| Alec Baldwin Thrown Off Plane For Playing ‘Words With Friends’ Posted: 06 Dec 2011 05:40 PM PST Alec Baldwin was kicked off an American Airlines flight today when he refused to turn off his cell phone. Why wouldn't the ‘30 Rock‘ star shut off his phone, you ask?
Apparently, Baldwin was in the middle of a game of Words With Friends… wow. The actor took to his Twitter to express his outrage:
Baldwin continued to lash out at the Airline by tweeting, "United Airlines should buy Words With Friends" and "Last flight w American. Where retired Catholic school gym teachers from the 1950s find jobs as flight attendants." Ironically, once the incident took place, other passengers on the plane took to their own social media sites on their mobile devices to report on what just happened. Here's the thing, yes the ‘no electronic devices during take off’ rule is annoying, but come on Baldwin really? You’re going to make a whole plane of people wait until you finish your game? Just because your Alec Baldwin doesn't mean the planes not going to malfunction because of your phone, do you smoke at gas stations too? Get over yourself Baldwin. |
| Chewbacca To Guest Star On ‘Glee’ Posted: 06 Dec 2011 04:34 PM PST That's right everyone's favorite wookie is joining the Glee cast for the annual holiday episode! For those unaware, Chewbacca is the hairy space creature from the classic George Lucas film, Star Wars.
Cast member, Matthew Morrison confirmed this on Jimmy Kimmel Live saying, “We called up George Lucas and he gave us Chewbacca. There is only one guy who can officially be Chewbacca, and he lives in Northern California and they flew him in.” “We had Chewbacca for the day, and it was just great, and we were all taking pictures with him,” added the 33-year-old actor. According to Morrison, the holiday show will be an episode-within-an episode… huh? Morrison explained, “We’re doing a Christmas special within the episode of Glee,” Morrison explained. “It’s a throwback and a tribute to the Star Wars holiday special and the Judy Garland Christmas special.” Why do we need Chewbacca, we already have Jane Lynch. What did she have done?  Well it appears that Ken went with a yellow hue and a fuller lip. Why does she keep doing that to herself? Just when you thought this guy couldn’t be a bigger douche. Last night, Jesse James returned to reality TV on a show called American Chopper: The Build-Off. Instead of using the time to build things, he used it to slam Sandra Bullock. “I became a big shot and married some Hollywood actress and didn't talk to anybody anymore, so I feel bad. . . I feel obligated to reconnect with all these people and show ‘em that I’m still the same fabricator motorcycle guy. I’m not what I became.” Oh… and he’s totally going to save The Discovery Channel. James and Bullock ended their marriage mostly because of his affair with Michelle “Bombshell” McGee and several other women. He rebounded in August 2010 with Kat von D, then cheated on her with 19 women. |
