dating.” [see photographic evidence] Ain’t it funny? | ‘Sesame Street’ YouTube Page Hit By Porn Hackers (Photo) Posted: 17 Oct 2011 07:01 AM PDT Hackers seized the YouTube page of the “Sesame Street” children’s show Sunday, reprogramming the page with content brought to you by the letter “X.” You get the idea.  The show page was taken offline, and visitors were greeted with a message from the video website informing them it had been shut down “due to repeated or severe violations of our community guidelines.” Visitors were greeted with explicit sex videos instead of Muppets. A message posted on the hacked page claimed two YouTube users were responsible. One of the pornographic posts was allegedly by someone with the username “Mredxwx” but the YouTube user posted a video denying involvement. “I did not hack Sesame Street. I am an honest youtuber,” a statement on the 18-second video states. “I work hard to make quality gameplay videos and most important I respect the community guidelines.” Sesame Workshop has since released a statement to respond to the hacking. “We apologize for any inconvenience our audience may have experienced today on our Sesame Street YouTube channel,” so the workshop wrote on its official Facebook account. “Our channel was compromised and we are presently working with YouTube/Google to restore our original content. We always strive to provide age-appropriate content for our viewers and hope to resolve this problem quickly.” Is it wrong to laugh? |
| Zachary Quinto Professes He’s Gay Posted: 17 Oct 2011 06:17 AM PDT
Zachary Quinto has revealed in a new interview with New York Magazine, he’s “a gay man.” The star of Star Trek and TV’s Heroes had long refused to comment about his sexuality, though he has been an outspoken supporter of bully victims. Quinto had an eight-month run in the play “Angels in America.” He played Louis Ironson, a man who abandons his AIDS-stricken boyfriend. “As a gay man, it made me feel like there’s still so much work to be done, and there’s still so many things that need to be looked at and addressed,” he told NY Mag about his role in the play. He also spoke with the magazine about the fact that in the same year gay marriage was legalized in New York, a gay teenager in the state, Jamey Rodmeyer, was bullied and killed himself. “And again, as a gay man I look at that and say there's a hopelessness that surrounds it,” he said. “But as a human being I look at it and say ‘Why? Where’s this disparity coming from, and why can’t we as a culture and society dig deeper to examine that?’ We’re terrified of facing ourselves.” Quinto’s film “Margin Call,” a thriller that takes place in an investment bank during the early stages of the financial crisis, opens in theaters October 21st. Zachary addressed his decision to come out on his blog.
