Resident Evil: Afterlife First Look Posted: 01 Apr 2010 01:52 AM PDT Sony’s Screen Gems has revealed these first photos from Resident Evil: Afterlife, hitting 3D and 2D theaters on September 10. Written and directed by Paul W.S. Anderson, the fourth installment stars Milla Jovovich, Ali Larter, Spencer Locke, Wentworth Miller, Shawn Roberts, Boris Kodjoe, Kim Coates, Norman Yeung and Kasey Barnfield. Her deadly battle with the Umbrella Corporation reaches new heights, but Alice gets some unexpected help from an old friend. First Photo Of Sandra Bullock Posted: 01 Apr 2010 12:56 AM PDT Sandra Bullock braved the storm Wednesday night, marking her first appearance since the news of Jesse James' sexual indiscretions hit the press. Forgive me for laughing. I am sympathetic, but LOL @ the hat! The actress, who has been laying low for the past two weeks, ducked out of her Hollywood Hills home flanked by security. A witness said, “She looked dressed up, it was hard to tell but she looked pretty, as always. She had on makeup and a big blue hat. She was in the back of a big Mercedes.” As paparazzi vied for a clear shot, the security team shielded her from prying eyes with the help of umbrellas. Bullock was then whisked away to a Holmby Hills belonging to Gabriel Brener, chairman and CEO of Brener International Group, LLC, a private investment firm specializing in real estate, acquisitions and consolidations. Baywatch Movie Coming Soon Posted: 31 Mar 2010 10:50 AM PDT The long-buzzed about Baywatch Movie is finally seeing the light of day. Producers of Paramount's highly-anticipated big screen debut of Baywatch have hired two new writers to pen a screenplay for the proposed comedy. Brian Gatewood and Alessandro Tanaka, who penned upcoming Jonah Hill comedy The Sitter, have joined the Baywatch writing team. The movie — which insiders are comparing to the screen adaptations of Charlie's Angels and the slapstick Police Academy comedies of the 1980s — will be centered around the female members of the lifeguard squad. Baywatch, which starred David Hasselhoff, Yasmeen Bleeth, and Pamela Anderson, ran on TV from 1989 to 1999. The small screen hit later spawned the spinoff Baywatch Nights and the 2003 reunion movie, Baywatch: Hawaiian Wedding. Baywatch: The Movie is expected to hit theaters next summer. Michael Lohan’s Press Conference and Tirade - Video Posted: 31 Mar 2010 08:48 AM PDT There is no secret that Lindsay Lohan is a train wreck right now, with people speculating that she is so out of control she will die. So whats a parent to do? Well, Michael Lohan wants daughter Lindsay to clean up her act so badly that he did what any concerned normal parent would do: held a press conference to demand that she go to rehab, worrying she’ll become another DJ AM or Brittany Murphy if she doesn’t stop partying so hard. Michael told reporters Lindsay is “not ok” and that the people enabling her to do drugs and alcohol need to “get the hell out of the way.” He said he’s prepared to fly to Los Angeles and ask her in person to go to rehab, saying Lindsay will either go to rehab voluntarily or he and several professionals will ensure it will happen involuntarily — her choice. "Lindsay is not okay. I think we've all seen that and we know that. I've tried every possible way to reach out to my daughter; no one can turn their backs on it anymore. It's a lot worse than people can imagine," Lohan added. "Lindsay needs help now. Sometimes we don't know when we hit rock bottom… but it is all about admitting the truth to ourselves and the people around us. Life is tough; I don't want it to be short for her." Think that sounds a little crazy? Keep reading, it only gets better. Shortly after that statement, the inevitable happened: Michael Lohan exploded. A wily reporter read him a statement issued by Lindsay’s mom Dina Lohan, saying that Michael was using Lindsays’ problem as a diversion from his own deadbeat ways and is a year behind in child support payments. This sent Michael into a crazy two-minute rant in which he threatened Dina’s lawyer, claimed he’d paid child support “off the books,” and spewed accusations against Dina’s family that involved everything from crack-smoking to 9/11. Lindsay has earned herself a reputation as a Hollywood crazed blow junkie in recent years thanks to a string of boozy nights out, arrests for drug possession and driving violations and a stint in rehab. Her recent tumble into a cactus bed after a night out in Los Angeles and the mysterious white dust billowing from her designer shoes last week prompting speculation that she had spilled cocaine on herself surely isn’t helping the stars public persona. Lady Gaga to Record New Bond Theme Posted: 31 Mar 2010 08:37 AM PDT Lady Gaga is reportedly in negotiations with movie bosses to record the next James Bond theme song. Film chiefs are said to be keen to land the Poker Face hitmaker to perform the lead track for the forthcoming 007 movie, which will be directed by Sam Mendes. A source tells Britain’s The Sun, “Bond bosses are all huge Gaga fans. Her sound and sense of drama make her the top choice. Gaga has the look as well as the voice to tackle a thundering ballad. She’s a great songwriter too. This is perfect on every level.” Previous stars to record Bond themes include Dame Shirley Bassey and Sir Paul MCCartney. I think this would be awesome, I’d love to see what she came up with.
