| ‘Dancing With The Stars’ Week Five Results Posted: 20 Apr 2010 05:42 PM PDT “Dancing With The Stars” is on and we’re capturing the drama for you, here at Allieiswired!  Nicole and Derek are safe! As for Kate and Tony, however, they are in the bottom two! Ha! Maybe it will be time for Kate to finally go home. We can only hope, right? Len said that he would like to see Jake and Chelsie’s “Risky Business” routine again. It was cute again, so they’re probably not in danger of going anywhere just yet. Maxwell performed his song, “Fistful Of Tears”, while the pros took to the stage to dance a sexy number. Then, it was announced that Chad and Cheryl are in jeopardy, while Niecy and Louis are safe! Woot! I love Niecy, she’s hilarious. Debi Nova performed after the Macy’s dancers, while surrounded by Dmitry, Derek, Damian and Tony. It was revealed that Evan and Anna are safe (duh), while Jake and Chelsie are in jeopardy. Erin and Maks are safe (of course), while Pamela and Damian are in jeopardy. Joining Kate and Tony in the bottom two are Pamela and Damian. Not sticking around to dance another week are Kate and Tony! It’s about time! |
| Cyndi Lauper’s ‘Memphis Blues’ Completed Posted: 20 Apr 2010 02:33 PM PDT Singing legend Cyndi Lauper has revealed that she has completed the work on her eleventh studio album, “Memphis Blues”, which is set for release on June 21st.  The album is blues in nature and was recorded in Memphis, as the title suggests. The album was recorded in February and March of this year with Scott Bomar and William Wittman. Currently, Cyndi is kicking butt and taking names on the newest season of “Celebrity Apprentice”. If she wins the competition, she plans on donating the funds to the True Colors Fund of Stonewall Community Foundation. The charity is one she co-founded to increase LGBT awareness and raise money for equal rights in the gay community. In a recent interview with Ellen DeGeneres, Cyndi talks about Donald Trump’s feud with her friend Rosie O’Donnell, her charity and of course, a possible duet with Lady Gaga. And she emerged sans wedding ring! Like we expected any less?  The actress was spotted hiking in Northern California on Friday, wearing a hat with her hair pulled back and drinking a cup of coffee. She reportedly had Getty take the video, which is what Tiger Woods did, to fend off an incoming paparazzi onslaught. “Entertainment Weekly” then purchased the rights to the video for a cool $60,000, but you can watch it here for free. | Kate Gosselin Begs Friends & Family For ‘DWTS’ Votes - Photo Posted: 20 Apr 2010 11:14 AM PDT Kate Gosselin, the  In the email she sent out, titled, “Today is voting for Kate day”, she is literally begging her friends and family to copy and paste the email and spam them with it. It’s no secret that Kate really bombed on last night’s show, scoring a whopping total of 15 points from the judges. The judges really laid into her over her performance, which was obviously worse than last week (and I didn’t think that was possible). Have a look at her “strolling” along to “Don’t You (Forget About Me)” for their “Breakfast Club” theme: It’s not surprising that the show is centered around a popularity contest and with a ratings draw like Kate on board, people are tuning in to see how much she fails. We must not lose sight of the fact that it’s a dancing competition. So, I can only hope that tonight is the night that Kate dances to the beat of a different drum, and not some butchered song on “Dancing With The Stars”.
