| Vanessa Hudgens Got a New Tattoo Posted: 18 Feb 2011 12:27 AM PST Vanessa Hudgens got a new neck tattoo and it’s of a butterfly! The 22-year-old actress inked herself last night in NYC at Bang Bang Tattoos and was accompanied by gal pal and MTV Australia VJ, Ruby Rose.  Ruby tweeted the news, saying, "Please dont blame me.. But i may have convinced Vanessa hudgens to get a tattoo… Now. Her first…" According to Ruby, Vanessa was having a hard time deciding between her neck or her ribs. | Paris Hilton Launches iPhone App Posted: 17 Feb 2011 09:09 PM PST Paris Hilton fans can now spend 24/7 with the hotel heiress by downloading her new iPhone app.
As well as sharing a ‘playlist’ of her favorite songs, TV shows and movies, Paris will upload personal photos for her fans to see. A ‘BFF’ feature even allows people to insert the heiress in their own photos and e-mail them to their friends. ‘I wanted to make it personal to me,’ Paris has said. ‘There’s a thing called Hot or Not Hot where you upload a picture and people can vote on you. ‘There are some tips and things that I do. It’s a lot of fun.’ The Paris Hilton app, which was developed by Velti, is available to buy from the iTunes App Store for $2.99. Android and iPad versions of the app will be available in the coming weeks. You can snag it HERE — but I warn you, reviews don’t seem to be the best. The first one reads, “Omg I didn’t know this costed money and I bought it accidentally thinking it was free. Thats not hot. What a waste of an iTunes giftcard.” |
| Britney Spears ‘Hold It Against Me’ Premiere (Video) Posted: 17 Feb 2011 08:55 PM PST It’s not a stretch to call “Hold It Against Me” the most anticipated video of Britney Spears‘ 11-year career; after all, how many of her songs were preceded by a two-week teaser marathon, driving tens of millions of fans to the brink insanity?  Shot by Jonas Akerlund, who has also worked with Lady Gaga, the video features the singer fighting against herself. “She’s showing that you have to push it as an artist, that you can’t just settle, that you can’t be calm with your choreography, that you have to make a statement,” Brian Friedman, her choreographer, said. “There’s so many people out there competing in this world to be the queen of pop, and she’s definitely claiming her throne.” I found the product placements for her actual fragrances, Make Up For Ever and the Plenty of Fish Dating Website to be a bit much. The best part is undoubtedly the battle of Britney vs. Britney, in which our lady Fight Clubs her own self to the death. |
| Miley Cyrus Mad Over Billy Ray’s ‘GQ’ Interview Posted: 17 Feb 2011 11:42 AM PST On Tuesday, it was revealed that Billy Ray Cyrus’ mullet had a lot of opinions on the effects of Disney show, “Hannah Montana” and his family. He said that the show destroyed his family and that he didn’t attend Miley’s 18th birthday party because it was held in a bar. He even went as far as saying that he’s scared for her.  This has apparently ruffled some feathers with her, as she’s said to be mad over the interview. A source close to the Disney starlet said, “To say Miley is angry is an understatement. She’s furious that her own flesh and blood would make a private matter so public. Who does he thin he is, Michael Lohan?” Snap! And notice the Poison reference there? “Flesh and Blood” was a popular album by the Bret Michaels fronted band….It’s a seemingly subtle “eff you” to Billy Ray for those Bret and Tish hookup rumors. But I digress. Miley is calling the interview quotes “unforgivable”. The source said, “This isn’t what a father does. He never said a bad word about ‘Hannah Montana’ all those years it made millions for the family, and now that Miley has turned 18 and is making her own decisions, he does this. Unforgivable.” There are also rumors that Miley isn’t talking to the Mullet. The snitch added, “Miley has told him that if he wants to talk with her he has her number. It’s been the same number she always has had.” If he was really turning into a Michael Lohan, he could threaten getting a conservatorship just for the media attention….We’re just sayin’. |
| Amanda Seyfried Denies Ryan Phillippe Hit On Rihanna (Video) Posted: 17 Feb 2011 08:15 AM PST Yesterday, we reported that Ryan Phillippe was trying to put the mack moves on Rihanna, but was brutally rebuffed by the singer. Today, his girlfriend, Amanda Seyfried, is calling BS on the reports. He was said to have tried to pick Rihanna up, asking what she was doing at the Gucci/Roc Nation brunch yesterday. She blew him off, according to reports.  Amanda is pulling out the girlfriend card, saying that he did NOT try picking up RiRi! Amanda was moving her stuff into her new place, when “X17″ caught up with her. She chatted with snappers, but when the subject of Ryan hitting on Rihanna came up, she decided to clear the air. She said, “Oh, he’s a nice guy — we’re friends. And that Rihanna story is not true. That is so f*cking not true!” Check out the video: Wow, someone took offense to the rumors! | Brian Friedman Responds To Britney Spears Complaints Posted: 17 Feb 2011 08:00 AM PST Apparently choreographer Brian Friedman has been catching some flack over the 30-second promo that premiered for Britney Spears’ new song, “Hold It Against Me” from her fans. So, he’s taken to his Twitter account to discuss the claims.  The full version is set to hit the world tonight, but he had said previously that Britney “freaked out” when he showed her some of the choreography that he wanted her to do for the video. When the promo (below) hit, her fans directed their complaints in his direction. Check out the promo: He tweeted, “Britney Fans… I DIDNT edit or direct the video so please do not place hostility at me if you arent happy with what you have seen or see.” One fan complained, “You would say that – she employs you!!” Another said, “I hope it’s not a bunch of turns and hair flips and arm movements….we’ve seen that already aka Circus Tour.” We’ll all get to see more than a bunch of turns and hair flips when the video makes its official premiere tonight!
