Posted: 13 Aug 2010 04:11 PM PDT And whatever Miley Cyrus wants, Miley Cyrus gets! And don’t you forget it! You hear that Billy Ray and Tish??? Apparently, little miss Disney princess has been demanding a new set of tatas and her parents are only too quick to oblige. Miley was said to be hinting around for a new D-cup sized boob job, because mother nature wasn’t as nice to her and she wanted to seek surgical enhancement.
Can anyone really, honestly and truly say that this is shocking news?!?? We get it, she wants to break out of her Disney shell. Someone please inform us when she’s all done and grown up. Watching the process makes Chris Hansen want to bleach his eyeballs. |
Ellen DeGeneres Dances On ‘So You Think You Can Dance’ - Video Posted: 13 Aug 2010 10:59 AM PDT Ellen DeGeneres took to the stage on last night’s finale show on “So You Think You Can Dance” and bumped and grinded with the best of them! Girlfriend can move! Ellen busted a move while paying tribute to Alex, who performed with Twitch. Ellen contacted the show in an effort to recreate the performance. And for someone who is 52 years old, she did a fantastic job. She’s no spring chicken, but she can move better than a lot of people half her age. Check out the video of her performance, below: What did you think of her performance? I just love Ellen, she always looks like she’s having a blast no matter where she’s at or what she’s doing. Good for her! |
Justin Bieber Talks Upcoming 3D Moive Posted: 13 Aug 2010 09:43 AM PDT It was just announced on Twitter that Step Up 3D director Jon Chu will be teaming up with the one and only Justin Bieber to make a movie. The still untitled project will be a behind the scenes look, including never-before-seen exclusives over the past couple years, as well as Justin Bieber’s August 31st concert at Madison Sq Garden… all in 3D! And if that doesn’t excite you enough, Jon Chu is inviting people from all over the world (not only at the Biebz MSG concert) to take part in the movie. The release date is slated for Valentines Day 2011. Stay tuned to his Twitter for more updates. |
Looking This Good is a Dirty Job! Posted: 13 Aug 2010 09:23 AM PDT Mike Rowe, the star of "Dirty Jobs" on the Discovery Channel, has tackled some arduous tasks, among them shark repellent tester and septic tank cleaner. But now he confronts perhaps the dirtiest job of all: persuading shoppers to buy a new product when the economy appears to be weakening again. Mr. Rowe has been signed to a multi-year contract to be the spokesman for Lee Premium Select, a line of men's denim being introduced by Lee Jeans. The pants will sell for about $42 a pair — more expensive than the basic jeans that compose the Wrangler men's line sold by VF, but less costly than men's jeans bearing designer labels. Mr. Rowe will appear in all aspects of the campaign, which is scheduled to begin on Monday. There will be television commercials, print advertisements and efforts in social media like Facebook and Twitter. Mr. Rowe will also be featured on a microsite, or special Web site, devoted to humorous efforts to make men feel better about buying clothes. The site, shopphobia.com, trades on traditional beliefs that men, as a Web page declares, "prefer running from an angry bear to shopping a storewide sale." Several agencies are handling the ads, in keeping with the trend for marketers to use multiple resources for a single campaign. Among them are the New York office of Arnold Worldwide, part of Havas, for the creative work; MEC, part of the GroupM unit of WPP, for media; and Barkley in Kansas City, Mo., for the digital elements and public relations. Lee plans to spend 30 percent more than it usually does on ads for men's jeans to promote the new line, said Liz Cahill, vice president for marketing at Lee Jeans in Merriam, Kan., and will increase the budget for digital ads by 120 percent. VF spent $7.8 million last year to advertise Lee Jeans for men in major media, according to the Kantar Media unit of WPP, compared with $8.4 million in 2008. VF is also making what Ms. Cahill described as a "sizable, significant" donation to the Mike Rowe Works Foundation; she declined to be more specific. The foundation supports workers in the skilled trades with efforts like education and career planning.
Mr. Rowe and Ms. Cahill said they have talked about collaborating on a line of work clothes that would, ideally, be made in the United States. Is it wrong to find Mike Rowe sexy? First cars, now jeans… I would prefer he just do the dirty jobs. source: A Regular-Guy Approach to Entice Men to Shop for Jeans [ny times] |
Dina Lohan Talks About Lindsay To ‘Today’ - Video Posted: 13 Aug 2010 08:51 AM PDT Dina Lohan appeared on the “Today” show to talk to Matt Lauer about Lindsay’s jail stay, court troubles and letting go of her daughter. This delusional mess opened the interview by saying that they have a new judge in the case. Like that was all her doing or something. Dina said, “She went overboard and played serious hardball with Lindsay.” When asked if Dina thought Lindsay deserved time in jail, she said, “Not for this particular offense. The judge put her in serious lockdown for two weeks with murderers.” Matt then asked what LiLo told Dina about jail. She went on to talk about the serious offense that the judge did, basically saying that she went over the head of the DA. When asked about whether or not Lindsay received special treatment, she said, “Do you read TMZ? You must read them.” If there’s a handbook on how not to parent, it’s all included in this video: Visit msnbc.com for breaking news, world news, and news about the economy On how Lindsay is doing: “She’s been through a lot. The judge played hardball. Lindsay was in with alleged murderers and she’s become friends with a lot of them. Lindsay rolled with the punches and she’s doing wonderfully.” On whether or not jail is doing Lindsay any good: “I think that’s all propaganda and what people are reading. As you know, you’re in the business of entertainment, so I think a lot of it is pre-orchestrated and you’re reading things that are not based on fact.” On whether or not she or Michael could’ve done anything different to change Lindsay’s current situation: “As a parent, you have to let her go a little bit. When she went out to Los Angeles when she was 19, I had to let her go and let her live and fall and fail and survive. Without failure, there’s no success. I was there in close proximity, but you can’t make your child not go out and go to a club and not get behind the wheel of a car. I certainly don’t condone any of that behavior.” I don’t think this broad knows the first thing about being a caring mother. She’s the one who needs rehab, along with her daughter. What do you think? |
