New Stills From ‘X-Men: First Class’ (Photos)

A bastardized photo from X-Men: First Class was leaked earlier this week which featured the films cast in their costumes. Many speculated that it was a fake… and according to director Matthew Vaughn it totally was.

Thankfully some genuine images have now been released, and well… I think they look a hell of a lot better. Check em out!

Peter Sciretta from SlashFilm got the chance to speak with Vaughn about the leaked photos:

"I freaked out on them yesterday. I don't know where the hell that came from. I don't think it's a Fox image. It's not a pre-approved image. When I found out, I said, what the fuck is this shit, and Fox is running around trying to figure out what happened as well. I agree. It's like a bad photoshop, which maybe it was by someone. It didn't reflect the movie. I was shocked when I saw it. I was like 'Jesus Christ'.

"I'm a fan of X-Men. We're not bastardizing X-Men, I'm trying to get them back to being whole again. The costumes are blue and yellow as well, because fuck it, lets take it back it the original. Also, by the way, those costumes are hardly in the movie. The main costumes are like these cool 60's James Bond."

"Imagine the Cuban Missile crisis and discovering that mutants exist, both at the same time." … "The actors are so great. Ian McKellen and Patrick Stewart are very very hard to replace. When I'm watching Fassbender and McAvoy you just think, it sort of reminds me of Daniel Craig doing Bond, you kind of forget there were other people playing him. And that's what I feel about these two."

"It's definitely more serious and more realistic, and I think that's something that had to happen. That's my feeling about the world we live in right now. I think the glossy colorful superhero film sorta had its day. I think Batman Begins started it, Dark Knight, dare I say Kick-Ass was fun and it had some real pop to it, but at the same time we grounded it in reality as much as possible. I think that's what the audience wants. And that why that image is more Fantastic Four than it is X-Men. And I say that with all due respect to the Fantastic Four team. That was then and this is now. It's a different time. I mean, look at me — I'm not exactly mister light."

“It's funny that you say that because if you watch [the other x-men movies] there isn't as much action as you'd think. I think X-men 3 had the most action. But X1 and X2 had cool set pieces. But for me, I think it's boring watching CG and big explosions. I'm sorta over that. I'd say it's got more character-driven action than action for the sake of action.”

“I'd say this is more like Casino Royale than [JJ Abrams] Star Trek. If you think about it, Casino Royale just totally rebooted Bond — they kept what they wanted and got rid of what didn't work. You sort of saw Bond become a double O for the first time and yet it didn't seem to matter [what they changed]. I think my rule is to make a stand alone movie that is as good as possible and do as many nods and winks towards the comics and the other films, but not get tied up in knots worrying about that. It's sort of a stand-alone movie in my mind with a reboot being a real reboot. Because if you're a stickler for continuity, in X3 when you see Patrick Stewart…. well, I don't want to give away anything about the plot but we've been as respectful of the other movies and comics as we I can feasibly can be without compromising the story."

Vaughn is currently in London editing the film, and hopefully a trailer will follow soon. X-Men: First Class is due out in theaters on June 3rd.

Noah Cyrus has a new Twitter account, in case you were wondering. She goes by @partyyandnoiee now and is ready to make you wonder (again!) where her parents are.

But, never fear, the Mulletted One is with her!


Now that older daughter Miley is moving out, making out with random guys and smoking “Salvia” from a bong, Billy Ray has to find *some way* to maintain his income level. Right? Right.

Noah tweeted, “Hey guys its Noie :) just made this pic of me dad & party! make sure to follow me & party @partyyandnoiee <3 :)" as if she needed to prove it's really her.

In case you weren't aware, Noah is eleven-years-old and has way too much free access to the internet. We all know that she's already in way too big of a hurry to grow up. Seriously, she was ten when she showed up to a Halloween party wearing what appeared to be a mix between Minnie Mouse and a dominatrix outfit. TEN!

I digress. With these Hollywood types, it’s all about the publicity, isn’t it? But I have to wonder if this little girl is acting out so much now, what will she be like in five years? How about two?

Selena Gomez Says Topless Photo Is A Fake

There is a photo making the rounds on the internet, with some suggesting that it’s Selena Gomez. She’s here to tell you, the photo is a fake and is not her.

Someone with an affinity for Photoshop creations made the pic and leaked it onto the internet and Selena is none too pleased about it!


Selena’s camp says that the topless photo is a fake and she’s going on the attack. TMZ reports:

Sources directly connected with Gomez tell TMZ Selena and company are furious that her reputation is being sullied by some perverts with Photoshop.

We’re told her lawyers are planning on taking action immediately. Standard operating procedure is to fire off a cease and desist letter … followed by a lawsuit.

JWoww Blocks Ex From Leaking Nude Photos

JWoww has gone to court and has blocked her ex-boyfriend, Thomas Lippolis, from showing off her nude photos to the public.

According to him, she asked him to take the before and after shots when she had her plastic surgery done. He maintains that the photos are his property and that he has a right to release them if he wishes.


A judge ruled earlier today that Thomas has no legal right to distribute the pics, after Jenni argued that they were taken without her permission — AND while under anesthesia.

He argued that she was standing up in the pictures and wasn’t under any influencers. He went on to say that it wouldn’t hurt her reputation because she already discussed working out a deal with “Playboy” to pose nude. Still, the judge saw it her way and has blocked him from releasing the pics.

The final decision will come when the case goes for arbitration. Stay tuned!

Anne Hathaway Cast As Catwoman In ‘The Dark Knight Rises’

One of my favorite young Hollywood actresses has been cast in director Christopher Nolan‘s The Dark Knight Rises.

Nolan made the announcement this morning that Anne Hathaway has been cast for the part of Selina Kyle A.K.A. Catwoman. It was announced earlier that Tom Hardy (Inception) had been cast in an unknown role. The director confirmed that he would be playing the character of Bane.

The Hollywood Reporter:

Anne Hathaway has nabbed the coveted female lead opposite Christian Bale in Christopher Nolan’s The Dark Knight Rises.

Warner Bros. made the announcement Wednesday morning.

The studio also revealed which character Tom Hardy, who joined the cast last fall, will play: Bane.

Bane, a man who spent his whole life in prison, was a test subject for a drug that gave him increased strength, although he also became addicted to that drug. As opposed to some of the more classic villains that have populated the Batman movies, Bane is a more recent creation (1993) and is best known for a story where he broke Batman's back, leaving the hero a paraplegic.

"I am delighted to be working with Tom again and excited to watch him bring to life our new interpretation of one of Batman's most formidable enemies," Nolan said in a statement.

Hathaway was on the the list of actresses which tested for the role in recent weeks, along with Jessica Biel and Keira Knightley, as revealed by Heat Vision.

The test involved Christian Bale, who had to leave his National Board of Review in New York dinner early so he could catch a flight back to LA. to conduct.

The Caped Crusader flies into theaters July 20th 2012.

Jake Gyllenhaal Rebounds With Camilla Belle

Jake Gyllenhaal was said to be quite the ladies man at the 2011 Golden Globes this past Sunday. He reportedly had a flirt-fest with Mila Kunis — and now he’s said to be rebounding with Joe Jonas’ ex-girlfriend, Camilla Belle!

If you believe “In Touch Weekly”, he’s “cruelly rebounding” with the same girl that stole Taylor’s last boyfriend away from her. How’s that for a sting?


Is this media blast on Taylor just to make everyone feel badly for her? Because if you feel awful for her ala Kanye West’s stage invasion, it will catapult her even further into the spotlight. You know what means, don’t you??? RECORD SALES!

So before you get all “poor Taylor” on us, think about that. Still, there is a “but” here. That was a complete douche move of Jake to pull if this story has any credibility to it. DOUCHE move, Jake. See, the stories are working….I’m already feeling sorry for Taylor.

Her best move at this point is probably what she already had planned for revenge. A song written in Jake’s honor (or not), not naming him, but speaks of “apple picking”, dating for three weeks and getting dumped by phone.

Lisa Veronica Goes After Katy Perry On Twitter

Lisa Veronica went after Katy Perry on Twitter last night, tweeting some of Katy’s song lyrics with the basic ‘WTF?!?’

Does Lisa need some relevancy in her life?

Lisa tweeted the lyrics to Katy’s song “Firework” and said this little gem:


What I can’t believe is that she has the nerve to pick on Katy for her lyrics when the lyrics to some of The Veronicas’ songs aren’t that much better.

Take their song, “Untouched”, for instance. The lyrics are, “See you, breathe you, I want to be you / Alalalala alalalala / You can take take take take take time time / To live live the way you gotta gotta live your life / Give me give me give me all of you you / Don’t be scared”.

Even though I will give The Veronicas credit, their songs are catchy. And I’m no Katy Perry fan, so don’t get it twisted. Katy hasn’t addressed the kerfuffle on Twitter, which probably means that she doesn’t know who Lisa Veronica is.

I mean, did you know who she was before this post??? Ha.

Christina Aguilera Passes Out On Jeremy Renner’s Bed

If anyone can just go to a birthday party, get smashed on booze and wake up in some hot actor’s bed, then I’m game. Can someone please point me to Alexander Skarsgard’s house, please? I got some drinking to do.

Christina Aguilera got wicked trashed at Jeremy Renner’s 40th birthday party and decided to pass out on his bed.


She showed up to the party uninvited on January 8th and then got wasted drunk. Afterward, she found his bed and passed out there. I bet her boyfriend Matthew Rutler can’t be too pleased that his girlfriend was in another man’s bed!

Jeremy wasn’t too happy about it, either. He ranted about it at the In Style Golden Globes after party. He said, “Someone comes and tells me she’s in my room. I run up and open the door and I’m like, ‘Um, hi. What are you doing?’ She just starts slurring. Her boyfriend was rubbing her back. Who comes to someone’s birthday party that they don’t know and gets in their bed?! My parents were there!”

Another source added, “Christina was a mess at that party. She acted like a fool. Her boyfriend was shushing her and telling her to go to sleep.”

Wow. You really can’t make this stuff up, can you?

I guess there’s one way to pay the bills, right? When you’re down on your luck and you’ve got 800 14 mouths to feed, why not take part in some fetish videos? It beats welfare, right?

OctoMom Nadya Suleman let some weirdo named Tattoo into her La Habra home so that she could make a baby fetish video with him. She even let this creeptastic dude into her kids’ room to play with their toys. Ugh. I just can’t.


Nadya is seen looking like she was melted into this black corset and given a whip. The guy even has welts on his back and she’s seen laying in her bed with him. These pics are so bad, that even I almost don’t know where to start. Almost.

I mean, seriously is there really a market for this kind of craziness?!?? Who wants to see a big lipped incubator who crapped out 14 kids whip on some tattoo’d freak to get their jollies?

Miranda Kerr and Orlando Bloom‘s introduce their brand new 12-day-old son, Flynn Kerr-Bloom.

Apparently their baby really was almost ten pounds at birth.

Miranda posted this picture of leche time on her blog:

On the 6th of January I gave birth to our beautiful little son Flynn. We cherish him. He weighed 9lb 12 ounces (a very healthy and big baby boy). I gave birth to him naturally; without drugs or painkillers and it was a long, arduous and difficult labour, but Orlando was with me the whole time supporting and guiding me through it. I could not have done it without him.

Thank you everyone for your beautiful well wishes and your lovely thoughts and comments. I haven't had a lot of time to read many comments or to respond, but please know I will when I do get a chance.

The attached picture is one that Orlando took of us.

It’s always interesting to see what a supermodel’s first baby photo will look like.

Miranda's post was the first official confirmation that she and Orlando had welcomed a child into the world.

Reports surfaced in early January that the 27-year-old model and her 33-year-old former "Pirates of the Caribbean" husband had welcomed a son, but no official confirmation was released at the time.

I'm a sucker for a good romantic drama, so I can’t wait to see this one. Perfect Sense is set to hit theaters in limited release sometime this year.
