| Michelle Pfeiffer & Helena Bonham Carter To Star In ‘Dark Shadows’? Posted: 16 Feb 2011 04:03 PM PST 1960′s horror soap opera Dark Shadows has found life once again, this time at the hands of eclectic film-maker Tim Burton. Already cast are Johnny Depp as Barnabus Collins, Jackie Earle Haley as Willie Loomis, and Eva Green as Angelique.
Currently in talks is the stunning Michelle Pfeiffer. She is apparently up for the role of Elizabeth Collins Stoddard, the matriarch of the Collins family and descendant of vampire Barnabus Collins. While I’m pleased as punch at the prospect of having the lovely Pfeiffer on board for the production of this film, I must say, I wouldn’t have placed her in Elizabeth’s shoes. I realize that Pfeiffer isn’t as young as she used to be, but I don’t believe her to be old enough to play the role. Meh, I’ll live with it. Also in on the table talks is Burton’s wife Helena Bonham Carter who is up for the role of Dr. Julia Hoffman, the only person in Collinsport to know Barnabus’s secret. Can’t wait to see who else fills the roster on this one. Yeah, I’m a little bit excited, but please dear god, don’t let them F this one up! |

She even addressed the controversy surrounding her new song, “Born This Way” amidst the allegations that she copied Madonna’s song, “Express Yourself“. She said that she received an email from Madge’s people, saying that they love and support her new song. Now, we’ve learned that Madonna is unaware of any email sent! Uh oh!  Gaga said, “There is really no one that is a more adoring and loving Madonna fan than me. I am the hugest fan, personally and professionally. And… Well, the good news is, I got an e-mail from her people and her sending me their love and complete support on behalf of the single. But is their newly budding romance over already?  Days later, Phillippe tried to pick up Rihanna, 22, at the Gucci/Roc Nation brunch at L.A.’s Soho House February 12th. “He said something to the effect of, ‘What are you doing tonight?’ and she signaled ‘sleep,’” a witness tells the new Us Weekly. “She was trying to be polite, but she was genuinely not interested. When a couple of her friends came up to join the conversation, he just walked away.” The actor, 36, had more luck later that night, when he was seen leaving a house party with a pretty brunette. As for his relationship with Seyfried, 25: “It’s casual. They’e friends who hang out romantically from time to time and that’s it,” says a pal. “At one point, there was a chance it would develop into something more serious, but it never did. During their filming of “Abduction”, the twosome hit it off and have been dating ever since. Dropping the tape early yesterday evening, Lil’ Kim tweeted a link to a PayPal account to purchase the offering for $9.99, surprising fans who expected the street CD to be a freebie. A mix tape for $9.99… REALLY?!  Despite slapping a price tag on the tape, the Brooklyn diva sweetened the incentive by promising that the first 100,000 copies sold will arrive in the mailbox with an autograph. Kim also shocked the Internet with the graphic cover image for the ‘tape, boasting an old picture Photoshopped to have her brandishing a blood-soaked sword and a headless portrait of Nicki Minaj, insinuating her decapitation. Surely Nicki Minaj couldn't let news like that fly under the radar. In the current issue, the Biebz talks about sex, politics, puberty and music! The Biebz looks like he’s trying to grow up too fast, what’s with that hair?!? Is that his “sexy” look???  On becoming a U.S. citizen: “You guys are evil. Canada’s the best country in the world. We go to the doctor and we don’t need to worry about paying him, but here, your whole life, you’re broke because of medical bills. My bodyguard’s baby was premature, and now he has to pay for it. She went on to reveal, “I felt my heart literally open up for the first time and like wrap itself around her. It was profound.” She added that she’s “more in love with her every minute of the day.” After fighting breast cancer, Christina cherishes everything in life. She said, “I’ve had to talk about that word more than I’ve ever had to talk about a word in my life. After a while you’re like, ‘There’s got to be something else to me.’” Of course there is! Now she has a beautiful daughter! She said, “Yeah, now I’m Mom. She’s healed me in so many ways. She’s just made my life so much better.
