But what if you were so popular that a Google search could result in finding nasty rumors and horrible commentary about yourself that you wouldn’t necessarily want (or need) to know? | Posted: 18 Oct 2010 07:11 PM PDT I really can't get enough Harry Potter! Lately all I have done is re-watch all the films in preparation for November 19th. Then it's on to the books… I'll probably been done all of it before Halloween. Earlier today, eight new TV spots – YES EIGHT! – were released for Deathly Hallows. I have all of them right here for you to watch! Check 'em out!

| ‘Dancing With The Stars’ Week Five Recap Posted: 18 Oct 2010 06:02 PM PDT Last week, we saw The Situation get booted from the show for doing his craptastic Argentine Tango. So, who’s next? Bristol Palin or Florence Henderson?  Brandy and Maksim Chmerkovski are up first, doing the Quickstep to the “Friends” theme. It was lively, cute and impressive. Len loved it and called it her best dance ever. They scored 27 points. Florence Henderson and Corky Ballas are dancing the Tango next to the “Brady Bunch” theme. This dance is weird, but adorably cute. Bruno didn’t seem to like it. They scored 21 points. Kurt Warner and Anna Trebunskaya are up next, dancing the Quickstep to the theme of “Bewitched”. What a charming dance! It was very well done. They scored 24 points. Audrina Patridge and Tony Dovolani are dancing the Rhumba to the theme of “The Hills”. It was faker than fake, I wasn’t a fan of the dance. They scored 23 points. Kyle Massey and Lacey Schwimmer are up next, dancing the Foxtrot to the theme of “Charlie’s Angels”. It wasn’t very smooth and seemed a little slow for a Foxtrot. They scored 20 points. Rick Fox and Cheryl Burke are doing the Rhumba to the theme song from “Hill Street Blues”. It was stiff, slow and a little boring for my liking. They scored 24 points.  Bristol Palin and Mark Ballas are dancing the Jive to the theme from the “Monkees”. It was the worst dance ever and I’m predicting Bristol is going to get the axe tomorrow night. They scored 18 points. Jennifer Grey and Derek Hough are dancing the Foxtrot to the theme of “Married With Children”. It was a very cute dance, with Len calling it “theatrical”. They scored 25 points. | Adam Lambert, ‘It Gets Better’ Posted: 18 Oct 2010 04:18 PM PDT Adam Lambert has spoken out to support teenagers who are being bullied over their sexuality. The former American Idol contestant filmed the message for Dan Savage’s It Gets Better project, which was founded last month in response to the recent number of gay teen suicides in America.  In the video, which is one of many hosted on the It Gets Better website, Lambert says: “It gets better, but it’s up to you.” He continues: “At the end of the day if you give those bullies and those people that are so ignorant and fearful of your lifestyle, if you give them the power to affect you, you’re letting them win and they don’t deserve that. You are so much more than your orientation.” Lambert also confesses that he is still a victim of bullying today despite the success of his career and cites the comments section of articles written about him as often containing some form of homophobic abuse. You see that… he caught you. The singer then reiterates that “there is so much more to me than just who I choose to sleep with”. Kathy Griffin, Rob Thomas and Adam Levine are among a number of other celebrities to record video messages in support of the project. |
| Posted: 18 Oct 2010 03:44 PM PDT “The Talk” (also known as the mom-centric “View”) debuted Monday afternoon — and opposed to the blow-ups on “The View” last week, the hour with Julie Chen, Sara Gilbert, Sharon Osbourne, Holly Robinson Peete, Leah Remini and Marissa Jaret Winokur seemed…well, quite tame. The group discussed everything from kids, kids that don’t behave, husbands that don’t help with the kids, what happens when kids get bullied, and the right age when kids should first hear “the sex talk.”  But besides many, many euphemisms during the discussion about the sex talk, the women — and guest Christie Brinkley — kept things fairly low-key. “Maybe now that we’ve been polite and nice, tomorrow we’ll be different,” Sharon Osbourne said at the very end of the hour. Here’s hoping! Meanwhile, here are some first impressions of the co-hosts: Julie Chen: Clearly the ringleader of the bunch. Quickly tackled the whole “she’s married to the boss” thing, as CBS CEO Les Moonves appeared in a taped message: “I have two reasons why I want this show to work. First is because I love my wife so much. And the second is, if it doesn’t work, I’ll cancel you.” Sara Gilbert: Given credit early in the hour for coming up with the idea of the show, she appeared to be a little terrified of her co-hosts. Very timid, sat quietly for much of the hour. Sharon Osbourne: Clearly holding back, the reality TV staple didn’t go so out of control, though she was shown in a clip during a group promo interview on “The Early Show” asking co-anchor Harry Smith, “You have to pick one of us to be intimate with. Which one?” Holly Robinson Peete: Seems especially eager to overshare, especially about anything involving her kids and family, including how she slept at a hotel the night before the show’s premiere because her husband (NFL player Rodney Peete) kept her up while he watched all his DVR’d shows (”48 Hours,” “Mad Men,” his buddy Kurt Warner on “Dancing With the Stars.”). Leah Remini: Looks like she wants to stir things up, and badly. Tends to shout a lot. Says that while she used to blame the writers if she was perceived badly on her old show, “KIng of Queens. Now it’s different: “If people hate me, they hate ME.” Marissa Jaret Winokur: Over-the-top bubbly, though she didn’t get much screen time until the very last segment, where she went around asking sex therapists and random people in parking lots about their views on talking to kids about sex. |
| Celine Dion Delivering Her Babies Posted: 18 Oct 2010 11:38 AM PDT Celine Dion has checked herself into St. Mary’s Medical Center in West Palm Beach, Florida, after being advised by her doctors.  It was rumored that Celine was set to deliver her twin boys with husband René Angélil, via C-section at the facility, but we have not received confirmation of that, as of yet. In a statement issued by the hospital earlier today, they say, “Ms. Celine Dion has been admitted to St. Mary’s Medical Center in West Palm Beach, Florida for observation at the recommendation of her doctors. She has been admitted to prevent the early delivery of her babies, which is the standard of care for any patient with twin pregnancy in this clinical setting.” The statement goes on to reveal that it was “done to ensure the patient can be in close contact with their doctors and clinical resources, leading up to their birth.” René said that there has been no C-section scheduled, saying, “There is nothing scheduled. We do not have a date” for their sons’ birth. All of our best wishes go out to Celine and her husband during this time. | Lady Gaga Getting Chunky? - Photos Posted: 18 Oct 2010 09:25 AM PDT We’re not bashing Lady Gaga, by any means. But apparently, she’s not as waif thin as she used to be, as evidenced by these photos. But hey, she’s still rocking the leather bikinis for her shows.  Since getting comfortable in her relationship with Luc Carl, Gaga has obviously eaten a little more than she usually does. This is to be expected when one reaches that stage in a romance. Not to say that it was a bad thing, considering how painfully thin she was before. Eat up, Gaga, we still love you! Last year, she was said to have been hospitalized over weight issues roughly six times. So we’re not dogging on her in the slightest. We need the Queen Bee to be healthy. Apparently, Gene has sued some people over illegally downloading his music, and Anonymous has taken action.  What action, you may wonder? Well, they have started with a denial of service on his official website, GeneSimmons.com. At the time of this posting, the site is still unable to be reached. Since going after Gene, he has taken particular issue with this attack and has threatened them all with a lawsuit and jail time. In his retaliation, Gene posted this:
Still, Anonymous remains unamused by the threats and has issued another threat. They’ve titled their new attack as “Operation Payback” and have issued this:  Good luck with that one, Gene. Seriously, it’s going to be hard to find someone on a community messageboard which prides itself on anonymity and behind-the-scenes action. What do you think? |
| Kanye West Talks About Banned Album Cover Posted: 18 Oct 2010 07:06 AM PDT Kanye West’s ‘My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy‘ album art is too hot for stores, according to the rapper’s Twitter frenzy on Sunday. George Condo, the American artist behind Kanye’s ‘Power’ music video/painting, created the new album cover.  The banned art features a thick red border with a small painting in the center, depicting West as a nude, fanged being on a couch, holding a green bottle while a Caucasian humanoid with wings and a polka-dotted tail straddles him. Kanye Tweeted,
According to the LA Times, West’s record label disagrees the album art was actually banned. Says “a source familiar with West’s discussions with Universal Music Group’s Island Def Jam,” Kanye was urged strongly to reconsider his artwork, but was ultimately told “if he wanted to do it, the label would stand behind him.” A heavy point in the artwork discussions was whether massive outlets like Wal-Mart and Best Buy would showcase Kanye’s album with the nude content. “In all honesty … I really don’t be thinking about Wal-Mart when I make my music or album covers. #kanyeshrug,” West wrote on Twitter. Some lovely people in the audience realized it would be a good idea to video tape the show. Here’s the first look at the trailer for Scream 4!
Director Wes Craven reunites Courtney Cox, David Arquette, and Neve Campbell on the big screen. A whole lot of new talent also joins them this time around: Marley Shelton, Hayden Pannetiere, & Emma Roberts just to name a few. | Justin Bieber Involved In Assault Investigation - Photos Posted: 18 Oct 2010 06:12 AM PDT According to reports, Justin Bieber is at the center of an assault investigation after a game of laser tag went south. Justin went to Planet Laser to have some fun, but was said to have allegedly hit another kid, prompting his father to notify the police.  A 12-year-old boy claims that Justin hit him during the game, and staffers on the scene say that Justin was said to have accidentally hit the kid while running away. Cops are investigating Justin for assault over the incident. A witness on the scene said this:
Justin was allegedly tossed out of the facility on Friday, but his reps are claiming that none of the reports are true. Reportedly, the kid lashed out at Justin, calling him a “f*ggot.” Reportedly, Justin’s people wanted to keep the incident under wraps, but Justin wasn’t having any of that.
