Twilight Wins ‘Magazine Cover of the Year’ Posted: 04 Oct 2010 10:14 PM PDT People of all ages sunk their teeth into the Twilight saga. At the forefront of the vampire phenomenon were Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson, who graced Harper's Bazaar's December subscriber cover in a rare shot together. Harper’s Bazaar was the only monthly magazine to feature the couple on a cover. While the epic image played on the idea of courtship, it was given extra heat due to their real-life romance. |
50 Cent and Chelsea Handler Are Dating Posted: 04 Oct 2010 09:49 PM PDT 50 Cent and Chelsea Handler are bumpin’ uglies! The two were spotted getting up close and personal at the Blue Nile jazz bar in New Orleans on Sunday night. In an image obtained by TMZ, the hardcore rapper and the actress/host sat very close to each other as they got “very hot and heavy with each other.” Fueling speculation that the New Orleans bar outing is more than just two friends hanging out, a snitch told Media Take Out, “It was definitely a date.” The site further mentioned that 50 and Chelsea have been previously seen together at a hotel lobby in Nashville. 50 had previously taken to his Twitter page to share about his interest on Chelsea. Back on August 28, the “Superstar” rapper tweeted, “I think @chelseahandler is beautiful I wanta see what that dog lookin at on her page.” The tweet referred to Chelsea’s dog Chunk, who is seen looking up her skirt on the cover of her New York Times bestseller Chelsea Chelsea Bang Bang. Meanwhile, Chelsea herself has revealed on her nightly E! television show that 50 had sent her a flower to the studio and left a voicemail which said, “Hey, this is 50, I just want you to know that I was serious about asking you out. Just wanted to know if you are single.” Though so, on 50’s wish to look at her panties, Chelsea responded on her Twitter page on Monday, October 4, “This is the only man who I allow to see me in my briefs,” and posted a picture of her kissing a man in his fedora. |
‘Dancing With The Stars’ Week Three Recap Posted: 04 Oct 2010 06:07 PM PDT Michael Bolton was eliminated from last week’s “Dancing With The Stars” and it’s anyone’s guess who’s going to get the axe this week. Jennifer Grey and Derek Hough are up first doing the Samba. This dance looks a little strained, albeit not her best. They scored 24 points. Up next are Florence Henderson and Corky Ballas doing the Waltz. It’s a slow and graceful number and it’s very nice and sweet, like Florence (I hope she wins). They scored 20 points. Dancing next are Kurt Warner and Anna Trebunskaya, doing the Foxtrot. This was a cute dance and he did a fine job with this one. They scored 23 points. Up next are Margaret Cho and Louis Van Amstel doing the Samba. She was stiff and looked uncomfortable. They scored 18 points. Dancing next are Audrina Patridge and Tony Dovolani, doing the Waltz. It’s slow and sensual and somewhat tasteful, but boring at the same time. They scored 26 points. Bristol Palin and Mark Ballas are up next, dancing the Foxtrot. This was a little slower than I had imagined and just hard to watch. They scored 19 points. Brandy and Maksim Chmerkovskiy are doing the Samba next. I’m not sure how Brandy did, because I was too busy watching Maks. They scored 24 points. Kyle Massey and Lacey Schwimmer are up next doing the Waltz. It was slow and cute and totally believable. They scored 23 points. The Situation and Karina Smirnoff are up next, doing the Foxtrot. Poor Karina, she was really trying to make this futuristic Foxtrot happen. Ugh. They scored 20 points. Rick Fox and Cheryl Burke are doing the Samba next. They did a great job, what a way to end the show. Loved it. They scored 24 points. Who are you rooting for this week? |
Levi Johnston’s Music Video Debut Posted: 04 Oct 2010 11:58 AM PDT Bristol Palin’s ex-boyfriend, Levi Johnston, has made his music video debut in Brittani Senser’s new music video for “After Love”. Watch this while the hilarity ensues! In the video, she tries to sing, while he tries to act. It’s funny, really. I’ve spent the past half hour laughing my butt off at the video. The video depicts a mother who doesn’t want her daughter to date Levi, which is nothing like real life, right? Well, it sort of would be if either of them knew how to act whatsoever. Check out the video: Brittani Senser After Love So, we’ve gotta ask. What did you think of Levi’s music video debut? Take our poll, below!! Thoughts? |
Kanye West Announces New Album Release Date Posted: 04 Oct 2010 10:32 AM PDT Kanye West has taken to his official Twitter to let all of his fans in on some album news. If you’re a fan, then you’ll be happy to know that Kanye has just tweeted that his album will be released on November 22, 2010. He tweeted, “L.A. Reid who’s doing a great job at Def Jam. We gone Kill it again on November 22nd!!!!!!!!!! Even with the leaks fam.”
I just have to wonder if we can expect more “moving paintings” with the upcoming release. What do you think? Besides that, what should he call his new album? So far, we’ve gotten “The College Dropout”, “Late Registration”, “Graduation” and “808s & Heartbreak”. What do you think should be next??? |
Angelina Jolie & Brad Pitt’s Kids Start School In Budapest Posted: 04 Oct 2010 09:35 AM PDT It’s that time of year for the Jolie-Pitt kids! School time, that is! And of course, their parents, Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt have decided to send them to the strangest location for their education: Budapest! Earlier this morning, Shiloh, Pax and Maddox began school in Budapest, but there were no signs of Zahara attending. Perhaps they’ve sent her elsewhere? A source said that parents and teachers at the school have been ordered to sign security agreements stating that they’ll keep their mouths shut around the media. If they disobey the order, they could be fined. If they continue to talk to the media about the Jolie-Pitt kids, their kid could even get suspended from school until further notice. That seems kind of strange to put those kinds of restrictions on parents who likely don’t even know who Brangelina is. Meanwhile, the celebrity parents are keeping busy with movie obligations. She’s working on a Bosnian love story, while he’s filming “Moneyball”. What do you think of their decision to send the kids away for their schooling? Take our poll, below! source: Jolie-Pitt Kids Start School in Budapest - [us weekly] |
Posted: 04 Oct 2010 04:14 AM PDT The Social Network opened this weekend and landed itself in the #1 spot with it’s total box-office earnings sitting at about the $23,000,000 mark. It tells the marginally fictionalized story of Harvard genius Mark Zuckerberg, and of his creation of the social networking brainchild Facebook. After his girlfriend breaks up with him, Zuckerberg goes home, gets wasted, and starts posting comments about her on his LiveJournal account. He then gets the idea to make a website that rates the attractiveness of the female students at Harvard. He uses an algorithm given to him by his buddy Eduardo Saverin and “FashMash” is created, where people can vote on who of two women are better looking. After getting busted, he faces probation and ostracism. The fact that he managed to create such a site, in just one night while drunk off his a** attracts attention from Divya Narendra, as well as twins; Cameron and Tyler Winklevoss, who have been looking for a programmer to help create “The Harvard Connection”. After Mark agrees to help them, he tells Eduardo about an idea for a social networking tool he calls “The Facebook”. Eduardo ends up giving Mark $1,000 in start up cash. Once the site is launched and becomes incredibly popular, the three investors of the “Harvard Connection” want to sue Zuckerberg for intellectual property theft, believing that Zuckerberg stole the idea given by them. When I first heard about this movie, I was dead set against seeing it. But as time went on and as the buzz surrounding the film grew, so did my interest. I had assumed the film would be boring and self serving, but boy was I wrong. I would have to say, that even if this wasn’t a bio-pic about the creation of Facebook, then it would still work as a very well put together film. The writing is superb, as is the acting on all counts. Jesse Eisenberg does a fantastic job of showing the different facets that make up Mark Zuckerberg, even if the film’s version of Zuckerberg is not entirely true to life. The lawsuits that feature in the films “present day” bits don’t get tacky and annoying as I had anticipated. This film is virtually flawless all around. The thing that surprised me most was Justin Timberlake’s portrayal of Napster creator Sean Parker. Who knew this kid could really act? I mean WOW! So in short, go see this. Even if you’re like me and know nothing of the actual history of the creation of Facebook, you will enjoy this. It is a great film that did not bore me or lose me at all through the whole thing. |
