| Lindsay Lohan Sentenced To 90 Days In Jail & In-Patient Rehab Posted: 06 Jul 2010 04:07 PM PDT For violating the terms of her probation with regard to her 2007 DUI arrest, Judge Marsha Revel just determined that Lindsay Lohan will face some jail time! Finally, justice is served!  Lindsay addressed the court and said that she was given permission by the Right On Program to leave town and that she wasn’t requesting any special treatment. She let the tears flow as she said that she thought she was in compliance with the court. She really started bawling when the judge proved that she was just like the rest of us. She sentenced Lindsay to complete 90 days in jail, 90 days in an in-patient rehab program. Lindsay’s lawyer, Shawn Chapman Holley, asked for Lindsay to be able to surrender in the next two weeks. She’s due back in court to surrender on July 20, 2010 at 8:30 a.m. She was also ordered to continue wearing the SCRAM device until she surrenders. She cried like a baby! She basically gave that messed up “I’m a celebrity, this isn’t fair” face and whined as her sentence was read by the judge. That was the best performance I’ve ever seen from her. They should give her an Oscar. She had this coming. She has completely and utterly disregarded the court time after time. Maybe her new girlfriend will spring Lindsay from jail in a covert operation. | Men At Work Ordered To Pay Royalties On ‘Land Down Under’ Posted: 06 Jul 2010 03:39 PM PDT If you’re a fan of eighties music, then I’m sure you’ve heard of Men At Work’s song, “Land Down Under”. What you might not have known is that they totally ripped off the flute solo, at least that’s what we hear.  Today, a judge ordered the band to fork over five percent of the royalties from the hit song, after the court determined that the flute solo was similar to the song, “Kookaburra Sits In The Old Gum Tree.” Personally, I listened to the flute solo by Men At Work and the Kookaburra song and have found no similarities between the two. The rights to the song were purchased by Larrakin Music. They sued Men At Work for 60 percent of the royalties for the song. The original song writer, Marion Sinclair, has since passed away. | Angelina Jolie Has Gotten A New Tattoo - Photos Posted: 06 Jul 2010 02:22 PM PDT Angelina Jolie is sporting a little bit of new ink as she promoted her new flick, “Salt”, in Cancun, Mexico.  She flashed her new artwork as she waved to her fans during the press junket for the movie, in which she plays a CIA agent who has been accused of being a Russian spy. We’re not exactly sure what the tattoo is, except to say that it’s a frame of sorts for her Roman numeral “XIII”.  She still looks good, even with every bit of extra decoration that she gets on herself. Just think, this movie was originally about a man named Edwin Salt. In a new interview with “Vanity Fair”, Angelina talked about her children and marriage. She said, “No, I’m not pregnant. We’re not opposed to it. But we want to make sure we can give everybody special time.” When asked about finally getting hitched to Brad, she added, “[We are not] against getting married, it’s just like we already are.” And there you have it. | Prince Says The Internet Is Over Posted: 06 Jul 2010 10:15 AM PDT Hang it up everyone, the Purple One has spoken. Put away those laptops and that pesky mouse, because Prince has declared that the internet is officially over.  Prince is apparently stuck in the dark ages and says that he only plans to release his music is CD format. He doesn’t care for iTunes, or the internet at all, for that matter. In a new interview with “The Daily Mirror”, his internet shunning holiness said, “The internet’s completely over. I don’t see why I should give my new music to iTunes or anyone else. They won’t pay me an advance for it and then they get angry when they can’t get it. The internet’s like MTV. At one time MTV was hip and suddenly it became outdated. Anyway, all these computers and digital gadgets are no good. They just fill your head with numbers and that can’t be good for you.” Those danged numbers, getting in my head! And to think he feels that LOLCats, Twitter, Facebook and Toothpaste for Dinner are all just useless, wastes of time. | Lindsay Lohan’s Probation Violation Hearing Today Posted: 06 Jul 2010 09:47 AM PDT Lindsay Lohan is in court right now and the judge is determining whether or not she violated the terms of her probation.  When she last appeared in court, it was said that she may have to do jail time because she didn’t complete her alcohol education classes on time. Oh yeah, and there’s that thing about getting tanked in Cannes, France, when she should’ve been in the States at her court hearing. That’s right, some nefarious thug sent in by her notorious father thieved her passport. Pesky thugs. How dare they scoot off with her important documents long enough so that she could appear at all of those parties. Don’t you hate it when that happens? Prosecutor Danette Meyers is apparently out for blood. She has witnesses that say they saw Lindsay tying one on after the MTV Movie Awards. Stay tuned! We’ll update when we have more information! UPDATE: Lindsay has just been sentenced to 90 days in jail, in addition to an in-patient abuse program. WOW. | Lady Gaga Is A Lady With Morals Posted: 06 Jul 2010 08:00 AM PDT Lady Gaga may dress up for her fans in wacky outfits and head coverings, but deep down, she’s really a lady who has a strong moral code.  In a new interview with the “Daily Star”, she said, “I am Lady Gaga because in private I am a lady. Don't be fooled by the way I look, underneath all this I know exactly who I am and what my boundaries are. They are all important to me. As a performer I'm outrageous and wild but as a person I have a very strong moral code. I would never cheat on a man. I believe in honesty and integrity. My greatest sacrifice is love. I've only ever been in love once and I had to walk away because I had to put my career first." Good for her. I’m glad that she is a real person outside of the persona that she’s created for herself. I love this crazy broad and her wild antics. Her music is the best part, too. Call me a Gaga stan, but I’ll listen to just about anything she puts out there. She definitely keeps us guessing as to what she’s going to do next.
