Lady Gaga Goes Au Natural For Harper’s Bazaar (Photos)

Posted: 06 Sep 2011 10:11 PM PDT

Lady Gaga graces the cover of the October issue of Harper's Bazaar and she's doing it without and makeup… or meat.

Gaga has decided to go with an au natural look for her photo shoot with photographers Inez van Lamsweerde and Vinoodh Matadin, phew try saying that three times fast.

This cover marks the first time Harper’s Bazaar has released a black and white cover in 20 years.

In the cover story interview Gaga spoke about her current look, the public's expectations and how she stays in shape.

When asked about the difference between her normal, eccentric attire and the look she chose for the shoot Gaga replied, “I don’t really view it as ‘natural.’ I think that artifice is the new reality. It’s more about just being honest and sincere to the core of what you do. Whether I’m wearing lots of makeup or no makeup, I’m always the same person inside.”

"Don’t you think that what’s on the cover of a magazine is quite artificial?” she asks.

“There’s this idea that it’s all natural, but everything’s been staged to look natural. It is also an invention. It’s just that my inventions are different," she elaborates. "I often get asked about my artifice, but isn’t fashion based on the idea that we can create a fantasy?”

For those that don't speak Gaga-nese, what she is basically saying is that whether she is dressed in a meat dress or nothing at all, she has completely planned it out… right?

The 'You & I' singer was then asked if she ever felt pressured by the public to live up to their expectations.

“I try to not focus on what people expect from me,” she says. “I think what has been lovely about my relationship with the public is that they expect something unexpected from me.”

And how does the Lady keep her body thin enough to fit in all those revealing outfits?

“I do yoga, I do Bikram and I run, and I eat really healthy. You know, my work sort of feeds me. I keep in shape by working hard.”

Do you like Gaga's new, fresh-face look or do you like her in the eccentric digs?

Soulja Boy Apologizes for Anti-Military Rap

Posted: 06 Sep 2011 06:49 PM PDT

Apparently, Soulja Boy is under fire with his latest rant against the US Army.

The rap star himself has apologized for the highly controversial video that has sparked a major chord with the US Military. With his latest track titled Let’s Be Real the disputed rap went something like this: “F–k the FBI and the army troops … fighting for what? Be your own man.”

Sounds like fighting words to me, and it’s clear that the US Military is not on his side. In fact, differing Army personnel are reportedly moving to ban all memorabilia from Army and Air Force bases nationwide. In addition, from United States Department of Defense and the Army and Air Force Exchange Service, LTC Thomas Shrader says that the rapper’s Respect My Hustle will have no place on the shelves of its 3,100 facilities.”

Not only are his lyrics offensive to the military, but to our fallen comrades and their family and friends, as well. Like Dianne Webb, petitioners worldwide have weighed in on this heated debate and here’s what she had to say:

“The song is offensive to our military. He should see the mothers’ faces and made to attend a troops funeral and see what loss of a real Hero means to the family and every true American. He should apologize for his actions also if he is a man. My son fought for you Soulja, what did you do for him?”

In an effort to redeem himself, Soulja Boy has issued the following apology in a statement below:

“As an artist, I let my words get the best of me. Sometimes there are things that we feel, things that we want to express, and when we put them on paper and speak them out loud, they can come out wrong.

When I expressed my frustration with the US Army, not only did my words come out wrong, I was wrong to even speak them. So, I write this to give my sincerest apology to all members of the United States military services, as well as their families that were offended by my most recent lyrics.

As a young man who grew up in the post-9/11 era, I have watched our country fight two wars that seem like they are never going to end.

I have seen thousands and thousands of our brave men and women get killed in battle and often times, I think for what? A lot of people in this country are struggling to make ends meet and I think a lot about what if we had never gone to war.

Where would our economy be? Our schools, our after-school and work programs, our streets? I mean, damn, 48 people got shot in New York City just this past weekend … in 3 days … I’m not saying that it is just because of a bad economy, but at a certain point we have to take care of our own people.

In no way would I ever want to offend those who are protecting our freedoms … a lot of homeboys who I grew up with, a lot of people who come from the neighborhoods we live in … In no way do I want to hurt any of our honorable soldiers who put their lives at risk, regardless of how they feel about the two wars we fight in.

I am just frustrated that we haven’t been able to bring you all home quick enough and my frustration got the best of me. I am deeply sorry.

~Soulja Boy”

I’d say that’s a rap but I don’t think this is going to be the end of this. Remember, we choose our own battles, just sayin’.

Keeping Up With The Kardashians: Kim Says Yes (Video)

Posted: 06 Sep 2011 12:14 PM PDT

It wasn’t until last night that we were all able to watch the Keeping Up With The Kardashians Season Finale…AND the most talked about proposal to date. Atta’ boy Kris!

Talk about a fairytale in the making. Kris Humphries finally asked his princess Kim to be his wife in a simple, yet unforgettable, romantic way. Boys, take notes!

Kris did not disappoint. Despite his initial proposal attempt, which included Operation Pumpkin and the entire Kardashian klan, Humphries decided that Kim meant more to him than Cinderella, and made his own fairytale proposal, a moment that was perfect for just the two of them.

In an effortless scene, Humphries set the mood in Kardashian’s bedroom, where he illuminated tea lit candles shaped in a heart, carefully scattered rose petals in the form of the question Will You Marry Me? as he awaited on-bended knee for the arrival of his soon bride-to-be. A very surprised and speechless Kim entered the room as Kris asked her to be his wife.

“Oh, my Go—yes. Oh my god, I’m like shaking. Oh my god, this is so crazy, this is so perfect.” I’ll tell you what’s crazy, that 2 million dollar ring, baby! A lucky lady deserves a lucky man.

So what could be more perfect than to see Kim Kardashian’s Fairytale Wedding? YOU are cordially invited to witness Kris and Kim say I do set to air October 9 and 10 only on E!

See you at the wedding!

Posted: 06 Sep 2011 10:07 AM PDT

Regis Philbin, the talk show host legend has recently announced when he will be leaving his hit television show LIVE! With Regis and Kelly.

When will be the last time you will see Regis squabble with co-host Kelly Ripa, you ask?

Well the host revealed the news on Tuesday and said that his last time hosting on the show will be Friday, November 18.

A very sad day for television.

Regis first announced last January that he would be leaving his post by the end of the year, but he was vague about the specific date.

They replaced Kathy Lee with Kelly, but what about Regis?

This brings up the burning question, who will be Regis' replacement?

Rumor has it that Survivor's Jeff Probst, Howie Mandel and Bravo's Andy Cohen are all in the running to fill in for the retiring host.

Who do you want to be the next host?

Will you still watch the show without Regis?

Guy Ritchie, A Dad Again

Posted: 06 Sep 2011 09:09 AM PDT

Apparently, third time is a charm!

A congratulations is in order for Mr. Guy Ritchie as he celebrates the birth of another son!

Guy and his girlfriend Jacqui Ainsley welcomed a bouncing baby boy in London on Monday morning in an emergency c-section.

According to a source, "The baby came a few days earlier than planned but the actual birth went well and both mum and tot are doing great. Rocco, Lourdes and adopted youngsters, David and Mercy, are all being introduced to the new arrival within the next couple of weeks.”

How’s that for a very Brady family?!

With the blossoming news of their latest addition, Ritchie shared this happy news with the Madge. In return, Madonna sent a huge complimentary bouquet of flowers for the family to enjoy. How sweet.

As you could imagine, proud new daddy “couldn’t be prouder. He and Jacqui have spent months getting ready and can’t wait to take the baby home.”

And make no mistake, this is not Guy’s first born, however, it is Jacqui’s.

From the ever-so-famous marriage to the Material Girl herself, he has been gifted a biological 11-year old son Rocco and adopted 6-year old son David Banda.

Welp, that’s a wrap!

Congratulations you two!
