Wyclef Jean Shot In The Hand

Wyclef Jean, former member of the hip-hop group The Fugees was shot in the hand yesterday just outside the city of Port-au Prince, Haiti.

The shooting came on the eve of the country’s presidential election for which Jean had declared his candidacy.

Jean filed for candidacy last August, but was ruled ineligible to stand because he had not met the residency requirements.

The assailant was not caught, and it is uncertain if the singer was the intended target.

A representative for Jean is quoted as saying “He's fine now. It happened late yesterday night and he was released after a couple hours."

Glad to hear he’s doing alright.

Robert Pattinson Denies Meeting Justin Bieber

Robert Pattinson has revealed that he has never met Justin Bieber.

Bieber recently said, "One day Robert Pattinson came up to me at a party and said, 'For whatever reason, people love our hair and it's always a great ice-breaker with girls.' He is like, 'Hey my name's Robert. Want to touch my hair?'”

However, Pattinson said in a recent MTV segment that this statement is not true.

“I’ve never met this guy,” the actor said. “I saw that as well. I was like, ‘You’re really famous, man – what are you doing? You don’t need to use me to make up stories!’”

Pattinson went on to say that he does however like Bieber’s hair, and stated that although he would not cut his hair to be like the Canadian popstar, he would consider sporting a “Bieber hat”.

When asked what shampoo he uses to achieve his own hairstyle, the Twilight star responded jokingly, “I use dog shampoo,” before actually answering, “Whatever is around.”

In the same interview, Pattinson declared that he used to look homeless.

Pattinson can be seen next in Water For Elephants, opening in cinemas on April 22nd.

Apple iPhone App ‘Ex-Gay’ – Are You Serious?!

I couldn’t believe my eyes when I came across a petition to remove an Apple iPhone app called ‘Ex-Gay‘, which is touted as being able to cure the gayness right out of people.

Are you F-ing serious? Get this shite gone already, there is ENOUGH hate in the world!

I’m so pissed off that my blood is almost literally boiling!!!

You know, I’ve been very patient with these crazed right wing radicals, and their bullshite garbage for long enough.

I’m done with this. Crap like this ridiculous app are just fueling the hatred that has and continues to destroy the world we live in.

If I’m not mistaken doesn’t the ‘good book’ teach us to ‘love thy neighbor’? Or does that not apply if your neighbors skin color is different than yours, or if your neighbor loves Steve instead of Stephanie?

Such garbage. Hatred is a taught behavior, and one that needs to stop immediately if we want to live a happy and peacefully co-existent life with the rest of our fellow human beings on this rock.

Live your life, do as you see fit. But don’t tell others how to live their lives, and don’t hate just because of your differences.

Ugh. Sign the petition to get this app removed. It’s just disgusting.

John Mayer & Kate Winslet Hooking Up?

I have no idea how these rumors get started, but some ‘insider’ close to Kate Winslet claims that her and crooner John Mayer are a hot item.

Apparently though, the alleged couple are trying to keep a very tight lid on their ‘relationship’… at least that what we’re hearing…

Ok! Magazine has more:

"Kate Winslet is trying her best to keep her steamy new hookup under wraps," the report claims adding that she "has been secretly spending time with notorious ladies' man John Mayer."

So how did their romance allegedly bloom?

"A few weeks ago, John was at a party in Manhattan when he ran into Kate. He really put the moves on her, and Kate eventually responded," an insider told the publication adding that Kate was "begging him not to blab."

But apparently their fling is non-existent.

A source close to Kate told Gossip Cop that report is "false," and that Kate and John "have never met."

Last we checked, Kate was dating British model Louis Dowler since last year.

Am I the only one that just LOVES reading flip-flop stories? LOL!

Heck, if they’re dating that’s great. I wish them well, because that dude is a sexy beast. And if not, well… more for the rest of us, right?

Wait just a minute… John and Kate… plus 8? Sorry, couldn’t help myself…

Lady Gaga Accused Of Plagiarism… Again (Video)

My fellow monsters, Mother Monster is being slammed again! The most recent accusation comes from a Korean girl group claiming that she ripped off their track ‘Be Happy‘ from their 2010 album.

This comes on the heals of another scandal suggesting that Gaga copied Madonna‘s hit song ‘Express Yourself‘.

While I will admit that there is a minor similarity between all three tracks, the songs are not similar enough to warrant these accusations, at least not in my opinion.

And if this Korean group SNSD claim that ‘Born this Way’ is a rip off of their song, and other people are comparing ‘Born this Way’ to ‘Express Yourself’, then wouldn’t that suggest that SNSD plagiarized Madonna?

That would be the next logical step, no?

Just because a song has some similarities to another one, doesn’t make it plagiarism. In fact, I am fairly certain that the term plagiarize means something copying someone else’s work with the express intent of claiming it as your own.

Check out two songs side by side and judge for yourself.

Paying homage to other artists is NOT the same thing. People need to get back and quit being so jealous of Gaga’s success. Cuz that’s all this is. Plain and simple. Haters need to step off.
